I know this is a hot take, but I really love Son Of The Mask.
I developed a weird affliction with it last year when I dislocated my shoulder and was stuck at home.
Just has that great 2000’s nostalgic feeling as someone born in 2002, and it had so much potential if the PG 13 cut released instead.
I have the DVD too! And watched the deleted scenes and directors commentary. I hate that WB cut it down to PG.
Hope we see Larry’s director cut of the film someday…. That would be great.

I don't care what anyone says about Son of The Mask Jamie, i love it and i think it's a Masterpiece in my Opinion, you are an awesome Mask and i Love your Shiny Purple Suit toward the end lf the movie, plus i Love Alan Cumming's Loki he's badass, plus i Love Traylor Howard she's the Hottest one in the Movie,
Son of The Mask deserves a 4K Disc Remaster it should be a Cult Classic

@@angelfromda8138 I know right same here, I wish Jim Carrey would give us a Mask 2 after he finishes Sonic The Hedgehog 3 before he retires, he did Sequels to Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber but he still hasn't done The Mask 2

Have you even seen The Mask? Son of the Mask was a piece of sh** movie which ruined careers and a franchise! The Mask could have been a franchise which could have caused havoc in the marvel universe! It was so bad that we’re stuck with Deadpool instead! This movie sucked so bad that we didn’t even get a sequel for The Mask. The Mask was a masterpiece. That movie is still rewatchable till today! Son of the mask ruined all of it, and it also ruined these talented actors’ careers. I love Jamie Kennedy! Loved his series, loved both the first Scream movies… He is without a doubt one of the most talented actors out there but that stupid excuse of a movie, Son of the Mask ruined so many things its unbelievable!

So this is the man that ruined The Mask II? Loved that show when I was young… I don’t consider Son Of The Mask Canon… The Mask I was one of the best movies ever made, maybe it was hard to unshine it, it had such a high standard, but still the second one was very disappointing…
Son of The Mask is one of the best worst movies ever! It really shows what happens when studios get overly involved in the creation.
I hated this stupid movie.. your careers where doing great.. I absolutley loved you in Scream 1 & 2, and they’re the best 2 movies in the Scream franchise to date. The Mask was an awesome movie and everyone had high expectations, but even without The Mask 1, the mask 2 still sucked… I think this was the point where you careers spiralled downwards :/
It’s Son of the Mask,NOT mask 2,Son of the mask is great and is better with the directors cut,repent before you die in your sins,worship the Trinity of the King James and The Message paraphrase and Hank Habegraaff books “The complete revised bible answer book” and Hanks “The creation answer book” and Hanks equip multimedia broadcasts.
