Love it . When my hair gets longer I’m going this! My hair is already curly. Thank you for the inspiration.

Considering that straight hair isn't easy to do this style on, you did a really good job.

At least you have a part, I buzzed all of my hair off and haven't had a part for 4 months. It's a straight bowl

Great tutorial! I got thick and straight hair which don't want to get curled in any way but my 13 years old's son hair are prone to get curled. I will try to help him to style elephant's trunk next weekend. BTW I don''t get why there are 18 dislikes?! You're doing a great job! :-)

Was about to say, with this hairstyle it's best to use hairspray.

Reggae Llama That's true but I usually put hairspray in last after doing all the steps shown here, but to save time I didn't add hairspray in the video; it's quite self explanatory where to apply the hairspray

It's a vent brush if I'm not wrong. Great video by the way.

MrKuwaitwolf vent brushes have vents hence the name the brush he’s using is closer to a denman styling brush. Not a huge difference though. They more or less do the same job

Hi it not the best elephants trunk I've seen. It probably would be better with no partings. Brush your sides back or blow some volume in your hair. With a,rounded brush put a curl left and right in your quiff and curl up the front. Then brush or comb the hairs together. This should make a cylinder kick a trunk but you may have a hole at the frontike a tube. That why you curl up the front hairs. Then it needs, setting inplace. It will take lots of times of styling before you're used to and satisfied with the style. For an example see UA-cam Teddyboy hairstyles. There's a film of a barber, styling an elephants trunk.

You have failed to acknowledge the fact that there is no one-method-fits-all. If you paid attention, at the beginning I said that my hair naturally parts no matter what - this video caters to a particular, more difficult hair type, and also shows how to do a trunk if your hair naturally parts. It's not like everyone can hold a full slickback without it splitting in the middle or sides.
I don't need you to mansplain everything to me when I've seen a good portion of trunk tutorials, and that any man and his dog can find the video you're talking about. I've just engineered a way to do what works for me and others in a similar boat.
