Wow!!! Much better!! Less of a rollover king!!! Man ryft is so cool but man people are really finding a lot of weak spots. You got great style when working on rigs and filming talking!!!
For that front there’s some cage surgery you can do for more axle up travel but you will be restricted to shorty packs. Aren’t the stock front shocks shorter than the rears? I would put some limiters in those fronts. For now on mine I limited all 4 internally with .7inch long nitro fuel tubing and have a sway bar on. There’s a $12 Amazon sway kit that comes with the bushings and links already. You just need to put a single tra5525 rod end on one side of each link and source a 3mm rod because you’ll need a wider torsion bar. I used brazing rod. Cut to the proper width and file a flat spot on each end. Nice video
Thank you very much i ended up using fuel tubing and putting all four stock shocks in the rear one set without springs it drives really good now but i did break a link end in a hard hit lol
@@AdventureTimeRC remember when you run double shocks like that to halve the oil weight. Stocks 30wt so running 4 on the rear you’d want 15wt in all 4 rear.
Looks a little more stable for sure. Still a little bouncy, though. Might be worth reducing the preload or using thicker oil. It's hard to know until you try it. Stiffer suspension typically reduces roll but not always. Sometimes if it's TOO firm, the car will flip rather than just transferring weight and too much preload can mean there's a harsh transition between the suspension not yielding and then suddenly compressing and that harsh transition can lead to rolling more easily. I have some vehicles that can actually corner faster without flipping when the suspension is soft and the whole rig leans over like a listing ship lol. Might be worth trying anyway, you have the shocks now so experimenting with the tuning is the cheap and easy part now! Either way, simply adding these new shocks alone has definitely made it better. Solid axle stuff is always going to be more prone to tipping but you can really blast that thing now and it isn't ending up on the roof as much.
Thank you very much i have been experimenting allot i have a dual shock setup on the rear now with thicker oil its really starting to drive nice i appreciate your watching and great comment hope you have a wonderful day
Nice it looks much better.. As with my twin hammers I put the sway bar on the rear and it helped a lot I think if you can hook it up it will get even better. also don't know if you know this but I will let you know just in case you don't.. with shocks if you want to make them shorter you can use spacers or a section of rubber tubing on the shock shaft under the shock piston inside the body and it won't let the shock rod extend out as far and make them like smaller shocks. 👍
I did not know that Steve thank you very much i was literally just thinking about taking the stock shocks and cutting off 20mm and re threading them this is much easier great idea
@@AdventureTimeRC Cool! I get hesitant letting guy's know stuff sometimes because if they already know about something they kind of get mad but it's better to share knowledge and see you did not know this now you do and can use it for most all shocks to adjust there size. glad it was helpful.
Im always learning and appreciate the information no matter how long i have been doing this hobby there is always something someone else does that i didn't know about
@@AdventureTimeRC I just swapped my front Ryft shocks to the back. I did have to swap the hollow balls to make the front shocks fit in the rear mounts. I put the 120mm shocks you used in the front with 60wt oil in them. Also here is a link to an anti sway bar test I did. ua-cam.com/video/EQq-CB4-4Bk/v-deo.html
For $20 you should try 4 shocks on the back without the sway bar. Should be pretty good. I'm going to try it. With a sensored motor and dif locks it should be a great crawler.
That Ryft looks like so much fun. I enjoyed watching the video. Thanks for sharing the fun you’re are having with it.
Thank you very much my friend I appreciate it hope you have a great day

You’ll love how much more manageable it is with a sway bar.
1/8” music wire makes a great torsion bar since it is spring steel.

Thank you Tyler they are really great for the money i like them

@@AdventureTimeRC no problem
Sweet mods. I hope it holds up. Great video.
Thank you very much my friend
Looks cool lowered,great video
Thank you very much my friend
The front looks perfect... very nice & allot more control?
Thank you Jhon way better handling i am running dual shocks on the back now even better

If you get the 130mm for the rear could the 120mm used as second shocks with no springs for a dual set up. .
Thats a great idea Malcolm i used a mixture of that and some advice from shen rc the result was great driving really good 😀
@@AdventureTimeRC That's cool, I wondered if it had the mounts for running twins.
@@BasBoyRC yes it does wish they had them in the front to
Really cool Brent, nice mods too, :) 😎👍
Thank you Tom i appreciate it brother
No More Torque Twist! NICE!
Did pretty good thanks for watching my friend
handles much better well done
Thank you very much brother
Great video my friend👍👍good job
Thank you very much my friend
Nice easy fix. That thing's cool.👍
Thank you Charlie appreciate it brother
Looks like it worked out well..thing is quick
Thank you Sean i appreciate it brother
Well, that was definitely worth doing - Horizon Hobbies take note! 120mm up front and 130mm at the rear would be perfect.
Those are great shocks , especially for the price
Thank you brother i really like them
😂🤣 awesome pal looking much better 😁👍✌
Thank you very much my friend
Cool 😎
I have the exact same shocks on my FTX mauler but it's a combination of this shocks and part of the stock shocks 💪
They seem pretty good i have a few runs with them now i like them
What weight oil are you running in the shocks? I think you will like an anti sway bar, it will really help with the torque twist.
I was running 30 wt but i am running duel shocks in the rear now lol keep trying new things thank you for watching my friend I appreciate it

Definitely like the look of it a little lower I found some shocks I might give a try. How did the torque twist do after lowering it?
I like it a bit lower seems to handle better and twist less thank you for watching
Very beautiful look 😀👋
Thank you very much my friend
nice rc 👍
Thank you very much my friend
Big difference. Looks better too.
Thank you Gary i appreciate it
I bought the same shocks work great
Thank you i have been happy with them to
Great work Bro!!
Thank you very much my friend
good job nice video 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you very much my friend
Nice mod. Looks a lot more stable.. but did you have to sacrifice some of the suspensions flex?
A bit but works good for what i want to do with it fun to experiment with
Congratulations on the video, so you got some shorter shock absorbers with soft springs, so as to make it more stable right?
i like the concept of this. but i would still look for a different setup.
It worked decent this was when after market parts weren't available yet I have sway bars on the front and rear now much better thanks for watching
really cool 👍😍👍
Thank you very much my friend
Good stuff!👍
Thank you brother 🤘
i think im going to just wait til you can buy the cage lol ur getting er there tho brother
Lol i am having fun experimenting with this one thank you for watching my friend
Great video
Thank you very much my friend
good cool 😎
Thank you very much my friend
It's been a year or so, update on shocks?
Hello thank you for watching I have done several upgrades and videos since this was filmed its actually running really good now
@@AdventureTimeRC assuming you stuck with the same suspension setup?
👍👍👍!!!
WOW
Thank you very much my friend
Nice and Low now Adventure time rc
Thank you Bobaque appreciate it brother

Thank you very much i actually have that setup now works great
Get the sway bar installed ?
Losi sway bar ...#los234006 and bushings from mofo rc on Facebook. They go right on costs about $25
Thank you very much for the information i really appreciate it
You're welcome.
Rear is to hard. Softer spring and thicker oil. And then the sway bar would be key.
😁😁👍👍
Nice upgrade Brent and go to my new video and at the end of it I'm showing you my RCs!
I will definitely do that thank you for watching brother
