I believe this is Bruce's finest fight choreography.... the nunchaka battle with Dan Inosanto is really wicked with blinding speed on both sides. Ironically its my understanding that Dan Inosanto taught Bruce the nunchaka Bruce expanded on it adding his flare and speed to the mix. Of all the times Bruce utilized the nunchuks this one I feel takes top honors with the Chinese connection coming in second ....that fight with the Japanese wielding a samurai blocking Bruce's attempted blows with the nunchuks was phenomenal. But game of death was excellent nunchaka fight
A documentary of Bruce's life incorperating these fight scenes would have been more than enough for his fans and a far better tribute to this man's achievements than what they did to Finnish this movie. Thank goodness he completed Enter the Dragon.
I remember the day I went with my friends to the theater to see this movie. The discipline in the fighting is amazing. I can remember all of it as if I just walked out of the theater. One of my better days that day.
A superb showcase of Lee's abilities and transcendent combat philosophy. Bruce is the GOAT, always has been and likely always will be. I can't help wondering why his character in the movie didn't go up to the last level after everything he went through. In any case, Bruce Lee's impact and influence will live forever. May he and Brandon rest in peace.
Sadly, if he didn't know Christ before he died he's in flames. If you want proof look at isreal. It's a nation that has been through the holocaust and fights this very night for their lives yet God still calls them His people. I've seen real miracles of things just simply multiplying and people raised from the dead in Christ name but people ask where's th proof? The fact that people who mock God and are still alive to laugh about it shows God is love
I am truly amazed by the clarity of these clips compared to the film that they sold in the 70s and 80s thank for the hard work that you put in to allow us to see.
I grew up on all the Bruce Lee flicks. The end footage was just a metaphor. Bruce Lee fought his inner demons and him and his Brandon will be legends forever
@@flookie6283 Who is "Saenchai"???? Either way, i can agree with you. Bruce was never "Invincible", not even in his own movies. He knew how to learn from his opponents. Tony Jaa, Chiba Shinichi, v.v.v.v. are even more talented than Bruce was. The thing is, what Bruce had was more than just fighting skills.
@@hanglong8056 Saenchai is a professional Muay Thai fighter. I agree, nobody is invincible, there’s always at least one person out there that can beat you. They don’t even have to be famous. I’m just responding to what he said, that Bruce was the fastest and most powerful. Saenchai has the best speed to power ratio ever, there’s no competition. He’s about the same size as Bruce but throws his punches and kicks about twice as fast and twice as powerful. He’s one of the fastest guys to ever fight, period. That’s his hallmark. Some fighters are know for just their power, or their kicks, their head movement. Bruce was known for his philosophy. Saenchai is known for super human speed and cat like reflexes, which makes him seem even faster than he is
@@flookie6283 I agree. In fact, Tony Jaa is already better in terms of fighting skills. But as we all know, people are unfair in fighting, especially street fight. Therefore, we need to constanly learn in order to adapt
Bruce Lee: At 15, (1973), already a Black Belt & Instructor, in Sho-Lin, Kung-Fu. My next Martial Art instructor was 8th degree Black Belt in Hwa-Rang-Do; Joo Bong Lee. He was fresh to America, from South Korea. He barely spoke English. Yet, to this day, one of the most Prolific & Authentic, Martial Artist ever. He was far beyond... Bruce's Lee's skills. When we would ask; what he thought of Bruce Lee? He would respond... "Ahh Good Actor." Fast Forward, to my 30 years, teaching Martial Arts/Self-Defense, to everyone from Kids, Women, Men & Cops as a Tactics/Self-Defense police officer/instructor. Now at 66 years of age, I still agree with... Joo Bang Lee. Bruce was a very good martial artist. Yet, the facts are simple! Bruce was 5'7 & 135 pounds. He was "FAR" from the best, martial art fighter! That is an "unequivocal" fact! In the movies Anyone/Everyone can beat up, a hundred bad guys, without breaking a sweat! In real life! That is a whole other story!!! Bruce has been dead for over 50 years! Let It/Him GO!!! Try focusing on your own life! Not a dead actor/martial artist, gone for over 50 years! That is a 100% FACT!!! MOVE ON!!! GEEEEEEEZ!!!
My favorite, the cat sounds, the screams ,the laughter in them to psych out his enemies. Bruce Lee ,I remember him in The Green Hornet, he played the role of Kato, partner in crime fighting. Too bad we lost him, great entertainer in martial arts.
Martial arts means Bruce Lee And.🥋 Bruce Lee means Martial arts. No words for such a great man. Imagine if Bruce Lee was alive till now. How many of great action movies, we would have get to see.🧐
What gets me is the Chuck Norris memes. I saw Norris one day at a Casino in Lake Charles Louisiana. 5 tall women got out of the Limousine. I couldn't even see Norris. He was literally 5 feet tall with boots on. The dude couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag.
I thought I seen everything about Lee back in the 70s. Where we all were kungfu fighting every time we seen his movies. But never saw this before today. Thanks 😎
See when Bruce takes his stance what he's doing is he's maneuvering you to where you have to attack in that certain way so he can anticipate at intercept your your moves Bruce man who was you in a position where he has tactical advantage my brother Bruce
Bruce Lee's facial and body expression at 18:23 is priceless. "Alright, you go ahead and take over as I watched you get your ass whipped, because I was doing just fine on my own before you rudely interrupted our groove."
As far as I know there is no actual proof that Lee was too fast for the cameras to catch other than anecdotal evidence and hearsay. However, movie cameras in the ’60s and ‘early 70s were not as good or fast as modern ones, so it wasn’t uncommon for fast action to blur in the film, making this a completely believable assertion.
Ty 4 posting this entire clip, Bruce was trying to tell Us so much here about the world We live in, for those that know what I'm saying, there is a good reason for every bit of footage he put into this, bless Him for putting everything he did
That was Lee's real martial arts philosophy, at least when it came to the physical...protecting your self at all cost. Lee understood the concept of real street fighting. If you encounter a guy who is 6 feet, 5 inches and a whopping 300 pounds, you do whatever you have to do to protect your "LIFE." That's how Bruce Lee envisioned every possible street fight--you may have to fight to the death. Unfortunately, many people have died in street fights because they never considered the cost of life.
@@thomasbrown3793 Apparently Bruce-Lee had to order in a custom made punch bag that was 700 lbs because others were too weak. ua-cam.com/video/7uXid-nVCAs/v-deo.html

Jabbar, literally, has the physique of a comic book superhero, here in this scene. Then, his massive height only adds to it. Amazingly, he took lessons from Bruce.
Jabbar said his college coach and Bruce were his top influencers. "When we sparred Bruce could kick the back of my head!" He also said he couldn't keep up with Lee in workouts.
Bruce told jabbar when he first started training him that with his size and athletic ability, he could be invincible. That's why he's the final boss, a literal giant that's also fighting with no style. Bruce wrote it so that the only weakness was a physical one and not a stylistic one.
@@gilligan369 I read a Kareem autobio... real good guy. When he was a kid he was bullied. His nature was shy ... despite being the biggest (at least in height) in school he wasn't the extrovert that Lee was.
The biggest thing that stands out is the Ji Han Jae (Hapkido master) footage. So much of his good footage was left out that in Game of Death he looked like a bit of a pushover, easily defeated by Bruce Lee. But in the unedited fight he showed masterful spin kicks and smoothness. The techniques he exhibited were the best example in an action movie of the concept of blending with the attack (Aiki) even Steven Seagal at his peak didn't quite film it as well as Ji Han Jae. The other thing was Master Jae had at the time completed a tour of Vietnam teaching the ROK armed forces (something he did for some time) and had likely been challenged and tested in ways Bruce Lee and others had not. I think the martial arts world missed out on a great opportunity to see this man in unrestricted action.

Nah.. Enter the Dragon nunchaks scene tops all of them
Yes. The best nunchaku scene i ever seen
This was not a good one in my opinion cause they hit each other in the head with clean hits and they act like the nunchucks are foam

He had a show called "Warrior" and has now reached season 3
Saenchai is faster and more powerful than Bruce was.
@@flookie6283
Who is "Saenchai"????
Saenchai is known for super human speed and cat like reflexes, which makes him seem even faster than he is
@@flookie6283
I agree. In fact, Tony Jaa is already better in terms of fighting skills.
But as we all know, people are unfair in fighting, especially street fight. Bruce Lee, Tony Jaa or anybody else...they all can't fight guys who play dirty on the street.
I am a Bruce Lee's fan, but what you said is correct. Therefore, we need to constanly learn in order to adapt
Bruce Lee:
At 15, (1973), already a Black Belt & Instructor, in Sho-Lin, Kung-Fu.

Lee changed the entire film industry. He called out the fake masters. He was hated badly by his own.

So fast in getting his ass kicked. 😆

Jabbar, literally, has the physique of a comic book superhero, here in this scene. Then, his massive height only adds to it.
Amazingly, he took lessons from Bruce.
Jabbar said his college coach and Bruce were his top influencers. "When we sparred Bruce could kick the back of my head!"
He also said he couldn't keep up with Lee in workouts.
