Since I'm a sort of a musician, in my spare time this is the music I listen to and compose. Thank you for the musical bump that I call," Chill out music."
The old adage of a showman that children and dogs will always upstage you rings true as grass-nibbling perrito is wrenching on screen over your right shoulder as you introduce WhatsApp 😂😂😂😂😂
At 60, I always feel tech challenged, so this is probably a dumb question, but for banking and two step verification…my understanding is WhatsApp can not be used ? I have gone through a nightmare trying to port over my number to Google voice for that two step verification and still working on it because we had spectrum mobile, which they tell us now is classified as a landline ? Challenging for me… Thx for the great video !
So the issue you are having is that your bank is backwards and weird. That something is classified as a landline has no bearing on the ability to send two factor (we can send 2FA to land lines from my texting company no problem), it is purely your bank refusing to do business with you. They are being tech snobs and are using their banking position as a means to force you to pay an extortion fee to a US cell carrier. Don't think that they don't get a little kickback for that. They CAN use 2FA to WhatsApp, too, they just choose to only use SMS. That Spectrum mobile is ACTUALLY a cell phone but CLASSIFIED as a land line is an even bigger problem. Your bank is flat out not being responsible. Honestly, I would switch banks. I'm going to make a quick video about this. But bottom line, if your bank can't figure out how to properly do 2FA, why trust them with your money?
So this is a great extra video to make. IF your goal is calling around the US, yes. If you want to call businesses in Nicaragua, no. That's what your WhatsApp is going to do. Part of the issue is that a LOT of people and businesses don't have phones, only WhatsApp, so if you get a working IP phone, you still can't call them. I own a VoIP telephony business in the US, so we have working US phones here with no problem. Great for what they do, but not useful for "life in Nicaragua."

I noticed that later when I was doing the final approval after editing. She always throws up after eating grass.
Interesting, I read in this morning's news that Frontier is filing for bankruptcy. Hmm?
For my viewers... that is Frontier Communications, the fiber ISP from Rochester New York, NOT Frontier Airlines that flies heavily to Central America.

This is 1 yr old….has things changed at all? Thanks!
Nope, things remain the same on that front :)
An IP phone is also an option.
