I have a 82 JR50 when you kick the bike sometimes it just slips, could the clutch be the problem ?
I wish I could just buy a fresh-end up engine.

Hey, I really like the video. I just had the clutch Cover off of my jr 50. But I can’t reassemble it, because the kickstart is always in a wrong position or something. So the kickstarter is very hard to push. Any Tips? Or can you show it to me in a video?

Yes, the kickstart return spring will not engage unless the shaft and the stopper are in the correct location in their cycle. Try loosening the big bolt that holds the stopper in place, but don't pull it out, you want it there to still catch the stopper as it comes around. Then use the kick start lever to rotate the shaft clockwise until it catches up in rotation with the stopper. You will have to rotate the shaft, then remove the kick start lever and raise it back up and rotate it more, until it goes around enough to catch. At that point your spring should be engaging and start to automatically return the lever upright after a kick. Once there, you can tighten that big bolt and it will hold it all in place. Hopefully that helps with your issue!
