I would’ve liked to see a closeup of the rappelling rig(sounds like you call it a Virgo?). I am very intrigued in the entire setup. I have never hunted from a saddle. I do love the idea of a climbing platform but i also wish the platform folded flat. I own a HAWK climber (they don’t make it anymore) that folds flat and I love that feature about it. It is very sturdy. A similar system would make this platform elite IMHO. Just advice here. Add a link in the description. I do love supporting smaller companies and i want to see yall succeed!!!!
Like the whole climber/platform concept as I just bought a new Lonestar saddle to hunt with. I have been using climbing steps Millenium hangon treestand, And Hawk helium sticks, also Summit Viper Ultra Climber,... I purchased each of those much cheaper than this unit. Would love to have it but find it too pricey. And a fellow Ohioan that also hunts WNF. With that being said nice job on the design and build though.
Im really interested in the pack you are testing! How long till you are thinking of having a full mock-up and doing sales? I would love to have one in my hands and give input or add modifications.
@Pantherplatforms understandable. You guys really got me thinking. By next season i think im goin to have a mock up of a pack. After seeing your guys video i pulled a note pad out and started drawing and makeing note for a concept.
On your pack, may appeal to more folks if you just added molle to the back so they can add whatever pouches they'd like. Also, anyway you could have a kid try this out? My son is about to turn 12 and he wants a saddle for his birthday and I'm looking to find the safest way to climb. I don't think he is ready to one-stick and I think sticks is just too much for him to carry, this could be a good option. He is a very small 12 yr old I might add, I'm curious as well, I currently one-stick and looking at just using an aider on a platform but this could be an option as well.
@@Pantherplatforms Do you have an extra pack laying around, I'd be interested in trying it out? I didn't see any on your website. Also, in the video the rope bag had a magnet but the ones on your website doesn't seem too. When would they be available on your site with the magnet? Our season here in AL doesn't end until Feb. 10.
Make the quick climber your backpack install shoulder straps also when the gear wheel blows off the cam jam guys are going to have to tie an auto lock for the gear hanger thanks
Out of the 6 people that have ran this platform for 5 years we have never lost the platform, but in the event we did we could just rappel down to get it, easy peasy
Your band is too tight. One thing I will do is hook up the pull strap, put my feet in the foot bars and tilt the platform while I’m tightening the pull strap

Might be a few months, there is a lot of logistics to get figured out. We’re also not dead set on that style yet

I’m excited to see what you come up with!!!

We did away with the magnetic bags bc they were falling off on people, we could make you one to try out

Run a paracord drop line to your waist to platform because you will drop the platform. It sucks. Good stand build.

If the post is to far from tree is that because I have too much band out?

I can make a video showing this
Why not use a climber?
@@Big-G-man85 because this is specifically designed for saddle hunters.
Bro learn how to climb with a climber , there is literally no deer left to hunt with the noise you made climbing the tree
Yep we are way too loud. Thanks for watching though
No good
I’m glad you think so, thanks for watching
