Sitting in his mansion. I'm sure he's worried. They're just creating content too. I'm sure he would see games different to the way we do. The only time we have is down time. So it cuts into our life when someone ramp rams us. Summit plays for a living, so it's just content to him. I think so anyway.
@loneventhorizon I'm not sure what a mansion has to do with anything. Just because he's a streamer and it's technically content doesn't mean he isn't human and wouldn't get frustrated after being killed repeatedly, nor would that automatically equate to good content. In fact, if all he's doing is getting sniped, wouldn't that be more reason to move to another game after a certain point? It wouldn't be good "content" to the masses. I'm sure as a streamer, you get used to being sniped, but still, I'd think it has to remain frustrating. I think Summit genuinely likes the game enough to push past it, which is awesome to see.

Some people are desperate for attention
When a larger streamer plays this kind of game, especially summit (who would be perfect for it, seeing his GTA RP stuff), the devs just need to be on that stream insta-perma banning these idiots who try to ruin the stream. It makes it worse for everyone--no one wants to watch someone waste another 15mins just to get in their ship and fly, over and over.

Usually you'd have gamemasters for that but due to SC's alpha development they don't really have a dedicated team. I do know that there was an admin on his server though and at least one guy got banned.
I think sc did ban stream snipers for summit. Sc has a lot of money into it and doesn’t want to lose its players. Picture spending $200+ on a game to get Bm constantly. Let alone $1,000 ships.

But seriously, some games simply can not be played on stream, that goes for most open world MMOs
Streamers need to understand that. There is always the option to play on your own, record it and stream that and talk over it
There's no other way to make SC content that doesnt disolve into constant outright PvP madness.
If you want that in your stream, great but let's not pretend that CIG can do something, other than maybe creating a special instance for uber popular streamers or community partners of theirs.
while yes he might have been stream sniping, he didnt pad ram. CIG's definition of pad ramming means that you have to be touching the pads.

Its an excellent daily driver with some pretty solid capabilities. Over 30 size 3 missiles and its primary weapons are actually pretty dope. It flys like the gunship that it is. Slap some cannons on and don't be afraid to use all of your missiles. Decent bounty hunter, decent for getting to bunker mission and can transport some contraband if you manage to stumble across any.
If you can get over its limited visibility you can get alot of shit done, no questions asked.
It's funny, ive been watching every night as Summit Plays Star Citizen. Hes basically going through all of the things that we go through when we start playing. On top of this hes a streamer, I just hope he understands... Its not you... Its the game 😆When shit goes wrong and the game pulls a fast one on you... My genuine reaction is... I remember that happened to me! All in all when things do go right in this game the moment is priceless, it hits our memories different then other games. Everything you have to work for, its a bit to much but they are working on making the game better constantly. I believe the rate of improvement has sped up a lot, as I've been here for years and its almost felt like it would take 1 year for any real update.

3.23 made the game SO MUCH better
Should turn on and get used to Lag Pips rather than Lead Pips. Will help you keep your nose ahead of the target in combat/stay on tail better

I hope they fix Claimjumper missions. New update completely broke them, you get crimestat for destroying the orbital sentries xD
You might want to consider a flight stick or a full setup. It's more fun to fly with those. There are some good and inexpensive options as well. I use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, which is a decent flight stick for the price, even though it looks like ass. But it's more fun to fly around with it than with a mouse and a keyboard.
Mouse and a keyboard can be more effective and accurate though, that's what I've heard anyway, so there's that... Oh, and double sticks can also be a way to go. Some players swear by those.
edit: And the stream snipers are probably Sea of Thieves karma. Nothing to take too seriously.

Though I feel I should point out that stream sniping is against both the Twitch, Google, and CIG Tos.

When we get our first gamer president, we're going to make stream-sniping a felony offense with mandatory jail-time + referral to a therapist.
What Summit really needs is for one of these pro-flying guilds to teach him. I KNOW he could get some real fun out of this game if he can learn how to fly, I found using joysticks really ups the fun-factor. Star Citizen is a nightmare to control even if you've played it in the past. Lots of stuff to fiddle with to get controls that make sense.

Ramming an active streamer is called "Stream Sniping" and is a bannable offence. Contact support.
Pad ramming period is bannable, attacking any streamer by gaining access to them through information on stream is also punishable.

Mass effect with the travel of this game would be insane, that's kinda the whole reason I was so interested in what SC was trying to be in 2013. It was MMO mass effect

That’s right, there is no way. He played this for two weeks and as I understand it is still playing 3.23
A group of friends, UA-camr/Streamers voluntarily went and helped summit, they became summits private guards from the toxic stream snipers.
They guarded summit while he's doing his quests.. The toxic stream snipers couldn't reach summit at this point, so their desperation move was to nuke the place where the guards and summit were.
Fun thing is the main stream sniper got banned from that server. Idk bout his friends though. Toxic stream sniper b1tch3d at the admins that they banned him w/o reasons, and no replies from his messages. Also said that the guards were pvp harassing him, why is it that the guards aren't banned. And also said that this incident gave him stress and depression.
*This is as much as i can remember on top of my head, of what happened. So please, this isn't 100% accurate.

This is why you should not fly in 3rd person unless your trying to get beauty shots in a wide open area.
Ppl ramming you is crazy cause if reported for ramming in safe zone they could legit get banned it's one of the things CIG hate
I didn't even know it was possible to be this bad at flying, especially on mouse and keyboard. Imagine if the was using HOSAS.
He was trying to fly in 3rd person which is infinitely harder with MnK due to the fact that you cant see the position of cursor (forget its name) that controls pitch and yaw speeds. He seemed to do just fine in 1st person.
This as fun to watch lol, fuck those griefers, its crazy how you played this just before the big update so everything is kind of new now.

Its gonna be really fun when all these streamsnipers (meaning, nonstop pad ramming and attempting to repeatedly insta-gib a streamer, without playing the game "as intended" or simply engaging in normal combat), realize that this is a bannable offence according to CIG's own rules.
Have fun getting your $500 account banned because you wanted to trollolol a streamer. xD
Now, it has to be said that, for new people wondering wtf im talking about.
You will NOT ever be banned by CIG as a normal player, no matter if you hunt and kill streamers, obviously.
They dont have an invisible aura of privelege and protection.
What i'm talking about is if you literally wait outside the hangar, over and over again, pad ramming the same person (streaming or NOT, but way easier to collect evidence as a streamer) for the sole purpose of "harassing" them.
That is bannable. Same thing if you get your whole org to target 1 person over and over again (we're talking 10+ times, interrupting their normal gameplay, not just trying to pirate them)
If you're just playing as normal and you fly around starting to pew pew a streamer, nothing gonna happen, its part of the open world pvp.
If you once or thrice wait for a streamer at an outpost, then start blasting, nothing gonna happen.
Its all fair game. If you play the game for the purpose of playing, not ONLY streamsniping / padramming.
This is before 3.23 and not an accurate representation of the state of the game they just had a massive update overhauling: lighting engine, graphics, Game UI (including moviglass), new minimap (and full scale map), new guns rebalanced, improved performance included added DLSS and FSR options and Vulkan beta, completely reworked and new ship combat system known as mastermodes, completely reworked EVA (no more faceplanting onto space platforms or going into ship hangars or ships it's smooth and dare I say it just works)... I can clearly see summit is posting old footage cause that's the old UI i'm uncertain as to why but maybe do another vid if you havent already cause this is old and bust SC you need to try show the new hotness!

The second content creator that made a video on SC just before 3.23 launched... Fruit did one 4 days ago. This is just such terrible timing, since 3.23 has brought an absolute asston of QoL features that make the game unrecognizable, in a good way. Hope summit finds time to update and try again at some point.

Dude ramming you at the beginning was funny and if that man child had just left it at that it would have been fine but to literally go as far as to follow him across the Galaxy via stream sniping is literally brain rot levels of desperation.
Its crazy to me that he is trying to fly in third person. That is camera mode brother, you're not meant to play the game in third person at all actually and eventually they will entirely remove the "camera mode" feature.

Too bad for them, pretty sure Summit and his audience would have loved regular pirate semi RP event going on.

Sure it looks cool and feels alright sometimes but it's nowhere near the "fly everywhere and do anything" game that was originally promised. I mean elite is boring too but they gave you a full galaxy to explore like they promised

pad/hangar ramming is not a super uncommon occurence. great to hear it hasnt happened to you but ive had it happen to me around 6 or so times and just about anyone i know has had it happen atleast once
