- In this video I review and walk though Orchestral Tools' sample library Metropolis Ark 2, as well as host an inside look and breakdown of "The Upward Call", the official demo I composed for this library.

I like to say, that 2 things that i love about this.
Metropolis Ark 1 is the personality of Louder, Bold, and Epic, while Metropolis Ark 2 is the personality of Delicate, Symphonic, and Dark.
Both of them are actually good for me.

I've stumbled across this video at the perfect time as you sort of helped me understand a big thing my compositions have been missing - tempo variation. Thank you for the insight into your process and helping shed some light on something that's escaped my consideration!
Glad you got something out of it! Yeah, tempo fluctuations get overlooked a lot in computer produced music (and media music in general). Some of these reasons are practical, but some are just unecessary.

I’m looking for a 2 libraries and like yourself don’t need the ark 1 epic sound. I prefer movie drama that can go small to large. Apart from ark2 what would you recommend? I have been looking at spitfire abbey road but lacks legato. I also need solo instruments cello, violin. Thank you
