I promise in future "new" videos, I won't chew gum. I hope that everyone finds this useful and please contribute in areas where we are lacking. We'll get it done! (PS: Sooooo weird to see myself.)
Haha... You're a natural! I'm looking forward to getting additional PDF's from the UA-cam audience so we can add them to the ZIP.
Thank you Bernie!
What? Hey I thought you were chewing tobacco!
I’m sooo disappointed!
Dude, I thought gum chewing was your gimmick or trade mark. Keep the gum!
Don't worry about it man great job appreciate the effort put into this project
Excellent! More documents for my preps. I *do* include a bunch of "pleasure" reading material on my device, as well as some "old school" cookbooks (American texts from the late 1700's & early 1800's) to give me an additional perspective on cooking with less common commercial ingredients, and old-fashioned food storage methods. Most of those are in the public domain now.
Cheers!
Amazing idea brother
I just want to thank you for all the knowledge and resources that you have used and openly gave out in a attempt to help us. You have been very unselfish and it is very appreciated. Keep up the good work, looking forward to your next video!
Thank you Cliff and Bernie!
That moment when TheUrbanPrepper becomes TheUrbanDictionary.
Excellent stuff guys! Knowledge = power! Great and thanks for all the time and effort!!
Half a gb (652Mo) is nothing at all for such an amount of info. Thanks for this, would be great to have a trimester update of the zip (or twice a year).
We'll do our best to keep it regularly updated.
I'm sure that we will be revisiting this often. Especially as recommendations come in, we will be sifting through to see what can be contributed. This really is a group effort and thanks to all of you who are sending us content.
Shut the front door. Are you kidding guys? this is the best thing I've seen. Thank you to both of you.
Excellent documents, great organization. This can easily be dumped on a micro-sd card and put in a tablet for reference at anytime. Like you said hopefully you never need it, but its a great reference guide to be acquainted with regardless, you really don't want to be thumbing though all this stuff if SHTF really ever happened. At least browse through it and get an idea of what's there, which I certainly will do. Thank you for sharing, and if I ever come across anything, or come up with any information to share I certainly will.
Thank you so much! I have several usb and mini sd card backups of a survival flash drive I made and keep adding to. It's mostly just useful web pages that I found and "printed to pdf" as well as my daily field journals (which include important data about local wild food availability at different times of year), and an offline copy of wikipedia (thanks to your kiwix tutorial). I should probably add family photos and other sentimental things as well, honestly... But anyway, these and the other pdfs you recently shared will be a fantastic addition to my existing survival files. I keep my files, a tablet, a solar charger, and a pedal generator in a homemade faraday cage should the worst happen. If I ever have the time, I will probably print paper backups as well. Thanks again for being so generous with your time and expertise. You're good dudes!
been downloading good vids and making library as well. This is a great addition thanks for the work on this it will be a great addition to what I have knowledge could be priceless in an extended event..
Awesome 👌 Thanks Bernie and Urban 👍
Sweet! Thank you! I have my files in my tablet and an identical folder on my phone.
Very cool! Thanks for putting this together!
Hello,
I am also a software engineer and a preparedness enthusiast so I really appreciate something like this. It looks like a great knowledge base.
Thank you both for the time spent (and for the laugh - check the name that you wrote for the expensive version of the kindle in the video description).
Regards from Romania!
LOL!!! Oops! Thanks for the heads up. Too funny. Fixed. :)
You guys totally rock!! Thanks for sharing all of the great information!! :-)
Nice job. Thanks guys!
Nicely done! It'll take a bit of time to go through all that...
Thank you! E Reader here I come!
wow men, thanks very much for both of You!!!!!!!
Love these kind of videos about knowledge and how to reference that knowledge quickly. I have a small reference book that I keep with me daily call Pocket Ref by Thomas J. Glover (mine is 2nd edition), has all bits of information from measurements to conversion tables to airline and city codes. Have you ever seen these little reference books? I think they are great for a prepper to have. I have been going through all your PDFs and they are great! Keep up the awesome videos!
Yes. I own a few of the Pocket Reference Manual. I think they are Prepper MUST. Thanks for the comment, Weston!
can you post specific titles sources for these books?
wow a really ton of information!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gracias !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome! Thanks guys.
Thanks kindly. I have many PDFs already, but I can take the time and update or compare.
Outstanding! Downloading now
Thank you, gentlemen.
Awesome job!!!
Great project by the way.
Thank you!
Thanks Guys!
THANK YOU
coolness, downloading now
I had a kindle for this purpose and noticed after a few month with no Amazon link up it would lock up. So I now use Samsung tablet.
Thanks for the awesome resource.
Wow is that true? If so, that would make it pretty pointless! I was just about to purchase one too...
Thanks Guys.
Thanks Guys :)
I’m guessing the link wasn’t tablet-friendly, but this is a really cool idea; I’ll have to check it out on my laptop. Do you think you would create a bound backup of some or all of these documents? BTW, hello from the South Sound
I'm thinking of making a custom bound backup of the documents. Still planning. I'm wondering if a Dropbox link would work better for tablets? We should link up one of these days, Todd, if you're in the south sound.
@@TheUrbanPrepper I would think Dropbox might, although it might just be that the file is huge. Definitely, we should.
BUG OUT BAG TIME=GREAT VIDEO
I have a few Bug Out Module videos coming out soon!
Awesome, any updates on this project? I have a large chunk of files I may be able to contribute...
I have a kindle paperwhite can you please tell me what is the best way to load it on my kindle like yours?
Just what we need as backup. Txh
No problem.
I have a whole load of PDFs (Over 10 Gigs, 2400+ docs) in my Survival Library all organised. Some are public domain, some are copies of books that I have. You can see what I have at www.kizar.co.uk/TW/library.html
Thank you so much! We'll check it out. That's a TON of info!
@@TheUrbanPrepper I have been through your collection of docs. There are a few there worth adding to my library. But the biggest takeaway I should point out is size requirements. You can save a huge amount of the disk space of your archive just by compressing your PDFs. Given that this is for an electronic format (Kindle, Nook etc.) storage space can be at a premium and you don't need heavy graphics in the files. Use a service such as smallpdf.com/compress-pdf and you can squash the graphics without compromising the content.
Thank you for this. I'm only now looking into prepping because of the government shutdown. (Better late than never..?)
Hi Cliff,
Has this archive of documents been updated?
Cheers
My kindle keeps crashing when I try to download your pdf file from mediafire. Kindle fire hd
Make a new EDC video!
I just made one 2 months ago. :)
Great gift I’m having Trouble with download to iPad
Yeah, I hear that the links sometimes aren't clickable on Apple. Not sure why. I can email you the link if you like.
TheUrbanPrepper please email this looks like such a great project patjakepat@aol.com
Can someone tell me the size of the download? I'm on a slow network area.
Ceielo it’s 684mb
It's around 650 MB.
ONE MORE THING? DAMN WHOS DAVID AND WHOS GOLIATH???? LOL
Can I download it right to my kindle? How?
I downloaded mine to my laptop first and then copied the files over.
I downloaded the PDF to my phone and every time I clicked on it, my phone froze. Not sure if you're aware of that. I deleted it.
Hmm.... I didn't have that problem. Do you have SW to extract ZIP files on your phone?

DOOD!
I haven't been getting your new vid alerts.
Dang! I must be too controversial. :) Click the notification button. Hopefully that helps.
@@TheUrbanPrepper Yes sir, that is exactly what I did lol.
That's a lot of pdfs
I wish you had an email address

You are tall. What is your height?
6'4" (1.9 meters)
No, I'm short... 5'3"
BionicMadness is Han Solo and I'm Chewbacca.
Are you a giant or is he small?
Both. I'm 5'3" and TUP is 6'4". I mean, I'm standing in a pot-hole and he's closest to the camera.
This is crap. This is the second time you have offered a collection of PDFs and this is the second time I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND THEM VIA YOUR LINK. I use an iPad
I'm not sure why you aren't able to get them on iPad. Send me an email to tupgotpreps@hotmail.com and let's figure out a way of getting them to you. Maybe Dropbox would work better for you.
Works for me :)
