I have incredible love for Michael Fassvender and James Mcavoy since X-men. Hope they do more films, gets beautiful opportunities and be happy forevermore.
they don't have a relationship, its business, they talk because Fassbender is being paid to promote the film, pretending otherwise is the most annoying thing about Horowitz.
@@expectationlostthey’ve known each other for years lmao, of course they have a relationship. Hell, I’ve met him enough times this year that I also have a relationship with him.
Steve Jobs is my favorite, in fact I saw it again on BD two nights ago and Jane Eyre . Marvelous interview with the marvelous Michael Fassbender. Congrats Josh !
He is great. If he managed to get a big main role he'd definitely be recognized more. Talking about starring as a main character in a Nolan, Scorsese, Bond movie...
I think Fassbender may be one of the least neurotic actors in the business. I get the idea that films are one part of his life that Fassbender enjoys, but he's going to make certain he can drop in and out so he can enjoy the 15 other areas he loves. "Hey, I gotta surf, race, and enjoy my family--don't want to waste any time!." Fassbender and Fincher seems like a great match between a director and an actor.
It's not a straight up comedy but it is pretty funny at parts. You might not have laughed but there was plenty of scenes that were attempting to be funny. You should check out some recent interviews with Fincher, he definitely wanted the movie to make you laugh quite a bit.
Loved THE KILLER. Micheal was perfect super talented individual. The film I must say may not seem for everyone at first glance but now having multiple viewing I have been able to see well maybe it just me but the character refunding his re- connection with his humanity through our the movie. Even braking his own rules bringing himself closer to a goal that seems even unconscious to him a cold calculated individual at the top of his class no doubt.
Calling The Killer a comedy is like calling The Martian a comedy just so the film can be added to a categorised award nomination for the actor to attend..
Just putting it out there, Michael should 100% be the DCU's Batman! Aside from fitting the bill for the character, generally, he's also about the age they seem to be looking for and just recently became a father in his forties like Bruce with Damian, which is proportedly the relationship the film is to revolve around. All that and you know getting to maybe drive the Batmobile would be a selling point for Michael. Just sayin'...
imagine calling an hack like watiti a genius. The killer was also a chore, what a disappointment from Fincher, but we know the director is just a host and the movie happen on its own. I was just looking for an KungFury 2 update, anyway.

Not just "X-Men: Days of Future Past", he's great in "The Killer", "Steve Jobs", "Inglourious Basterds", "Shame" and "12 Years a Slave".

Steve jobs and 12 years a slave

I'm devouring all the "The Killer" content I can find; this interview was great.
Same, such a breath of fresh air as a film.
Good Lord …even doing a recall of that line from Inglorious made the hairs on my arm stand up.
What a sequence and what a performer. Brilliant.
Watching Josh interacting with the actors he has had a relationship with for a while, makes it like a comfort movie of its own! So good

One can never know these things. But genuinely, he seems like such a lovely man.
Fassbender is such an incredibly good actor. He makes every movie better
Yep.
He is great. If he managed to get a big main role he'd definitely be recognized more. Talking about starring as a main character in a Nolan, Scorsese, Bond movie...
This man and antony starr are the TOP leading men ...truly believable on Everything they make!!
Those two in a movie together would be amazing.
@@squoblat would be to much testosterone...
Michael Fassbender has been one of the most underrated actors, of this generation!
FANTASTIC ACTOR can do any role
This is so much fun! We want Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander to star in Hope! This is exciting!
Fassbender is a terrific actor. I thought the voice over at the start of the film was a mistake. But as the film got quieter, it got better.
He would be a great James Bond!
One of best actors alive , and seems like a proper chill nice dude

loved the film from start to finish. and the historical accuracy (where it is accurate) is really really cool.
This was fantastic to watch. Thanks!
So happy to see Michael in movies, again! He is genuinely one of my favorite actors!
Did Josh say he was 47? Christ, I would have clocked him for mid 30s, late at a push. Man is looking good for his age
Don’t worry I’ll fall apart one of these days! 😀
@@JoshHorowitz You look amazing ! Michael's also 47
Love the x men films and Micheal is fantastic as the younger eric. I hope he returns
i understand if ppl can't have irl interviews but this is giving me pandemic vibes
I'd love to see him back as Magneto in the X-Men movies
I don't think actors like this want to make movies like that anymore.
such a great actor!
With that smile in the thumbnail, I can easily picture him playing The Joker.
i wouldnt say The killer was a comedy but love Michael. as always

It's very subtle black comedy, much more so than Barry Lyndon
I think Micheal would be awesome in a bullet remake playing the part of Steve McQueen with his driving skills. Maybe a modern remake???
i wish for a new McQueen-Fassbender movie
I'm amazed by the fact that Josh is 47. I thought he was in his mid 30s.

I loved the movie The Killer 😊
Michael 🤩
Has anyone seen Next Goal Wins yet? Fassbender in a Comedy is very intriguing!
24:30 Josh, your "Diet" was a spot on Irish accent
40:30 I always assumed it was Poe Dameron actually
AT AT Imperial Walker. He sounds like that Sean Connery spoof from Venture Bros!
This is so funny
A max paynish movie?! Less go!
Really hope The Fass makes a multiverse MCU appearance at some point! That’d be fun as hell he was one of the best parts of the prequel movies!
Literally me
43:05 nooo I'm so upset that glitched.
Great interview as always Josh. Love Fassbender and I’m always pulling for him.
It's been 12 years since he took the role of magneto
who is up for Michael Fassbender as Bond?
LETS GOOOO
I wonder if Fassbender will make a cameo in Deadpool 3? 🤔

No Bond question? :(
Why would he ask him Bond questions?
@@Largentina. google why he would
@@S0mewhat_Damaged I did. And I'm glad Josh and I agree that there was no reason to ask him.

@@S0mewhat_Damaged Yeah. Everyone with a differing opinion is a bot. That's a great perspective to have.
Oh my gosh I can see why people can mistake him for Ewan lmaaooo like they looks so different but i can totally see it 🤣
40:28 Michael would have been even back then too old for Kylo Ren. It was probably Oscar Isaacs character.
