Copilot Pro subscribers now get the opportunity to build their own Copilot GPTs inside Copilot, similarly to the capabilities we've had to built GPTs inside ChatGPT for a while.
But what is a GPT? What can it do? How does it work? How does it compare to ChatGPT's similar options? And how does this experience compare to the customization available to Copilot for Microsoft 365 subscribers?
Whether you're a Copilot Pro subscriber, ChatGPT Plus subscriber, or you're licensed for Microsoft 365 Copilot, this information may be valuable to you!

Excellent content thanks Nick. This is such a refreshing perspective on the overwhelming volume of information from Microsoft we are all trying to grapple with. Looking forward to more content like this

Very nice! Do you think or do you have any information if this will also come to Copilot for Microsoft 365? So we dont need the Copilot Studio for this? I whould love this.

Thanks for watching. No, there’s nothing that I’m aware of that suggests that is the plan, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we do see such an experience come to the business side as I think it would make Copilot extensibility much more accessible to the average user.

Hi Nick, thanks so much - I really like your videos!! I was thinking, could you maybe make a ChatGPT vs Copilot for M365 comparison video? We are using both tools right now as a company and are wondering what way we should pursue. And I hear that from many other companies as well. The integration of Copilot is good and helpful, but the functionalities of ChatGPT in terms of the (mobile) application and simply the fluency of work (with less errors and misunderstanding) is still better in ChatGPT. And from my perspective, prompting in ChatGPT just provides me with better results because I tend to focus more on the prompt process instead of jumping to a „quick & dirty“ result. I would really be interested in your view on this! Thanks and keep going 🚀

I’m a former IT worker, and I see how this is very leverageable for managing meetings and project outlines. Bounding the responses to already produced artifacts would be great.
I just thought of a use case. What about sourcing from a single web site? Can the answers be reduced to just the rules presented and the commentary presented, the way you refer to books? Would that be just a “regular” behavior?
Side comment: I can see tons of ideas here, but not being able to have a pro account with that secure flare seems counterintuitive to a “pro” label for a home use that already pays a monthly family fee.

A single website is one of the core capabilities of Copilots created in Copilot Studio, these GPTs are a bit more limited. Thanks for watching.

Shouldn't code interpreter have been turned on on the ChatGPT comparison @ 10:21 . Otherwise, thanks very much for this insightful video.

Thanks for watching. No, AFAIK when you are using a file in the context of a GPT there is no need for code interpreter, even though this is the feature ChatGPT would use to analyze the file if you just directly uploaded it as part of your prompt. Based on the result we got in the demo, I think this worked as planned, therefore I would add code interpreter to a GPT if I specifically wanted that feature in the system's reasoning over my prompt content.

Copilot has the potential to completely dominate but is evasive or refuses to provide answers, it's infuriating when paying for a model that gets pwned by 7b open source offerings. Copilot couldn't or wouldn't guide on setting up Copilot Studio, said its accessed through Azure, then apologised for its mistake, then said it didn't have information on that, yet has access to the web. MS seriously need to change Copilots attitude settings, it's enough to abandon MS completely and use Linux

I think the position of "paying for a model" is one of the biggest areas of confusion as access to AI tools expands. Both ChatGPT and Copilot use exactly the same models, Copilot Pro and ChatGPT Plus both cost the same, but the responses you get from GPT-4 under Copilot are significantly different than those under ChatGPT - why? We have no idea what system prompts any company is using to wrap up the requests we're making. Also remember, that no one else other than Microsoft currently has an option for AI in app in the way we see in M365. Personally, I use ChatGPT for AI chat and Copilot in M365 for in-app experiences.
