I love love LOVE this. This is my philosophy after years of struggling with finding the right healthy habits that actually work for me. I think a good thing is just to keep it INTUITIVE. So much of our intelligence is linked to our intuition. I feel that if we can tap into it, it will completely change the way we think of health. Our bodies are wise beyond our minds, and following modern "wellness" culture will ultimately cause us to lead with our mind rather than trusting in our body's wisdom. I think the best approach is a marriage between what has been proven by science and also what feels natural to the body. Self improvement is great, but social media can cause a sort of pressure that can actually do more harm than good when it comes to wellness. The mindset should be gaining strength, peace, resilience, and joy. Trends will always come and go but you can never go wrong with listening to your own body's divine wisdom. 💗
I’m very impressed by your awareness and discernment of the conflicting health recommendations out there. As someone who works in healthcare, this is so refreshing and makes me admire you even more ❤
I loved this episode of yours. I've also gone through the stages of thinking from how to lose weight and get back into pre-baby shape to how my body needs to be strong to support function in old age. I also pay a lot of attention to balancing my hormonal system and reducing stress.😊
Where our youth and social media are concerned, this is the manner of “influencing” we need more of in our lives. Thank you, Valeria, for sharing the inner gifts you hold! x
Just got to the part where you spoke about appreciating all that your body can do, every day. It's an amazing perspective. When I was 18, I started having symptoms of an autoimmune disease while travelling. I've had over ten health conditions diagnosed since (now 35 years old), and my body often can't do all of the things that I want to. I REALLY appreciate the days without pain, and I don't think most people appreciate their bodies' abilities enough! Thank you for sharing your perspective with so many people, Valeria! ✨
Valeria, thank you for this video. The podcast is refreshing, and the advice is really practical-something everyone can learn from. We appreciate you and look forward to more content like this!
Thank you for this episode, I really needed it, especially about stress reduction. I feel like everyone on instagram is journaling and meditatating in the morning, and almost saying that you must to do this is in the morning otherwise you are looser :D I tried so many times to journal but it just not for me. I don't feel it, northing comes from me. And thank you for saying that yes, health is important but it also needs to be comfortable (as an example of lemon water)
Valeria you always talk about very interesting things! I’m a naturopath and I agree with you about the importance of a healthy life style. If I can suggest you some guests to talk to I’d surely say Gregg Braden or Bruce Lipton. They maybe are not very easy to reach but they cover very interesting and original topics
I also follow many older women who are living without rhe fear or almost curse spoken over women and their second half of life. I wamt to feel amazong too in my 40s, 50s, 60s,70s and beyond beyond ❤
Weight lifting is now a new trend. Everybody is talking about how important it is . As well as before, everybody was talking about the importance of cardio training. I believe that everyone should do what he really likes and enjoy without forcing himself to do something that other people think is beneficial for him.
It might be a trend, but the question is do I need it and why is it (or not) good for me? I think the most of us don't train because "we like it" but because it's healthy.
Maybe, but in my case, I really enjoy pilates and yoga. I feel my body strong enough. And will not practise weight lifting just because now it's trendy
@@yuliabukharovagretskikh1817 weightlifting is supposed to build muscle in order to both, have more strength and burn more calories (and boost body parts- of course, not the only method). I've heard for some time about pilates and other activities and I think most of them were at some point a trend. If you like what you are doing, it's great. I don't like any of it, but it's certainly beneficial. I do like what Valeria is saying, which is: find what YOUR body needs and what works best for you. But in the end, that is the rather difficult part, to have that level of objectivity to discern and choose correctly.
I am 32yo. I have one 17months old baby and even though my weight is higher than in my 20s, I feel much better and feel happier. Just because I eat better and regularly. And I have more energy and I dont even need to drink coffee. And also I want to be good role model to my child :-) regarding food ..

@anatra1037 My point of view is exactly the same: find something you like and do it. And it doesn't matter what is trendy now.

So glad to hear that! You’re going to be a great role model ❤
Have you ever tried Traditional Chinese Medicine? I am thinking about trying it because my doctor told me it might be affective for me.
