Thank you for this! My daughter just bought this car used, but with no owner's manual. This video was much easier and faster then trying to find all this explained in the online book. You breezed by the controls on the lower R of the steering wheel pretty fast, but I was then inspired to play with those buttons and discovered a wealth of customization options, including the one I could not find in the online manual: how to set it up so unlocking the driver's door unlocks all the doors in the same step. Yay!
Loved this review. Easily my favorite review for the 2018 Honda Fit so far. I wish you went through the rest of the vehicle though, especially the trunk
Are all the features you mentioned for his car also available in the manual transmission version, Honda sensing, lane departure, collision warning, traction control, push start and the blind spot camera? The trim levels that I have looked at with a manual transmission don’t have all these features specially disk brakes in all four wheels.
How would you compare the 2018 FIT LX with the 2018 CIVIC LX? Which would you prefer and why? with respect to features, road handling and cabin noise, engine, long driving comfort. thanks!
Ray G both of these vehicles are going to offer a lot of the same amenities. It's really going to come down to ride quality and storage space. The fit LX is going to have more cubic storage space in the back along with the magic seats that flip up and flip all the way down. The Civic is going to offer a little bit smoother and quieter ride. For me, that would be what differentiates my decision.
The only thing that I wish Honda would do with this car (The Manual Transmission) is to make (HSA) Hill Assist Starter OPTIONAL!!! Jeep made their HAS option and so did Subaru!! I don't like HSA! I wish they would give an option to take it off!
Thx. I'm considering this w/the 6spd just cuz its under US$20k...why do Japanese makes only give the driver auto up; so frustrating (my vw gives me both); the vent doesn't cool/warm drinks (especially if in insulated cup), not enough energy coming out of that vent...I think the EX is the best value as I'm not totally sold on the plastic add-ons that come on the sport trim...
No CD i never looked ,Darn now to a shop. Good review but my old ears need slower.Truth is the other adjustments ar to complicated for me, factory manual very small print. No temp or oil gage, good mileage 30 - 40.Salesman said any questions call anytime, i tried for a year NOTHING ,first service they wer great. Bought it new but should have looked around more.
I had to slow down the video to 75 percent. Tap the screen, see vertical row of buttons, tap, gives you a menu, pick playback speed, tap pick speed, tap.
The switch blanks are certainly ugly. However pretty much every auto I've seen in the past 10-15 years and beyond has them (even my 50K Acura MDX). Usually manufacturers incorporate enough "blanks" or slots in the instrument panel design to accommodate controls for either optional equipment or required features in other world markets. (The blank in the MDX was for headlight washers not available in the USA).

Per your request, I actually started doing this on the other Fit reviews! Thanks for the request!
Just wanted to say I went ahead and bought the 2018 Honda Fit a few months back. Your video helped me a lot with that decision. Thanks!
Awesome review. Super in depth, different from any other one I've seen!

The odometer readout went away somehow on my 2018 Fit EX. How do I get it back?

All of those features are offered on the manual transmission.
Can the front seat also go down?

Ray G good question

If you get an LX I would get one with the Honda sensing features to keep yourself safe

Good review
I'm having a problem with my honda Fit 2018 car. I would be driving, and it just shut off. Before it shut off, several lights would pop up ..
Well done. Thank you.

So that’s what’s goin on there.
don't have a CD player , that sucks .
Honda is moving away from CD's. The tech is becoming dated. I believe most manufactures are also. Just a heads up.
Yeah cmon man it’s not 2001 anymore
@@RandomTrickshotterXD yes i know , its getting worse
