If I’m going on a road trip all around the United States and let’s say it’s 12,000 miles. The average gas price will probably be around $3.50/g. I also get somewhere around 25mpg. How much should I be looking at spending?
I’m actually planning a trip from the Tulsa adjacent area to Maine and maybe hitting up Canada for fun. Gonna need to save a lot if I wanna detour to Canada but it’s about $700 so maybe saving $1000 will give me a good cushion, more if I do decide to detour to Canada.
Have a great time! From Traverse City to Newark it's 1700mi round trip, so you can bet on about 75 gallons of gas at 23mpg. That'll run you about $400 on gas.
My pleasure. If you don't have an app like Gas Buddy, I recommend integrating something like that as well that helps you find the best rate in the area you're driving!

$1,000 should put you in great shape! - just as long as prices don't go up too much between now and then. They should, in theory, skyrocket in 2023.
Thank you going for michigan to nj trip and gas starting off will be $5.19

lol I can say I've never been! I'll keep that in mind :)
You should definitely not go to Tulsa. Tulsa is the worst in Oklahoma. It’s like New York.
haha, I've still never been!
