Outstanding observations about climate and food as the determinants of bear and bird activity! I like the low camera angle on the plovers. Love the eagle in the lupine! Love the puffins and the fin whales! The wet eagle face on portrait was awesome!
Hello, thank you for your videos I'm already salivating at the future images you're going to publish I'm a fan of Alaska yet I'm writing to you from France Keep it up just for the pleasure of the eyes and the animal photographer that I am and who dreams can be a day browse your shooting locations. Thank you Eric
Very interesting with all the factors that influence wildlife on the island. Great photo of the eagle. Looking forward to all your videos from that trip. Greetings from Denmark. / Per
Hey Scott, youre tottally right how misserable weather can make for some great shots. Thanks for sharing another adventure with us. Keep your head up and im sure you will get those bears.
Thanks for sharing another wonderful video like always, I love all your photos and amazing adventures, the only bad thing is that I am not there taking awesome shots with you 😂🐦👍🤗
Yes, the heat here in Oklahoma is rough. In the OKC area the temps have been in the low 100's. I also look forward to traveling to CO for a week or two during the summer and getting a break from the heat. I'm a new subscriber, and just purchased an R8 to upgrade from the old T3! I appreciate the reviews of R8 VS R7. I look forward to watching more of this series. Thank you
I enjoy the channel and the reminder of the kind of determination and patience it takes to produce consistently great images. Makes me realize I'm not alone when I've had a good walk but only managed to add photos to my "Bird Bums of North America" collection that I seem to be working on:)
Sorry it didn't turn out as expected, but you recovered well with some beautiful photos. Love your videos because they have amazing pictures and great info.
Such an amazing place! Look forward to your following videos. Alaska is somewhere I've wanted to visit since I was a child. For now I'll visit through your content. Thank you for bringing us all a bit closer to such a wonderful place.
Sounds like you still had a good time even though the weather wasn’t on your side. Looking forward to the videos, appreciate all the work you put in for us Scott!
Im loving your videos, I'm always waiting for your next one to pop up, I'm really new to photography but loving when i go out to take some shots, I'm hoping to go to Alaska next year, possibly June, where in Alaska is a must go place? I'm from England and this would probably be once in a lifetime opportunity so wouldn't want to miss that special place if possible?
That eagle shot is incredible.
thx
Doing early morning photography of our local otters in Ireland, I definitively relate to the Kodiak weather experience :D There is always tomorrow :)
Very cool. Otters are a blast
Enjoying very much listing and watching. Merci encore 😊
Glad you enjoy it!
Wow, that shot of a Savanah Sparrow in the lupine was fantastic! Thanks for sharing your experience out there.
glad you enjoyed it
Gutted you didn’t see the bears 🐻 hopefully see some next time 👍👍👍
Hopefully in a little over a month I'll be heading back
@@WILDALASKA brilliant fingers crossed 🤞for a successful shoot 👍👍👍

Sounds like the SE. When I first showed up at a USFS bunkhouse in Cordova a sign on the door said 'Enjoy the two weeks of summer, the rest is rain.'
Yup
Fabulous and fascinating video Scott, keep them coming mate 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks 👍
Bedraggled bird shots reminded me how I feel when out in a downpour! Looking forward to your future videos.
Yes! Thank you!

Yes Don and I have joked about making a "Best Butts of Alaska" and it's just but shot of all the birds and animals.
How about this title, "The Birder's Guide to the South End of North Bound Birds of North America." Kind of has a ring to it:)

For sure make a trip to Katmai, but anywhere in Alaska is amazing.
