Sometimes, in order to finish my essays, I play playlists like these and pretend I'm writing the cure or the formula that will solve the issue that I'm writing my topic on. It's like I have all this knowledge on the subject, and I pretend like no one has ever thought about this topic the way I have. Very useful, thought I would share if you're currently in school :)
I did something like you did when I was an international student in the US. I took one required course which was difficult. Many American students withdrew from the class. I didn't have the luxury to withdraw from any course. So I made-believed I was an expert of the subject when I was doing my assignments and studying for my exams. Believe it or not, I got an A- for the subject. People were surprised with my grade too 😊

This is all I have ever wanted, to have a stable job and work on something I am passionate about. This music piece has always made me think about the kind of passionate effort great things require. this title is perfect, and so is this video i have big dreams, which would take far too long to explain. the first step, however, is to finish school with flying colors (I'm home-schooled so i can work way ahead) this video works wonders for me, i have over 100 pages to read and take notes on, six tests for math, three essays to start, and four to finish, as well as a semester project all of this needs to be done by the end of today in order for me to be on track to finish my deadline for all of this years school to be finished in nov 18th, if someone reminds me, i will let you know how that goes. from there, i will take a holiday break, and start a new year of school on Jan 2nd, and finish that year by may 3rd it's a lot of work, but i'm the only one who can do it. oh yeah, no one knows what i'm doing yet, they actually think i will drop out, or fail high-school because i've always been bad at getting my work done. so no one believes in me yet. :) wish me luck, m'kay? edit- i didn't make it, but i'm close, i'm hoping to finish freshman year by the 25th, tho that may be wishful thinking, sorry for the late update

When i was a kid studying in like 3rd or 4th grade(so i was about 10yrs old, am from Russia) my das showed me this movie. Later we in school had to write an essay about some famous person that we like, a person who we would like to become like and why. I still had fresh memories about this movie so i wrote an essay about Alan Turing saying that i want to be an epic mathematician like him and so on. My best friend of that time, on the other hand, wrote an essay about Terminator saying that he wants to be like him bc he was a master in killing people. Still remember the teacher reading his essay and roasting the poor guy in front of the whole class, but that was fucking hillarious
