Tony Jaa (Yaah is how its pronounced)
Donnie Yen vs Bruce Lee!!!
Bruce Lee created Jeet Kune Do for Self Defense not for movies!!!!! Clear as day.
He nh
Most great martial artists studied or emulated Bruce Lee. That alone let’s you know he was the best.
Most martial artists emulated the fighting patterns of their master or sensei, presumptively, if they were to gain an 75% they would be on good ground. Then they would focus on their own moves or Art.
Bruce Lee Was Not The Best,But The( Greatest) ! The Word Best Is An Insult,Especially When We Are Talking About The Greatest & Most Influential Martial Artist Of All Time ! The Late But Always Will Be Great And The Greatest Martial Artist Of All Time (Bruce Lee) !!!!!!!
That's not true... Just because you idolize someone who did something before you, and you emulate their passion, style, whatever... Doesn't mean they can't be surpassed. You're not the best, just the original and most icon. There's a difference between the two.
Example, think Basketball... Michael Jordan idolized and imitated Magic Johnson and Julius Erving - yet was the greatest "of all time" to some. But Kobe Bryant came by after mimicking Jordan and was said to surpassed Jordan because of his stats and then HE became the greatest. But they all followed someone before them...
Mike Tyson idolized Muhammad Ali, but is a much more ferocious boxer prime-for-prime. Many think Tyson would've beaten Ali if they met in the ring at either's prime - Ali even stating in an interview he thinks he wouldn't be able to take on Tyson. Same for Floyd Mayweather, he also idolized Muhammad Ali and is the face of boxing with an undefeated record - even saying he was greater than Ali was.
Honestly, I think Jaa would outperform Lee, in this case. Of course people know how to be humble and still regard the previous idol as the greatest and they only try to live up to them, but that is humility. Lee outclasses Jaa in speed, but I believe Jaa has the unorthodox abilities, overall strength and style-defenses that he would beat Lee, in all honesty. Just because you dedicate yourself to something for years upon years, doesn't mean a genius won't show up and out-do you in what you've practiced your whole life on. That's just the innate nature of the world.
I personally do not believe Bruce Lee is the greatest. But he is the most iconic. People lose their titles to reality (not nostalgia) all the time.

Bruce Lee broke his back and was told by doctors he may never walk again before he made his first movie. He healed himself through physical and mental discipline. That my friend, is a true warrior.
I have broken,my neck & back in a car accident in 1991.
I was healed the same way Bruce was, by Father GOD Himself.
Don't believe the myths bud.
(I also teach JKD & Father GOD)
I think this is cause of his death. He uses energy too for action on film and he rests shortly too. He attempt to create his muscles by excercise extremely.
Mic drop! Potent word GX!
As a calisthenics enthusiast I feel like I should inform you that he broke his back doing an exercise that I believe is called "good morning" in english (images.app.goo.gl/Bhti414uwpWhX7hE8) it puts a shit ton of unnatural stress on your back joints. That's how he broke them. When the doctors abandoned all hope regarding his recovery, Bruce looked for another way to cure his joints and found out about the therapy that can be provided by traditional progressive calisthenics. Not gonna explain it in detail but read convict conditioning 2 part 2 and part 3 chapter 19.
God healed Bruce Lee
We love both...I respect the young man...but between those two..certainly there is only one man..the ultimate package. .speed ...strength..skills...mind..Lee the father of all material art.
Nostalgia
The jab! Most under-rated street fighting skill bar none! Bruce is correct here..
Bruce Lee without a doubt.
I'm sure they had a secret fight, on that big property from the big boss, the person who witnessed it said Bruce won easily
BRUCE LEE WOULD HAVE DESTROYED any of them WHO WANTED THAT SMOKE !!!💯🔥👈
I grew up a big Bruce lee fan, but Tony Jaa is a real fighter who fought against other trained fighters. Bruce lee fought people who didn't really know how to fight. Tony Jaa would win.
Bruce Lee, without a doubt👍👍
Noone can beat Bruce!
The Godfather of martial arts #BRUCELEE HANDS DOWN
BRUCE LEE no bout very fast an accurate very straight forward an strong 💪👊💯 with every blow
Tony jaa namber 1
Bruce lee is a legend no one can beat him
ip man yes
@@jerexd1330 nope
@@jerexd1330 Bruce was physically powerful and knew wing chun
Just legend for stupid people...he is actor!
Agree
I'm going with Bruce. However I'd like to clear up some of the things you mentioned in regards to Jaa's martial arts background. He began practicing Muay Thai from around age 8...he fought in the ring at Muay Thai Training camp and didn't lose a fight...his record is said to be 5-0 and even though it couldn't be found online...he actually confirmed it with me himself via Facebook that he has indeed fought several times and remained undefeated. He even said it was "Alot more" then just 5 fights.
I said "and you never lost?"
He said "Not yet 😉"
This was around 2014
I asked him if he has a black belt he said "yes. My belt lies in taekwando"
He definitely learned martial arts for movies such as Wushu,Judo,Taekwando & Muay Boran...But with Muay Thai he generally started off as a fighter...with the intention of one day getting into film.
Always always Bruce Lee is a Bruce Lee the reality an real legend 💪✊👊
Bruce Lee (no doubt)
As for your question:
“is there anyone better.?”. yes .. me (he-he)
Bruce lee for ever
Bruce Lee god of martcal art only one man god Bruce Lee god Bruce Lee buteful pace any ware nevare that is Bruce my god is Bruce lee
Bruce Lee is one in the world, he will be one because no other mother can produce a son like him
Bruclee for me he has so many styles one of the strongest man in the world he challenge entire america in his days💪
Lets not forget his epic performance at the ping pong table where he took out two professionals with his nunchucks instead of a paddle. I'd like to see some copy that.
That was faked. It was an actor and TV magic. Produced for a commercial. Sorry to break your heart. LOL
Indeed
@@LoganTaiChi Dude, you are no fun!
@@LoganTaiChi I don't think they had TV magic like that back then. Also, why didn't they use that "magic" to make it more than some B-role crappy looking black and white footage? I don't buy YOUR story.
@@apb38 lol idk if you’re joking or not but that commercial was made in 2008 for Nokia.
Bruce Lee was the Jimi Hendrix of martial arts . Jimi Hendrix was the Bruce Lee of electric guitar. Both individuals have changed the way we all think of both disciplines .
Another thing they have in common is that they both died from drugs. 😆
Jimi was actually a proven musician. Bruce played a fighter on film.
Bruce Lee he's the best and will always be the best he invented his own way of fighting
that doesn't say anything. jkd is nowadays known to be pretty impractical. whereas muay boran has been fought in wars since ancient times.
Namaste 🙏. Had the privilege of witnessing Master Lee, at Madison Square Garden as a tweenager in the early ‘70’s. No one could even get near Bruce Lee in a fight. Not only inordinately powerful for his size/weight, the speed exponentially increased Master Lee’s striking power and accuracy. Even today, decades after an untimely passing, Eye can still visualize the devastation applied to anyone dumb enough to challenge the Dragon. His speed was so intense, Ewe could hear the air pop when Master Lee would practice punching. Ask Mrs. Lee, she’ll tell you that the strength exchanged in the contact would be more than enough for any challengers to quickly change their plans. Undoubtedly the most powerful fighter, pound for pound and incredibly unstoppable.
Namaste 🙏.
Tony started training in Muay Thai at ten years old. He then went on to train Muay Boran, Taekwondo and Judo. Part of Muay Thai training is conditioning and fighting. He did fight and has an undefeated record.
Both men bring something to the table in terms of their Martial prowess… but a Legend will always come out on top in the minds of those who follows, worship and adore him.
Bruce Lee served martial arts well, so he's the fastest, the best, and there's no one like him, and he's a legend that won't happen again
O Tony Jaa é muito bom e tem muita potência nos golpes, mas o Bruce Lee é muito rápido demais a diferença entre os dois é muito grande ia ser uma luta de velocidade contra força
There is no way Bruce Lee can lose even in his dreams 🙂🙂🙂
jeet kune do sucks. muay thai negs.
Bruce Lee: * simply straight punches through Tony Jaa’s chest * WWAAAAHTAAAHH!!!
Great video 👌
1:10 (btw Tony Jaa also learned aikido)
Don't need to compared them, they both are really talented by their own way, I will never compare,I respect both of them
When I was a kid Bruce lee was the most famous man in New York city I went to a movie theater and everyone was cheering the whole time so Bruce lee without a doubt invented his own martial art!
6:35 bruce lee and young jackie chan 😂😂
Bruce Lee is talented and educated smart strong 💪, Bruce Lee has learned many kind of martial arts and he is good actors, he created a new fighting method for people new generation to follow. Tony ja
He is doing good for himself and his movies. But Bruce Lee has what it take to be supreme master and there’s never be a new Bruce Lee...!!!
Woow
Bruce...hands down! 🥋🥊
Lee's kick and punch ....... heaven and earth
I loved Bruce Lee's movies before I could even read I was so upset that I got a martial arts movie without the real Bruce Lee when I was a little kid like four years old, I always made sure the movie had the dragon behind it ever since until I could read so that I got the real Bruce Lee in every film that I rented, I also enjoyed Tony Jaa ong bak and every movie that he's been in I think he's very talented and entertaining what Bruce would whoop him in my opinion in a real fight
Bruce
I am 70.5 years old and just took up Wing Chun already gone thru 12 teachers. I am learning quickly and practice one hour on forms 3 hours Chi Gung to develop internal powers. When I served in Vietnam as a medic I at age 21, I could kick the top of a door jamb 6’8” without even warming up. In boot camp San Diego I finish the obstacle course as 3 fastest out of 277 companies with 60 enlisted in each company. The second place guy happen to be in my company 277 and he beat me by less than a second. There were two walls with ropes one wall 8 ft and one was 10 ft. The 8 ft wall was no problem, I jump up 3feet and flew over the wall. The 10 feet require one reach and pull up to go over also no problem. There was a rope 75 feet long so I had to pull myself upside down to the other side. Then there was this huge tree 75 feet long and I ran across it as if it were flat. I was 20 years old and had my 21 st birthday with no celebration and no birthday cake. From there it was on to the USS Tripoli to serve my duty.
For all of you out there, don’t give up continue to work out. It keeps you young and life is so much more gratifying
I never watch Bruce Lee and so I didn’t know much about him
One story that really cool, I when to the restroom about 1 :00 am in the morning, 3 guys came to attack me. I was the only Asian guy in the company. First guy try to kick me but I caught his feet and threw him to the ground. The second person try to hit me with his fist but failed cause I caught his fist. The third person looked and surrendered. I never had problems for the duration of my boot camp training,
Thanks to all my training, I was able to save myself a 1/2 dozen times in the Philippines.
Legend must not compared with others, it is a single piece for ever.
Jo bro
Great video
THanks
¡A BRUCE LEE NO LO PUEDE COMPARAR NADIE SIEMPRE SALE VICTORIOSO!YOU CANNOT COMPARE ANYONE TO BRUCE LEE! BRUCE LEE ALWAYS SALE VICTORIOUS!
My top 5 list are:
1. Bruce Lee
2. Jackie Chan
3. Jet Li
4. Donnie Yen
5. Tony Jaa
Best Action Of Tony jaa
Pure speculation. Bruce never fought in any tournaments apart from in the movies, so determination made purely on guess work. He was indeed a pioneer.
In fact he did.. He fought both on- and off-scene. Had many street fights and was humble but challenged any opponent honorably; therefor challenging himself. Was Bruce Lee alive today: no doubt in my mind he would defeat any gorilla in the MMA scene. Not only for his fysical strenght, but more so his 'mental' strenght..
@@alswedgin9274 Sorry disagree.
Reality and exibition between lots of changes. Bruce Lee follows only reality not for exibition. That's why he became the father of martial artists.
Bruce lee was a documented street fighter with numerous accounts of him being challenged on and off set-founder of the martial arts style jet June do- and was a combat instructor for the professional fighters- Bruce lee trained in judo grappling as well as other styles- Bruce lee wrote multiple books on the science and physics of combat techniques- there is video footage demonstrating full contact improvisational sparring wearing protective gear where Bruce Lee’s prowess is inhuman-Bruce lee is widely accepted as the grandfather of mix martial arts. Comparing Bruce to fighters today is like comparing Superman to the superheroes today who copied all of his shit.
No Bruce Lee is more like Wolverine
Bruce Lee (Chen Zhen) vs Tony Jaa (Ong-Bak) - Fist of Fury vs Ong-Bak
Danny Chan Kwok-Kwan vs Tony Jaa - (Jeet Kune Do vs Muay Thai)
Bruce Lee (Jeet Kune Do) vs Tony Jaa (Muay Thai)
while they both are actors, I would say 4 years of muay Thai beats a lifetime of jeet kune do. there are too many myths about bruce lee. thank god MMA brought many myths into the light. it's funny it's always bruce lee vs. because if he faced a fighter nowadays he would just be like a training dummy to them. imagine bruce lee vs. rodtang? all credit to bruce lee though, he introduced the world to martial arts and should forever be respected. I believe jeet Kune do is mostly a failed "system" ( yes I know it's not a "style") because of the god-like status of its creator. it's basically MMA, but never fully got to evolve. it is supposed to be fluid yet it's not. it's too hung up on its creator. MMA is also not a "style" The part that is style is the part where each individual martial artist links multiple styles together to create their individual style of fighting. it is my theory that this is what bruce lee wanted. my previous statement was that bruce would be a training dummy to a modern fighter, this is true if he was fighting as himself in his time. if he were alive jeet Kune do would have evolved and he would have been able to beat a lot of modern champions like conner McGregor.
No doubt Bruce is the best that ever lived, for sure
Damn.. now THIS is a matchup!
This vid has falls statements abundant; yet i agree with the end result..
One has to have the speed of Bruce lee to understand. For if the punch comes at you before you can see it or even react. If they have to slow the camera down than it must be faster than on screen?
Bruce was well aware of what happened when the Kung Fu fighters went up against Muay Thai fighter...he avoided MT fighters when he was in Thailand.
Bruce Lee was a man of 1960s and early 70s, where as Tony ja is present one, so we cannot compare. If Bruce born in 80s or 90s he would have much more popular than he was.
Bruce was real as Fk.It's disrespectful to even ask who when.Bruce died 48 years ago and even his movie fighting still dope as FK.Imagine how he really fights.Fast and Powerful.Duh !!
The supreme martial art is the 'Direct Integrated Way'.
Bruce Lee!
Bruce lee wouldn't stand a chance against Tony Jaa.
The fear less warrior bruce lee because of his speed and perfection of moves
Bruce Lee will win.
Definitely Bruce Lee ✊🏾
Bruce Lee is a legend on movie. But in a real fighting, I am not sure
Bruce Lee was ahead of his time but he also knew three people who could win a fight all the time above him names Smith & Wesson Remington Steele. Hahaha even he knew it was game over. Rip Bruce
I love both guys but Bruce is the GOAT nuff said.
Here is my take. If the fight is really short, I would say Tony Jaa would win due to his style is to seriously injure. For Tony Jaa to win, he would have to penetrate and seriously injure Bruce quickly. If the fight goes 5 minutes or longer with continued contact fighting, I would say Bruce would win with his strength and speed.
he will take toney jah within seconds not even minutes 👈
I really like Tony but Bruce would decimate all.
Both are the best and hard working
Thank you for your information
Tony jaa q❤️🙏
Yall are underestimating tony jaa
No disrespect to Tony but Bruce Lee is unstoppable!
there is no question . Bruce is the master, some may train and seek film recognition. we'll never know. but i haven't seen or heard of the other guy so there is that
bruce lee
I’d put my money on Bruce. Always Bruce Lee. Even though Tony Jaa is very good athlete, he still does not have the born natural fighting skills and especially Bruce’s stunning speed strengths. Bruce’s natural fighting skills were the most fluid yet powerful.
Tony jaa has no muscles how can he fight give me a break
Bruce Lee is fast and super fighter. Is the good in all fights and is speed is the best one of world fighter
Awesome
Bruce Lee would win in my opinion because you can't compare a life long fighter to someone who has been fighting for significantly less time.
Tony jaa no muscles at all and he’s a showman and acting that’s about it
Bruce Lee 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Bruce's punch speed is 190 km/h and can make 10 in just one sec.
Kiddos
@@willdeal6284 u mean u
Bruce Lee all the way with out a doubt The Master of Martial Arts He opened up to the world that it should be no limits in nationality w/out his thoughts in philosophy & JKD the future wouldn't have Great Martial Art Movies today to watch that of course had a Great Master Teacher influence from The Man BRUCE LEE OUR IDOL & ICON
You just never know if there could be a better fighter somewhere out their but my personal favorite is Bruce Lee
No one can't beat Bruce lee
Bruce Lee vs Scott Adkins | Jeet Kune Do vs Taekwondo - BRUTAL TV
Bruce Lee will win because the man was super lightning fast and Powerful . Tony jaa will go down in defeat and there is no one better than Bruce Lee Bruce Lee is the king
Bruce Lee is the Big Bang of martial arts, Don't know who may have been their before big bang
I guess Martial arts peaked in the 70's
There are enough demonstration films of Bruce Lee performing martial arts techniques in real time on real people (no film magic) to convince me that Bruce Lee is better. (not to mention his Nunchuck speed with Ping Pong and lighting matches) His speed was not a fantasy.
lol that nunchuk ping pong is fake

Mentallity brucelee
Heart of warrior tony jaa
Street fight ...tony jaa win
Imagine...never back down part 4 starring Micheal Jai white..tony jaa..Bruce Lee..Jackie Chan..jet LI...dopest movie ever with the illest fight choreography to date...don't mind me I'm jus dreaming out loud
You already know who it is. Just look a the physical of the two. Lee's muscles is hard as rock with lighting speed and Tsunami power.

Weight:135lbs. Weight:150lbs
Reach: 72inches Reach:69inches
Winner: Bruce Lee.
Can you do "Bruce Lee VS Floyd Mayweather"?
Lee would be speed vs Strength. U praise Lee’s kicks too much. Height is the least factor in martial arts. Smaller would probably be better to a degree.
May weather doesn’t even know how to box. He runs. He has picked bums to box 🥊. That says it all. He has an inferiority complex to pick these guys.
When may weather cowardly turns his back to dodge. That leaves his back, neck, and everything else very vulnerable
Man Bruce Lee creates jkd he's a Genius fighter. Jaa os martial artist. Lee is above of Jaa. I love both but they're diferents.🍺🍺🍺🍺
Both are great in their respective times! But in one field one name will be eternal.Abraham Lincoln in politics, Mother Teressa in social services, Michael Jackson in music, Charles Shobharaj in robbery; like that! Nobody can expect other than Bruce in Martial arts!!
Correction; Bruce Lee did not study martial arts all his life. He was a hood growing up and started boxing at 14 to make himself tougher. He started studying wing chun under Ip Man when he was 16. Although this calmed him down somewhat, he was still getting into trouble which is why his father sent him to live in the US when he turned 19 before he ended up either dead or in prison.
Bruce Lee all the way! 👑
BRUCE LEE
You said Jeet Kune Do was impractical to a degree? There is a was UFC fighter named Ben Sanders who competed with Jeet Kune Do Style and was very successful with it. Also hands down I give this to Bruce. He sparred with actual world champions, and not to mention the 2 men Bruce was trained by.
Saya akan mengikuti tayangan ini dengan baik terima kasih
Im fan of bruce lee jackie chan and jet li since I was a child I admit that Bruce Lee wins
Kung Fu is like water. If Bruce Lee live longer he would have many moves and technics .
If even back than, no one dare to fight him . LOL
Per me la tecnica di Tony Jaa ed il modo in cui porta i colpi, sono migliori di quelli di Bruce Lee. Per quanto riguarda chi tra i due possa vincere in uno scontro, trovo sia difficile da prevedere.
