I started watching you when you were still in a long distance relationship and tbh u guys are my comfort people. Seeing as how you grew to be stronger yet still chooses Jesus as the center of your lives/relationship makes me really happy. Whatever life you choose to have for you and your little angel, I hope it'll make you happy. You are so blessed and your journey has inspired me to live life to the fullest! I love you both ❤️
From someone who's watched you for a long time... Please don't feel any pressure to share your daughter with us-you don't even need to share her real name if you don't want to (that way she won't have an online presence/profile that she can't control). If you have the instinct to protect her identity, please follow that hunch without worrying about being "rude" or owing us anything!
100% yes! Children should not be online full stop. Of course when you do a vlog and they run around in the background that's maybe different (although their faces can be blurred) but showcasing them in any shape or form should be avoided for the children's sake.
As a parent myself, Protect your daughter as you were saying Jess. No matter what you do as her parents, the internet is not the place to put her at all these days! Her lil spirit and mind should stay far away from all the harsh and negative things of this world. I pray you are both doing well and Jess has a blessed wonderful delivery!
I love how Kristen Johns does her videos with her son. He isn't the main source of content but if he pops up its sweet and more like a home video vibe.
this!! I think it was also very healthy for her to not film/ post her birth video. That's an immense pressure for any person - especially a woman giving birth and figuring out postpartum.
I definitely think keeping your children private is a great idea. Like Jess mentioned about creepy people being online is a big reason but not only that, it can also keep away the judgment of certain people that like to judge other people's parenting styles/choices. Maybe videos of your children can be uploaded privately or stored on a file away from the public eye. Either way, I know you'll decide on what you both think is the right decision :)
also , i think the children have their right to stay away from spotlights and it's the job of the parents to protect them . we all know that cyberbullying , invasion of privacy and creepy people affect the child in a very bad way . i think they can share some funny cute stories without oversharing .
I had such similar thoughts to you guys regarding sharing my son! What I ended up being comfortable with was - sharing life as a parent but just without sharing his face or his name. Zero regrets ❤️
The way Jess look at Gabriel, does not change at all since the beginning of their relationship. Awww 🤍 Anyway, I pray that God help ease everything for both all you. Love y'all!
Hope and pray that you never ever feel pressured or stressed or anything like that about showing your daughter on the internet. I mean, we may be dying to see vlogs which includes her but the most important thing is to protect her. Seeing so many family UA-cam channels that exploit their children for views is so heartbreaking. Both of you will never be that kind of parents I know for sure but the internet, like you said Jess, has so many bad people and it's a tricky place. Sadly, there's no definite answer to how to deal with it, specially in this era. You can't totally keep her hidden either. But I know both of you will do great, God is always there ❤ And all of you will always remain in our prayers, specially your little baby ❤
I really respect the fact of not having your children on the internet until they are old enough to say themselves they don’t mind being exposed to the world
Definitely keep her privacy!! You guys have built such a great community and we have fallen in love with the both of you don’t feel like you HAVE to put her online until she is ready!! Love you both!
I hope y’all see this - as a mother, I hope you feel completely comfortable with the choice not to share your daughter. Remember that she will grow older and one day be able to tell you whether or not she wants to be shown online. You can always make that choice later on, but once you put her out there it’s going to be almost impossible to undo, especially when you lead such high-profile lives. Don’t worry about her wondering if you’re ashamed of her. I know you two are going to put so much effort and focus into building a good relationship with her and if you have her heart, it will be so easy to reassure her that you are proud of her and that your only concern is protecting her. This is a new age. Never before have such private and intimate moments of people’s lives been so accessible. In the end, I think it’s much more preferable to prioritize her safety and her own autonomy by keeping her away from the internet until she can at least consent to being part of your online lives, rather than putting her all over social media only for her to tell you later on that you wish she hadn’t. It IS possible, even with the lives you lead. It’ll take a little extra effort and creativity, but I promise that your daughter is worth it. All love from VA ❤️ praying for y’all!
I too struggled with the fears of sharing our baby on social media, even though we are just normal people and don't have any significant following! So I can't imagine how conflicted you probably feel! After our baby was born, our pregnancy announcement didn't have her face in it, which people thought was kind of different I'm sure (and made me slightly sad) but I really was anxious with a public profile and old FB friends I wasn't sure I even knew anymore. However After 2 months in, for whatever reason my anxieties about sharing her face started to fade and I decided to go for it, which felt exciting for my friends to see her and give us affirmation/love. My philosophy is just try to just capture moments she's in vs. always sharing her face directly! Hopefully you will come to peace with whatever decisions you decide work best for YOU!
As someone who follows you both and supports you both I hope you know that we as viewers are truly happy with however you decide to share your family. Not every moment is meant to be shared online, and having the opportunity to have those precious moments with your new baby and not be afraid of how people will react is huge. We just love you two and want what's best for the both of you. It's amazing to see you both so happy in this new chapter!
hello lovely jess and gabe! just quickly, no matter how much of a pleasure it would be (as a viewer) to meet your daughter, please remember that we are strangers, and all the funky stuff internet does to kids. no matter what the parasocial relationships between viewer and content creator might call you to do, she is your daughter! the internet can be quite horrid and keeping her away from that is completely understandable and well within your right - and we should have nothing to do with that because we are not her parents! anyway love the videos keep it up and god bless!
Jess is an old soul, very wise. Most people don't realize at such a young age that it's the simple things in life that matter most. Having your own land, living your life in and among nature is a beautiful beginning, and a wonderful gift to your children. It was the happiest time in my own childhood living on my grandparents farm, spending time exploring the land. Those closest to nature understand God.
@@user-qu8zs7vs1x It has 'everything' to do with God, as all life, all that is alive....plants, animals, human beings, the air we breath, the planets, solar systems, stars, galaxies, and universes, all is God's spirit in motion, thus why he is called 'the' Creator.
@@user-qu8zs7vs1x well most people in the world believe in God and we can’t ALL be wrong, so jokes on you. you were born into a country that tolerates biblical practices & a country that was also built and established on biblical principles so that’s just something you’re going to have to deal with. i’m not sure what country you’re from but if you’re from america, you’re going to have to deal with people believing differently and if not you can leave.
I 100% agree with not posting your daughter on the internet, I've just had my baby girl a week and a half ago and the decision is both mutual between my partner and I and have asked our families to not post her online and we don't want photos shared. You guys know whats best! Don't let anyone make you feel bad about it :) x
the fact of growing together within a community that it new for the both of you makes a lot of sense, I'm so happy for you🧡 and as Jess said, I bet the lifestyle is completely different in a more positive way than Florida's and LA's
The fact that you guys are taking everything into consideration in how you want to raise your kids with your career is already respecting her so so much!
part of the conteam since the ldr days, surprising jess in australia, juju, tatatarget days. seeing this and seeing you guys grow... like a family makes me really really happy. i'm so happy on how God lead you to this road.
99% of kids even as adults wouldn’t ever seriously think “Are you embarrassed of me? Are you not proud of me?” They would only thank you for protecting them.
Just a reminder that God is with you at every step of your life. Always seek Him and His presence because you will always find a love that is unimaginable
Jess, I love you excitement for wanting a "slower pace" of life for your family unit! I grew up a few hours south of Nashville in Georgia, and my best core memories involve getting out in the garden or taking care of animals. I essentially grew up out in the yard whether it was domestic life or even being active, hitting softballs to my grandpa in the yard. So happy for you two!!
Jess, I totally can relate to wanting land. You described my dream - land with some animals and a garden 😍 I feel like nowadays there’s so much pressure to hustle and people forget about what really matters. Farm life takes me back to simpler times, more peaceful.
You guys don't exploit your relationship online. You're not one of those couple channels that is constantly playing jokes and pranks on each other which I find so non genuine. That being said, you are both very genuine people and I believe you will do whats best for your children when it comes to everything online.
i’m moving to south florida from nashville for college in a few months. i was excited at the possibility of running into you two and now you’re moving to nashville. timing is a funny thing😂 i hope you find the community you’re looking for in nashville 🫶🏽
You guys graciously let us into your lives for so long, and while we haven't seen everything, we've seen a lot. We've seen you grow and the changes and challenges you've endured, and we've never had the right to see your private lives but you let us in anyways. So thank you for that. We have no right to know anything about where you live or what you're doing or who your children are and will become. What you decide to share will be more than enough - it will be more than we even deserve to know. As long as you're happy and your baby is safe and loved, we couldn't ask for anything more ❤
Hey guys!! I've been watching you since the "Surprising my girlfriend in Australia" video and since you started the Jess and Gabriel channel!! I love you guys and I've loved watching your relationship blossom. From when you were dating to the engagement and then the wedding video which makes me very every time I watch it lol. I'm so happy for the two of you now welcoming your beautiful baby girl into this world but I personally wouldn't show her in vlogs right now cause there are so many weirdos in this world !! Please protect her from this world - I don't think the internet is the best place all the time so I personally would only show her once she's old enough to decide if she wants to be on or not. But it's up to you guys as always we will always support you🙏♥️ Maybe a picture of you guys all together when she's born and her face is semi covered by a hat and the blanket but not in every vlog... Maybe when she's like 21 or 30 lol. Anyways love you guys and congrats!!!
Questions answered 🥰 Regardless of the internet's opinions, we are happy as long as you guys are, Jess and Gabe ♡♡♡ Also, I love that they are so mature and they are still learning throughout their lives together 💕💕
New inside joke: unlocked 🔓 PS y'all look so happy and glowing!!! (and we all feel the same way!) my heart is literally about to burst. Sending y'all so so so so much love and support for what you decide on in the future 🤍
I love how your sit-down vids feel like a zoom call and we’re just catching up 🥰 I hope y’all are having a great time in Aussieland! Praying for you, Jess, as you enter the last leg of pregnancy 💕
I so respect your wishes not to share much or any of your baby girl on the internet ❤️ I follow some UA-camrs who don’t even share their child’s name for safety reasons and edit very carefully so baby’s face is never in the shot. Whatever you feel comfortable with, I imagine all your fans would respect!
I respect your lean toward protecting your child and not share her with the world 24/7. Children are precious and YOURS, not the worlds. Like you said, there is evil out there
I hope you do what’s right and best for you and your baby girl. Please don’t let people on the internet force you to show your baby girl. I know so many of us would love to see her beautiful face but we all know there’s a right time for everything.
Please don’t think that you are rude or selfish or mean or whatever for not sharing your daughter or any children with the world. YES you are able to not share her at all. YES it is REALISTIC even with your lives. Do what you want and honestly, people who will fight it don’t matter, we don’t matter over your own comfort and feelings
love y’all!! if i’m being honest, pray about it. ask God to give you a clear indication through His word on what you need to do. personally, i would steer away from showing her if you are even having doubts now. maybe one picture or two isn’t bad but consistently posting her in vlogs may not be the best. it loses those personal, sweet moments you guys want to experience with her that shouldn’t be shared with the whole world. the fact that you are even considering not, shows how much y’all already love this baby!!!! you guys are so great ❤️
I think keeping your daughter away from social media is very new age and the reasoning is very valid . I’ve noticed a few new parents go about it in different ways, from not posting at all (only showing friends and family), to only posting photos but not showing the baby’s face. I’m looking to not show my future kids faces and it’s something I’ve discussed with my boyfriend already. ✨ I hope y’all decide what’s best for you guys 💜
All your reasons going both ways are so valid and I know you both have your baby's best interest at heart. She is so loved already. You do what you need to to keep yourselves and your family safe.
Listen!!! I’m from Pittsburgh and don’t have an accent however I moved to Nashville and had a daughter. She speaks with a southern accent!!!!! Welcome to Nashville and good luck with her accent. It’s in the water I think
I think Jess mentioned "land" at the end for the last question because she was trying to explain that she yearns for that slower lifestyle that does not revolve around social media/online presence, so she wants her daughter to live a life offline as well :) When I was younger, growing up in the early 2000s, it was still a time of minimal Web presence, so I was able to have that offline, natural childhood experience, while also becoming introduced to a little bit of early UA-cam days and instant messaging, too. It was a healthy balance. I enjoyed watching and making music videos for UA-cam, but I also played using my imagination when hanging with friends and family.
I commented on a previous video about how God has called us to live in TN as well. Trusting God with this change is HUGE, especially with how the housing market is right now. We’re a military family transitioning back to civilian life and we’re so excited to finally get back to the swing of things again. Jess, I have the EXACT same dreams for our kids… raising and having chickens, gardens, lots of acreage! I feel like our generation is slowly starting to transition back to that lifestyle. It’s so nice to slow down and enjoy everything that God has to offer us. Good luck with EVERYTHING! We keep y’all in our prayers daily ☺️🙏🏼
I completely agree about keeping your baby off the internet. There is sooooo much exploitation surrounding children on the internet these days. Children are gifts from God and it’s so important to keep little ones safe. In my opinion it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks because she’s your daughter and her best interest is first.
Jess & Gabe enjoy your family time, your baby girl when she is born will change your life forever which is the best feeling you just have to cherish the time while she is a baby because they change so much, capture the moments privately. I understand how you feel about introducing her to social media. No know what kylie Jenner's son is like they just showed a foot or hand. I know that the ace family did there while there first born was a baby. but seriously all we will want to know that Jess is ok when she does go into labor and that she is born and you are all safe and happy. Jess you sure have had the quickest pregnancy, I do remember what it was like its the best feeling having your baby move in your tummy. Enjoy spending time with family in Australia.
You’ve mentioned having a family mission statement in a few videos (and a family retreat to set it up, etc.), and that whole concept is so interesting to me. Would you be open to sharing your mission statement, or just sharing your process of developing one and setting up the “family meetings” that are the foundation for those kinds of discussions?
Also Jefferson Bethke, his family, & the Pryor family are some of the first ones that came up with this language. They have several different podcasts about this very topic!
yayy you answered my question!! I specifically wrote y'all in it so that I could identify my question if you answered it haha! I've been following Gabe since Vine and your guys' channel since your first vlog, and I am so unbelievably excited to see you all happy and moving through this new stage of life. You all will be wonderful parents! Enjoy Australia :)
I have loved you guys for so long! When you guys recorded your Christian song covers I listened to it nonstop! It is so refreshing to watch Christian influencers online. So excited for you guys and your growing family💕
There’s a UA-camr from South Korea named Roa that (I think) has navigated how much to show of her child fairly well. I’m really excited for you both, and it’s so great to hear that you’re really considering how exposed your child will be on the Internet. Safe travels to Australia!!!
You're such a God fearing amazing mama Jess already! It's so inspiring to see this and you've never ever resonated so closely to me in this season of life like never before! Thank you! and yes I feel so torn about posting the baby as well on the internet.
I always turn to your channel when I am feeling alone, anxious or down. You are my safe space. It’s so special to see these doors opening for your family & to see God guiding you guys through it all. Sending love from Idaho 🤍
I agree with you guys - the internet is not always a good place. You know best! Of course we would love to see baby girl and future children but protecting her is #1! We respect any decision you guys make ☺️🤗
I really like how Aspyn Ovard incorporates her kids into her vlogs. She talks about her life and shows her kids here and there but they are definitely not the star of the show it’s still about her. She will show different things that she gets them or different activities she makes for them to do but they are really not in the vlogs often. I don’t know if you know of her but I would consider watching a couple videos and seeing what you think. Love you both!
I love that you guys want to be so intentional with every decision you are making about your daughter. You should check out how Zoe and alfie do their Vlogs with their daughter. They at that the Vlogs are about them. Not their daughter they just happen to be parents now. They will should her but they won’t do videos dedicated just to her really. The content is about you guys not her.
13:25 It could be a cool idea to still film stuff of your daughter but keep it private to look at for yourselves and then one day when shes older you could ask her if shes okay with you guys posting it. Don’t feel obligated to do anything. You guys are amazing as people and will be amazing parents regardless. Continue to be in prayer about anything you need answers for. Either way, we love you guys and remember that just because you don’t post about it, doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Film/ record what you want and post whatever you want, but know that we know you’re humans and your lives don’t always have to be social media 24/7 just for us. ❤️❤️
Florida especially the high end neighborhoods are filled with beautiful people. There’s always people everywhere you go. You can’t escape anything if it’s a personal issue. Gabriel is a very social person. You have to be confident to be married to someone like that.
I’ve been watching your videos since you guys got married. I love watching your videos. I look forward when your videos drop. I’m so happy for your growing family. Enjoy your time in Australia.GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY!!!!
I've seen many youtubers with kids and they show them but they'll cover their face editing, both on videos and their social media, they still talk abt what they do with their kids and all I've seen a good response to that honestly
I've been following you since the binging, meeting your baby is like I'm meeting my sister baby we are so excited for you guys , plus no rush do it when you guys feel comfortable with it ,we will love her even if we don't see her ,,,,
You have to do what is right for you guys whether you share your daughter, there is no right or wrong so don’t be influenced by others, I’ve watched many that do choose to share and lots that don’t, the ones that do say it will be lovely memories they also choose not to show if the child/children are upset, being a little naughty etc but the choice should be yours and what you are comfortable with 🥰
I'm so excited for you two to be in Nashville! We moved here actually today last year and it has been the best decision ever! It feels like the PERFECT place to raise a family! You're going to love it here 💛
My husband and I chose not to post our baby on the internet and we asked our friends and family not to either. Thier are so many creepy people and for her future job as well. I would understand if you didn't. Im so excited for y'all
She will not feel like you are ashamed of her at all if you don't show her. It is such a big sign of how much you respect her as an individual to keep her life private until she can choose. I love the channel ThisGatheredNest, who live on a farm and have lots of kids but the main focus is just on the parents and the animals, with the kids just kind of running round in the background or whatever, rather than family channels where the kids are all the content. Just from the fact that you are thinking of all the options so much shows that you will not exploit her and will make the best choice for your family.
I've lived in the Carolinas (from Palm Beach Gardens, FL!) since I was 12, and I only started saying y'all within the last couple years (I'm 29). You get used to it! Now I say it without thinking about it!
I live in Eastern Tennessee. I live on a farm and it is totally worth it. You learn new things and get your hands dirty which just feels amazing lol. You can take walks through nature, gather from your garden, help birth a baby goat😂 So many amazing things can happen on a farm you just can’t find in a city. Not to mention it’s so peaceful lol. I feel like raising your kids on a farm is an amazing idea. I just wanted to share just in case it encourages y’all in any way😅 But anyway, I’m so happy for y’all! 🤍
They say they're not going to share their daughter but then like every. single. UA-camr. they'll do so a few months down the line. I really hope that baby is safe and protected from online creeps.
I have been watching you guys for what seems like forever! I just want to say I am genuinely so proud of you guys, and can't wait for your baby to come and spend the best life with her two amazing parents!!!

@@AShroudOfTruth don't impose your religion and your made up god on others.
@@user-qu8zs7vs1x Ok grumpy. You realize, don't you, that this is a 'Christian' channel. So why are you here spewing out your ignorance?
Yes I support you in keeping your baby protected and private, I think it is so important for more reasons than 1!
99% of kids even as adults wouldn’t ever seriously think “Are you embarrassed of me? Are you not proud of me?” They would only thank you for protecting them.
I reckon they were just trying to be balanced and not offend those that post their kids
Just a reminder that God is with you at every step of your life. Always seek Him and His presence because you will always find a love that is unimaginable
It's crazy how many people are moving to Nashville now!! So excited for you guys!
Jess: “Can y’all get me a glass of wata” she’s so funny and adorable 😂❤️ I love them
ua-cam.com/video/5wZtXNwxwU8/v-deo.html vlog !!
As long as you're happy and your baby is safe and loved, we couldn't ask for anything more ❤
Y’all are going to be the best parents, she’s so blessed already ❤️
Anyways love you guys and congrats!!!
yes the Labrant family should learn from this! i feel so sorry for those poor sweet girls.
ua-cam.com/video/5wZtXNwxwU8/v-deo.html vlog ;)
Agreed, do it like Gigi Hadid!
Questions answered 🥰 Regardless of the internet's opinions, we are happy as long as you guys are, Jess and Gabe ♡♡♡
Also, I love that they are so mature and they are still learning throughout their lives together 💕💕
Sooo happpy u r keeping the baby's privacy. as she grows, I'm sure she'll be thankful for that
New inside joke: unlocked 🔓
PS y'all look so happy and glowing!!! (and we all feel the same way!) my heart is literally about to burst. Sending y'all so so so so much love and support for what you decide on in the future 🤍
I'm excited for these adorable thoughtful folks to have the baby and give it the best life. How kind and mature!
I love how your sit-down vids feel like a zoom call and we’re just catching up 🥰 I hope y’all are having a great time in Aussieland! Praying for you, Jess, as you enter the last leg of pregnancy 💕
Man, you guys are such an amazing couple to watch from afar. You truly are a blessing and an encouragement. God is using you to bless so many lives💙
Like you said, there is evil out there
never been this earlyyyyy excited for this video but also the Australia vlogs!!! 😍🥰
I hope you do what’s right and best for you and your baby girl. Please don’t let people on the internet force you to show your baby girl. I know so many of us would love to see her beautiful face but we all know there’s a right time for everything.
Thank you for showing me what healthy love looks like 🥹
Totally agree about protecting her. Personally I’d show her from the back only. Not her face. But support whatever you choose as parents. 🙌
Honestly, no pressure on whatever content you post about your baby (: anything that make you comfortable. Hope you've a peaceful time!
Praying for safe travels, peace of heaven over your family and home, and peace over you both as soon to be parents!
I hope y’all decide what’s best for you guys 💜
everything in this world is temporary and its nice for you to leave a house for others to appreciate. god bless your beautiful family
Woah that’s so weird y’all are moving so close!!!
bush x conte family vlog👀
I remember the vlog where Bobby first mentioned J & G to you, it was like teasing a crossover between two shows
All your reasons going both ways are so valid and I know you both have your baby's best interest at heart.
You guys are my favorite. May God bless you and your family and May God protect you all and Jess during birth.
Jess: We make plans and God laughs.
Me: Story of my life, sister!
So glad that God's plan is bigger and better than our own!
Yayyy welcome to Tennessee!!! Congrats on the baby girl and expanding your family 💗
If you go to the last slide on Gabe's Instagram post from April 4th, I'm pretty sure that this is their mission statement :)
I live just outside of Nashville. Welcome to Tennessee YA'LL
this is just the most wholesome space on yt I love you guys
Watching your growth since you both met makes me so emotional I love you guys, good luck for the rest of the pregnancy.
Florida especially the high end neighborhoods are filled with beautiful people. There’s always people everywhere you go. You can’t escape anything if it’s a personal issue. Gabriel is a very social person. You have to be confident to be married to someone like that.
Hearing y’all is so normal, especially being from GA 🍑 😂 even Jess accent with yall literally couldn’t be more normal to us
It was sad seeing a bunch of comments judging you guys for moving to Nashville. I’m glad you guys are happy and life looks so exciting for “y’all” ! 😉
I’ve been watching your videos since you guys got married. I love watching your videos. I look forward when your videos drop. I’m so happy for your growing family. Enjoy your time in Australia.GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY!!!!
I've seen many youtubers with kids and they show them but they'll cover their face editing, both on videos and their social media, they still talk abt what they do with their kids and all
I've seen a good response to that honestly
I've been following you since the binging, meeting your baby is like I'm meeting my sister baby we are so excited for you guys , plus no rush do it when you guys feel comfortable with it ,we will love her even if we don't see her ,,,,
You have to do what is right for you guys whether you share your daughter, there is no right or wrong so don’t be influenced by others, I’ve watched many that do choose to share and lots that don’t, the ones that do say it will be lovely memories they also choose not to show if the child/children are upset, being a little naughty etc but the choice should be yours and what you are comfortable with 🥰
The way Jess is looking at Gabe 4:00
You guys are the cutest ever! 🥰
I can’t wait for you two to get plugged in and grow in a new community. And have your own chickens 🥹
When they both go, "y'all, y'all, y'all....."😂😂😂😂. Love you guys
I am all for maintaining some level of privacy on social media when it comes to one’s children
Your home looks gorgeous 🤍 wishing you both so much peace and joy during this season x
I honestly love how mature you guys are😊✨you guys are going to be the best parents❤️
They say they're not going to share their daughter but then like every. single. UA-camr. they'll do so a few months down the line. I really hope that baby is safe and protected from online creeps.
I have been watching you guys for what seems like forever! I just want to say I am genuinely so proud of you guys, and can't wait for your baby to come and spend the best life with her two amazing parents!!!
so excited i live in south carolina and i’m so happy to have y’all in the south now!💛🥰
y'all dont need Google, Google needs you! love you guys and excited for your new life in nash
