~ About the project:
"Lost, The Other Soundtrack" is a project started with the love I feel for this epic tv show. My goal is to collect all this songs that appeared once in "Lost" because despite they aren't in the OST we remember they as well as we have memories of Michael Giacchino's music.

"Lost, The Other Soundtrack" es un proyecto iniciado con todo el amor que siento por esta épica serie de televisión. Mi objetivo es recoger todas las canciones que aparecieron alguna vez en "Perdidos" porque, a pesar de que no se encuentran en la BSO, las recordamos tanto como a la música compuesta por Michael Giacchino.

They made some beautiful episode ends back in season 1 and 2 and this was part of LOST's success. They had some great action in episodes but handled these kinds of sensitive scene so well. Miss watching this show air so much

It's so cool that Michael Giacchino scored Lost because he also did a few Pixar films.

You are right, Beyond the sea is the english interpretation of La Mer :) another movie you can here this song is at the end of the Mr Bean movie where he goes on vacation (can't remember the title)

I remember I stumbled upon a song by Bobby Darin called SOMEWHERE BEYOND THE SEA and was like wait, I’ve heard this tune before, on lost. Shannon sang this!!! I think I was listening to CALL ME IRRESPONSIBLE because of THE BATES MOTEL another favorite show of me… and then the other track played. Took me back to lost AGAIN… this show is special…. They don’t make them like this anymore.
This is the original 1946 version, later Frank Sinatra did in the 60s. Different lyrics tho.

Omg the end of this episode the song the piano part with kate looking at the airplane between her hands . Magnificent ! one of the best episodes endings. This scene stuck in my head since i was 9 . Now I'm 29

I love this scene, but it contains a huge gaff that drives me crazy. The French dub version of Finding Nemo does not use La Mer. It uses the English song, Beyond the Sea, which has entirely different lyrics.
