I tried to assist a low soft roader out of hot inland track sand. Could not get sand out from wheels without more sand filling the hole / struggled getting any angle on the trax as it was low and sitting on its belly. They did however assist with a front snatch that allowed the car to once up get on top off. Wheel spin is a killer as the knobs melt like butter. Tip- etiquette is bring your own gear and others will assist and at least know where your hook point is and fit prior to attempting tracks if you are in a soft roader
wish i'd known about these, made the mistake of keeping my corolla while living up in the mountains. all is well on flat ground but i've gotten stuck in a couple of situations where i just couldnt get traction.
Man I’ve been trying to find this video for the last week. I definitely needed this on my adventure to Silverstar Washington USA I have a 2007 Toyota sienna all-wheel-drive minivan and I had got high centered on hard 4 feet of snow.
Nice but waaay over priced, I get can similar item for 100 bucks, these are Atleast 300 !!! They need to work on pricing, I understand you get what you pay for but that is still waaay to high.
Red pilled patriot You can buy the x-bull branded ones on eBay for $65 or best offer with free shipping. Nothing but 5 star reviews on them with pics of them actually being used. They are nearly identical in every way other then color to these, and no recovery strap. Comes with a zippered storage bag which is nice
How far did you have to walk to retrieve them ? And why are you showing a video with no tyre deflation 18 psi would of done that hard beach sand easy Max trax are a complete waste of money and time FFS
Good Video, there so many people who don't know how to use maxtrax, I have never seen anyone use them correctly Thanks for posting the video.
That's rovers natural habitat right there . Glad to see him using his rover the right way
Great video you showed how to properly use them .
Hey great R&D man. Seriously. I appreciate it.

This guy is the Steve Irwin of off-roading

Good and informative...
Thank god the owner got those aftermarket tail lamps. Really helped him offroad.
Those aren't aftermarket. It's the euro market taillamps for this vehicle.
@@TheBowerbird Now I hate them even more.
Any tips on doing this in very wet mud?
Those massive spare tires underneath this Discovery. What a pain in the neck.
Great video
VW Amaroks limit the torque in reverse gear. Q: Could this prevent the maxtracks working if stuck in sand or mud? Any Amarok owners had this issue?
Maybe you can repogram that?
You know you’re Canadian when you mistake the sand for snow
Thank you.
Está muy bueno el invento ,y saludos al bello país de Australia ,desde mí bello país costa Rica, pero de haber tenido una Tacoma eso no ubiera pasado
good video mate.
great vid, what do you think about cheap ones? I only really drive on sand or salt. I know you get what you pay for however Trax are very pricey!!
Carpet strips work for me
I got Chinese ones (Unity). They have done its job very well in Costa Rican mud. Nothing beats a winch tho.
Good vid ta
I need this😀
Good video.
I reckon start buy not using road tyres on the sand. Get some off road tyres if you're going to go off road.
What are those tyres that you have on the D4
That vehicle wasn’t stuck to begin with
Will these work with awd
Yes
"break your maxtracks.or rip your tyre up" - honestly, tyres are prolly cheaper then the max tracks
funny how it slip of the back once to started to drive off
Lower your tier pressure
Does this works on mud?
Andres Zentay
Yes, just remember mud is slick so be careful.
Get a landcruiser and you wont need this product
That is a camera trick. It did not show the tyre go from in sand to being on the track. AND THAT IS THE DIFFICULT PART.

a lot of the cheaper boards break when bridging. They're a newer company and have to pay for tooling too
Sand in Australia looks like cooking flour lol.

I like them, but the price is WAY too expensive for a glorified piece of plastic. Come on, $300 U.S. ?!?
Great! Now that you got your rover unstuck, go trade it in on a Toyota!
The vehicle of choice for terrorists everywhere! Must be a sign it's pretty idiot proof if nothing else! :D
Probably 2 or 3 Toyotas.
There will always be the one.......!!
Can't, blew the heads.
Tells you to go easy.
Floors it and hauls ass out of the sand.
