I really need to finish this show. I’ve been stuck on episode 12 of season 2 for years. Show is great but when I heard the ending wasn’t that good I kind of lost interest 😅

Season two was by far the best, the tension and mystery at its peak and the time in the hatch really has so many classic moments in it. Favorite season opener I have ever seen, the song choice as usual for this show was simply stellar.
I agree I think season 3 was probably the weakest. Revealing the others to be just normal people for the most part was kind of a bummer. I was hoping for them to be a little more sinister and enigmatic while also being sophisticated.
Season 2 was so incredible because on top of everything going on with the island, you have this constant background issue of the time constraint with the hatch every 108 minutes. It’s such a simple concept but executed so well. It added urgency to every situation no matter how mundane in season 2 because every 108 minutes some shit would go down if the button wasn’t pushed!

I was in middle school; my moms house didn’t have tv so I would go to my dads place every Wednesday to watch LOST. I will never forget this moment seeing this when it debuted. Twists and turns just don’t hit the same as an adult. LOST will always hold a special place in my heart

I can still remember when I watched this. It was the first show I ever binge watched. It was before Netflix offered streaming, but all the seasons were on ABC's website for free. I could not stop watching this show, and this opener blew my mind. Still my favorite scene from the whole series.

LOST got a lot of flak but when it was good it was damn good. Michael Giacchino's music and top notch direction made for some of the most thrilling episodes of TV. What made it frustrating during the original run was having to sit through some of the pointless filler. Skipping through that now makes for a much better experience.

After Season 3, it all fell apart once the majority of fans realized that the writers didn’t have a long term plan. It REALLY sucks because the first couple seasons were amazing! But we (fans) caught on after a while.

And don't forget, Desmond arrives on the island during a sailing race. So he is trained to sleep during short times just like sailors. And he is also an ex soldier too. They learn to sleep a little when and where they can.
I didn’t start watching Lost until 5x03 (was caught up by that point binge watching). I can’t imagine having to wait until the next episode when this originally aired.
