Nice-looking machine. Replace the plastic a arm guards they're well worth the effort they're only for deflecting sticks. Heavy aluminum we'll just keep the mud in place and wreck your rubber boots on the axles. Love our old 400 great machine as well lots of miles. Thanks for the video
If you want to increase performance drastically, get yourself a CVTech primary and a flash tune. On a light ATV like this, you’ll probably have a hard time keeping the front wheels down 👍 you can calibrate these CVTechs for peak power when stock clutches leave so much power go to waste.
@@naterides7392 no problem, it really turns it into a different animal. On my 650 outlander, I went from 45whp stock to 49.3whp with an ECU tune on the dyno, then with a CVTech primary and dalton secondary yel/blk spring, we saw 56HP at the wheels. For comparison, a stock 850 outlander makes about 54-55hp at the wheels. Because peak HP is 8000rpm on the 650 v-twins, I had my clutch calibrated for 8100rpm full shift out and over rev is 8500. Huge difference compared to the stock clutch’s 7300rpm full shift out lol 😂
if you want the 450 to wheelie do a clutch spring or a clutch spring and an ECU Flash if you do the clutch spring and the ECU flasher pick up more Power and wheelie really easy
Clutch kits are a waste of money as you’re basically putting a bandaid on very flawed stock clutches. For big power, get a CVTech primary calibrated for peak HP, you won’t regret it.

If I were to get the snorkel, would it leave a big hole in my display box because in some videos that I have seen when they cut it on the sides are big holes
I have just passed 1200 miles on my 16 450 runs really good other than we have a 4wd problem havent been able to fix it it leaks a little oil every once and awhile but cant switch it in and out replaced the pin and looked at the mechanism that turns it and it works but cant figure out the oil thing either weve replaced seals 4 times and no luck if you have any suggestions would be appreciated been a great quad other than that just run it stuck in 4wd
It leaks at the at where the drive shaft meets the engine and actuator there’s a pin in there the inner fender on the passenger side needs pulled out to see it

Great ATV ... i just bought the same one, they went WAY up in price, but so far, its been good. I think it has plenty of power for trail riding
Nate get a rjwc exhaust with a quiet core they sound so good on a 450 I know from experience

How do you do an ECU flash? ... will it void the warranty? Are clutch springs hard to upgrade?
@@gearjammer2107 easiest way is to send it to Mr. RPM but I don’t know how on warranties if it voids it or not

i weigh 132lbs and my outlander wheelies where ever and when ever u just got to learn the unit

Where does it leak?
Engine or diffs?

Goo gone, I power washed mine off and after used goo gone on where they were
