  • I thought I’d make a video showing the potential for using the autoglym 3 stage wash process, polar blast, polar wash and polar seal, using just an IK Foam Pro 2+. It turned out to be really fun and provided great results. Just a little more manual than normal. Great if you don’t have a snow cannon. Hope you enjoy. Thanks for watching as always and don’t forget to check out my other videos. A like and subscribe would be greatly appreciated. Helps me to grow the channel. Thanks again.

Thanks mate. Long story short. When I had my wheels refurbished. The centres looked really tired. I struggled to find genuine centres for sensible money so bought generic logo wheel centre prints off of eBay. They were about £8 4 years ago. Worked a treat and lasted about 4 years. I think one recently came unstuck. Anyway. For the money. You can’t go wrong. I’ll re do mine again soon. One piece of advise if you do it. Lacquer them first. Then the finish lasts longer. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Appreciate it.

Quick question how difficult would it be to use just one foamer for different solutions… wheels, pre wash, and car shampoo… I wouldn’t want to get 3 different foamers

Hello. Not too much drama at all really. They take 30 seconds to wash out. Having a sprayer and a foamer is nice. Then you can get prepped indoors, pumped up ready to go. I think if I was going to have just one, I’d probably have the multi sprayer. They’re great for citrus pre wash or rinse less pre soak. So maybe just edges it in terms of versatility. Having said that if you simply must have foam and don’t have a foam cannon, then of course. The foamer is the way to go. Wheel cleaner, citrus pre wash etc can be delivered with a standard sprayer no drama and shampoo can just be in a bucket. Also. If you really want to save on equipment. Just use ONR. It’s incredible. You can wash inside, outside, glass and wheels with one bucket full. Sorry for the short story. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for all the hard effort.
Now, repeat using the ik sprayer!😅
Genuinely would be interesting to see if polar blast can be done via a sprayer as Autofoam is equally effective with either tool.
Cheers, you've earned yourself a beer

I reckon the sprayer could do it too.

I love a challenge. I’ll do the fiesta at the weekend with the sprayer. If the weathers ok.

@@rev-you1975 good idea. Pick a smaller car to ik. I plan on suing ik for RSI.
Do you rate polar blast's cleaning power? If not, try adding 2-4% Autofoam? Surfex definitely works with 2 snow foams I have.

Too small for an entire car.

Hello. Sorry for the delayed response. I wasn’t too sure how to reply. I did do the entire car. Possibly a little too manual but if you have limited kit or no foam cannon this method yields similar results. Also. You can use a pump to pump up the foamer which lessens the manual aspect a little. Thanks for watching as always. Much appreciated. All the best.
