💪FIRE AS ALWAYS🔥🔥🔥
The “you’re worth a couple hundred grand and I’m worth millions” line is in reference to TI’s chorus on Rubberband Man
“Worth a couple hundred grand/chevys all colors man”
Good catch, I haven't listened to that song in a while. I forgot about the chorus.
Literally lmao “worth a couple hundred grand”
I like both but Luda definitely took the beef. Luda doesn't get the props that he fully deserves either. His ad-libs and punchlines are one of the best out there..
Go listen to Rubber Band Man and you’ll see why Luda said T.I. was only worth a couple hundred grand… it wasn’t a reference to his label name…
Someone actually commented about the chorus of Rubberband Man already. Either way it was a reference to T.I. however.
Facts. Rubberband man wild as the taliban. Worth a couple hundred grand
Their beef can be summed up in one bar…
“Please stay off the T.I.P of my diiiuuuuccckkk”😂😂😂

Luda is an absolute animal bruh. One of my all time favorites and completely underrated. This was a great video.. appreciate you.
Those ad-libs on War With God was just vicious man.
Luda took a victory lap with his feet in TI ass with that one.

There are two things I consider true amongst these two. Ludacris won the rap beef on wax, but King was a better album than Release Therapy.
If that's really how the beef started that's some stupid s***. They had to already dislike each other
@@commonsenseotis3360 I agreed.
"So pimpin be easy, quit catching feelings/
Cause you worth a couple hundred grand and I'm worth millions"
That last bar was referring to TI's Rubberband Man. In the hook he says "I'm the trouble man, always in trouble man/
Worth a couple hundred grand, Chevy's all colors man"
That Legendary Beef went No where it was O.V After Ludacris Verse On Young Buck's Record Stomp REMIX! & Luda was Smart for Switching Up Went From Rapping 2 Acting He Makes way More Money As A Actor..✅💯💯

Stomp was a hot song. I heard both versions of tha song n still thought it was hot, I knew where it was going cause at that time they both was my favorite rappers to listen to, luda went in after T.I punt off tha ball on his end n luda took off on nem, they got cool some time after that n made a ft on T.I paper trail
luda snapped t.i. seems like he wasn't really into the energy
The "couple hunid grand" mention by Luda was in reference to the hook on 'Rubberband Man'....
T.I always been my number 1 & that will never change
👎
Ludacris is very underrated as a MC. Luda definitely won this battle.
Ludas way more talented lyrically. I like a few TI songs but I feel almost any decent rapper could string those lyrics together
That couple hundred grand line came from the song rubberband man
Cool video, I was already familiar with how the beef got started but it was nice to hear it again. One area I highly disagree with you're perspective though is, Ludacris not being "from Atlanta", the place a person was born does not automatically equate them to being "from" that place. Luda not only spent his teenage and adolescence in Atlanta, but that's also where he got his start in music, he reps Atlanta because that's where his music background has foundation and the parts of his life that were more meaningful. So to say he isn't "from Atlanta", is just a goofy take. A better choice of words would've been "although he was not born in Atlanta"..... Birth equals born, but born doesn't always equals "from"
I hear ya. I'm only speaking from the facts of where the person was born. That's why I said that he "started his career there" so as far as Ludacris the DJ, rapper, etc. yea he's from Atlanta. It's not a goofy take, as it's not my opinion as I said before just facts of where he was born and wound up moving to and beginning his career. Just like 2Pac and Ice-T were born on the east coast but got their careers started in Cali for example.
T.I. was born in Harlem New York while Luda was born in Champagne Illinois
Wrong. Luda was born in Champagne Illinois, T.I was born and raised in Atl Georgia.
Tbh best down south beef ever nobody died got locked up and they was able to wash it and make music together they both won
These guys are two of my favorites from the south. I’m glad that they came together and talked it out like men and put that petty stuff to the side.
Luda the man. They sleep 💤 on him alot
straight facts
Everybody that around at that time know that T.I. and Luda beef started from T.I. and I-20 cause I-20 was mad he lost a freestyle battle on the radio to T.I.
I'm talking to you is one of my favourite TI tracks
@@dannydbrown90 man so underrated
That buck album was 🔥🔥🔥
Luda won that battle but musically, I think T.I. has the upper hand
That War With God record is a monster!!
luda moved to atlanta when he was 9 not a teenager, wikipedia isnt always accurate he was raised in atlanta therefore he’s from there, however the beef was a stalemate they are both still loved in the city
no different then gucci moving there when he was 9 or savage when he was 7, they were all raised there, so theyre from there
Yea several of them weren't born there.
@@OneStopHipHop811 exactly my point and its like that for multiple cities, kanye and chicago, dolph and memphis, wiz and pittsburgh, but where they raised is where they from
Bruh, we are not going to talk about "tell me what you mad for" when luda went in on TI (and Push going in Cash Money)
No mention of Ti and I-20
I really like both! I didn’t realize they were beefing!😢
It was years ago. AFAIK, they're cool nowadays.
T.I : real niggas know the difference between you and this, me getting beatdown thats Ludacris...
I knew Luda was coming

On the Stomp track.
Luda changed his verse after hearing T.I. verse.
T.I. had the better verse.
Luda verses will still wash most these rappers even now

I have not heard stomp with the game in it I have only heard the vision with both t.i & Luda
People bringing up Luda not being from Atlanta is so whack to me. That man did more for Atlanta during it's early reign than the majority of Atlanta rappers.
What's wrong with acknowledging where someone was born?
Ti I'm talking to you was a diss track towards Beanie Sigel.
Luda War with gods the beginning of that song was aimed at Chingy you can hear him saying Chingy name in the background in the ad lives. Overall good careers for both artists. Luda last album went under the radar TI last album is way overdue

There's a few songs. I'll name 1 though. "About the Money" featuring Young Thug. He had less hit songs but you'd really chalk that up to Drake? That happens to almost every artist that's popular in hip hop who has been in the game for years.
The couple hundred grand line is reference to rubber band man
Damn Luda not really from Atlanta hurts my 💔 😅

I like them both. Both had the south on lock
They were taking shots WAYYYYYY b4 stomp
I just to went to a Luda concert featuring Ti this past Saturday..Ti opened up had no mentions for Luda.. Luda came to close and no mentions to him either lol they have two songs together they could’ve of atleast preform one together
This was one I was hurt by because while I liked both I fucked with TIP way more. It really didn't need to go past Stomp because everybody already decided Luda won fr lmao
My personal perspective is Luda won this beef Lyrically, But because Luda is not a street artist, N TI was the newest best thing on the rise at the time, we in GA, marked Luda as a Lame rapper after this. No cap.
So basically it was just rap beef
That’s not “the first shot”. TI subbed Jermaine Dupri and Ludacris on the song called “In The A” on one of the PSC In Da Streetz mixtapes. TI was also subbing Ludacris on Trap Muzik album. “All you rap n!66az ‘ROLL OUT’ I trap when it’s cold out” Trap Muzik intro. He was subbing him on the song “I Can’t Quit” on Trap Muzik album too.
See now i gotta go back and listen to it because i never peeped it
Like both of them but Luda won this. His verse on Stomp was dope and War With God is an overlooked diss track.
Unpopular opinion: they should've did that on their own albums don't diss each other on someone else's song without them being on board or least not liking either or of them two they're great don't get me wrong legends even i just thought it was a time and place. My opinion of course
I agree.
Come to Texas 😂😂😂😂😂 that bih gone cook in 30 minutes
Luda bodied tip, you missed some disses on war with god.
I fuck with them both. Been rockin with them since i’ve heard their first albums. And yes I enjoyed I’m Serious. This was one battle that was hard to choose to me and I was relieved as fuck when they squashed it 😂😅
Luda killed that man
How did he forget to mention Luda verse on I need Boss .... im boss of all bosses King of All Kings ... im ya favorite rappers idol I been had the title call me hot 16 with more verses then the Bible 🔥🔥🔥🔥
faith made issues where that are nothing more then in your own mind.
You think you can do enj vs knicks you mad cuz im styling on you
TI arms to short to 🥊 with Luda
Their "beef" started WAY before Stomp.
What caused it tho?
I always thought it was due to TI started calling himself "king of the south" before he really blew up
It started with T.I. and I20. I20 was at an Atlanta radio station talking how big he was and nobody could see him on the mic…T.I. called in and they had a rap battle. They left it up to the listeners to judge who won and T.I. Won…that’s where the tension started. Luda and T.I. Eventually started taking shots simply because both groups were rising and those two were the head of their camps. They took shots at each other for years on wax before Stomp. I’m not going to go through all of them but an example of how far it goes back…T.l’s “Never Scared “ verse (Bonecrusher) was about Luda and I20.
@@Balller133 *BRUH....so Luda went in on T.I for his homie all because homie talked smack and T.I crushed him!?* Shiiidddd. 🤣

Tbh I don’t know a lot of rappers that wanted any smoke with Luda at that time even today !!!!! T.i.
