What a day out! Even without the parkrun we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for the amazing company and for pacing me 👌 and telling me to slow down every time i got a bit too giddy. I am eternally grateful 🙏 Can't wait for the next meet up. 💙
It really was more like a day out with a parkrun thrown in. My favourite kind of day. So glad you smashed it mate, hope that buzz stays with you and drives you to your next goal which I can’t wait to follow along on along with Becky’s. Top day, top company, glad you got to meet Andy and same, can’t wait for the next one 😊
Cheers Craig. Huge well done on a superb run - paced to perfection. Well done also to Mandy on another great time. Comfortably inside 40 mins so all good. Really nice to meet up with friends, that’s what ParkRun is all about. Self driving pram was cool. I was once overtaken during a marathon by a guy pushing a double buggy, complete with two passengers. He was going for the double buggy marathon world record and ran sub 3. Thanks again.
Cheers Colin, folks that run with prams are next level bonkers. No idea how they do it, I trip up over my own feet lol It was a cracking morning meeting everyone there and a successful one too. Thank you for watching etc as always mate 🥰
Thanks Dean I’m really happy with how it went, kept him enough in the tank to zoom off ahead smash 25, i am so proud of him for it. Every time Mandy reports a sub 40 I am over the moon for her and I’m sure that’ll soon be sub 35 😉🤩
Thanks mate much appreciated 😊 he did a great job just keeping it consistent and keeping some in the tank so he could press the accelerator in the last bit know he’d get a kick. I thought if I stuck to 25 and he started to flag he’d be fine so long as I didn’t pass him but clearly not the case he was a rocket 🚀
@@sagsdothedu absolutely agree, I’m well excited for him. The chest hasn’t fully cleared still wheezy but I’m hoping milder conditions might help in the coming weeks. Hope you’re over it all now it’s been a ghastly few months!
What a great morning! Great to meet Matt & Becky for the first time and great social in the cafe afterwards😀Great work Craig on the pacing, and all Matt’s training paid off - or did it? You’ll have to wait for his video😉 My time, something 30, and tons better than the last visit when I did 5.6kms in error😂
It was the best morning Andy, thank you for coming along and being a part of it. And a great job on the run, proper chuffed about your time, a great indicator 😉. The social in the Cafe was a complete highlight and of course getting to meet Diane too 🥰
Brilliant stuff! Well done Matt and Craig (weren't you two in Bros in the 80's? :) ) The elevation profile made it look like there were mountains on the course lol.
Haha yeah the elevation thing zoomed in makes pancake flat look like the three peaks 😂 should have done something with it but it makes it look like we worked even harder 😂😂

Haha 😂 I'd better get training some more then 😁 either that or some roller skates haha 🤣 x
Well ran Craig - and Matt! He drifts away at 20 mins because of the great pro pacing 😊

@ yes his last kilometre split suggests even faster possible. Commence project sub-24🤓. Hope you’re over the lingering illnesses?
