    I went to Istanbul in Nov 2019, and once eat baklava... I regret it because I only eat once, and now I could't found baklava here in Indonesia... And can't go back to Istanbul too due to pandemic... So sad, I really want to eat baklava again 😭

      you can order from the imam cagdas website, the shipping is a bit pricey (not extreme) but the prices are cheap because it's in turkish lira (which is super weak atm).

      Bare hands are actually more hygienic once clean (less chances for cross contamination) & allows for better kneading & fat & flavour incorporation

      They bake it and then pour melted sugar over it. What kind of bacteria could survive such temperatures?
