  • Bonus video, my daughter filmed this, it's unedited, a bit of fun. I'm a single Dad, this is me & my daughter riffing whilst I fit a transformer into a Tek 585A scope.
I hope you like this fly on the wall type video.

I thought something had happened to your voice for a second there! : ) that was fun to watch. I feel your pain lifting that heavy scope, good luck with the testing.

Oi Oi Miss "M" fun camera work. Glad to see you get the iron into the scope Andy. Hopefully the scope will work as it should. You put one heck of a lot if work into rewinding that transformer.
Good luck on the first fire up! (Hopefully no fire involved).

I'm using one of those Tek transformers in an SE amp, it's a seriously heavy beast indeed...

In a SE amp, what are the OP valves 3CPX800A7's? Glad to see it's getting some use. TFW.

@@diabolicalartificer It's a KT88 circuit. I may be trying another design with 807s. Those old Tek scopes are great. I used to have a 547, but it was too big for my space, so sold it on, with some regret....

A successful joint effort - no way you could have filmed and lugged that transformer and scope around at the same time. The 'modesty' editing made me laugh! Good work
