I find it interesting how all the focus is on her and Peter is just secondary but they were living that life as two people working together and supporting each other as a team.
You touched on cider vinegar to wash your hair. A hairdresser friend of mine told me 3 things to wash your hair with, in order of stripping the gunk. First is cider vinegar and Hienz brand topped the list. Next, was sparkling cider (your favorite brand). Lastly, your favorite club soda. Rinse your hair and work it to your scalp. I did so with the rinse falling into a bowl with all three. The product in the bowl was very murky. Shampoo and conditioner, my hair was light and fluffy. The next day at work (smoke filled casino), Miss Sharon said "You tried it! What do you think?" I thanked her for the tip. I now use bar soap and when I have an itch, I repeat with cider vinegar. I caught head lice three times on summer from the casino I worked at (lots of mammals in a confined place and pestilence will happen), the cider for a few days in a row took care of the problem... Vee has huge and thick hair, she never had one on her. I hope this helps some one or you and yours. Take care from Oklahoma Mike and Vee
@@Steve-Owens it works on itchy or danderuff to boot. Listerine will too but, it pulls too much natural oils with the alcohol content. If you have long hair, avoid anything with alcohol.
What a flexible and interesting woman. She's open to new ideas, experiences and adventure. Attitude is so important. Hers looks hard to beat. I just found a quotation I think is appropriate. "You only live once but if you do it right, once is enough."-Mae West
People are silly to think that killing an animal to survive is ridiculous. It is necessary! I live on venison and poultry. Our ancestors did not have McDonald’s to run too to get food. I love everything about this wonderful couple! Thank you for sharing this video!
Thanks to a lovely lady and her man showing people how it is done. True wilderness couple. Pandemic mentioned way.. back. Very intelligent couple. 🙂💁♀️🙏💕
I discovered the content about this amazing person in July 2022...Very admirable...! It could be good material for an adventure movie. Tropical expat salutes from Venezuela.
If we only ate meat we caught ourselves the world would be better off. Here in the US we have what we call homesteading. Basically the idea is you grow your own food, heat your home with wood you chop, hunt your own meat, and basically do everything you can yourself. It's a little different than being off the grid because homesteaders can use city or state electricity or water, but many choose to provide themselves with their own water and electricity. If we all did this it'd be amazing how fast things turn around ecologically speaking.
Indeed, we lived like this ourselves for many years on our little farm, almost self sufficient, it's a great way to live, until you want to travel that is :o)
@@Steve-Owens I agree. Something I noticed is I would put on so much weight and bloat when I would travel away from my property. I'm used to a very fresh and clean diet. Meats that I hunt myself, eggs from chickens I've raised, and vegetables I grew are really it unless i go to a family dinner for a holiday. So I went to Las Vegas and ate at a buffet that was legendary. Everyone claims it's the best food and I recalled seeing it on TV. The food didnt make me sick and I didnt over eat but something about the beef caused my body to bloat and I just felt gross for the rest of the day. A lean, medium rare, grilled steak mind you. Not anything drenched in sauce. Have you had a similar experience? Or do you cook for yourself a lot?
I would say we cook un processed 95% of the time, so no. As for travelling, I too gain weight on the road it's very frustrating, particularly as we are on the road a great deal..
@@Steve-Owens that's where a vacuum sealer comes in handy. I vacuum seal everything. I'll bring bags of chili and keep them frozen in the hotel room, or venison sausages or any number of other tasty homemade meals I can fit in a bag and freeze. Cant fly with them but for trips on trains or by car the vacuum sealer is a God sent little machine.
The urine treatment works because the urea softens the dandruff skin plaques (they are not always fungus, only if they have sat a while and gotten infected) and allows them to fall off and the softer skin underneath is revealed. Many skin products for certain skin conditions contain urea.
Great video with Miriam Lancewood. She is my superhero women and the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen. I am 55 yrs old, a mother and a grandmother. I have surfed most of my life. I would love to go with her and group of other women on an expedition.
Killing meat sucks but it's very important to appreciate the suffering experienced from mass slaughter. Secondarily, when you do it yourself, you can't run from that reality. It IS cruel. But cruelty is a part of life that you cannot escape. Even if you personally refrain from ever hurting anything ever, even when you need to, nature will continue without you. Good/evil becomes barely a shadow of what it's intended to describe. The best way you could cherish that life you want to protect is to be within it and be it. Come to a peace about the world for the time you're here.
Im vegan and i completely understand Miriam. I have a bountiful Verity of food for me to choose, but living in the wild is different. I chose veganism because i dont approve of the treatment the animal are raised and killed in, i think its too much, and too harmful to the planet. However, by living in the wild, you respect the animal, you do it yourself and no more than you need. I respect that and think Miriam is a wonderful human.
Good point and in truth, to think plants don't have life is somewhat blinkered.. I struggle with veganism, If you die alone in a field there are few animals that won't eat you, cats, dogs, snails, ants, foxes, chickens, in fact all birds, rabbits, badgers, pigs, I struggle to think of a mammal that won't nibble at you. So better to make efforts to care for your food supply than fight nature.. Just my thoughts..
A very interesting interview. When I was married in the 70s, we ate a lot of wild meats (deer, moose, bear) or "strange" meats such as beef tongue and heart. They were quite delicious if cooked right... or really horrible if they weren't. LOL I add a bit of vodka to my shampoo just before washing my hair and it really helps overcome the bad water. Then I shampoo and as a final rinse, use vinegar. I haven't used cider vinegar, but will give it a try to see how it works on my hair. Also, I always add a cup or so of white vinegar to the rinse cycle of my wash because we have horrible water.

Possibly not Christina, they don't tend to do Footage, Peter and Miriam don't have Cameras or anything Electric, that's the Beauty of their lives, but they are well and happy.. Steve
Baking soda is good for the scalp, wet the scalp and hair, and massage the Baking soda onto scalp, wash off. Do this if necessary several times and the natural oils will return. Good wishes, enjoy nature and deep ecology.
In another interview she said there’s a river and she washes herself. There is evidence that not using sanitary products lessens the length of a period significantly so maybe that’s what she’s experienced as well.
@@drayner2517 Interesting... I assume handling her period is probably less problematic than washing hair, considering her honestly she would mentioned a note if it causes any difficulties.
It's not the oriental way. We don't move to the forest to kill animals. She may have her own explanation. But running the reverse process of civilisation and running to the wild to find peace is possible in New Zealand but in India it's not possible. Forest and wildlife is state protected. And I should raise the question why the media is glorifying young and beautiful Miriam and her 64 year old husband Mr. Peter is kept in the dark.
What i don't understand is why they don't build a cabin or a cave and grow their fruits and vegetables buy few chikens so they can have eggs. If it was me would be the envy of everyone for i am very skilled
I really dislike how he says 'you are a little bit crazy' just because I have always considered myself to be a bit more wild as well- and it was comments like that which make you doubt your decisions. The difference is that Miriam is not only strong physically - but strong minded
