I wish there was a unit like that in my state too. The number of cases of crimes against women is at lower percentage here in comparison to the rest of the country but these statistics should not decide factor for such important safety measures. It doesn’t matter if the percentage is low someone out there, even if it’s just one person they are still suffering so we should have a unit like this everywhere. This is so empowering best of luck to you guys. I hope you gain more and more recognition and do better for our country.

@@anitachandra2030 Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Logically speaking anyone with a working brain knows that it’s not 100% safe but thankfully in my personal experience for me and people around me. I’ve always felt safe here till a great extent. Coming back home at 3 or 4 is never a problem. During Navratri me and my girlfriends who were 13-14 at the time would come home alone in rickshaws. There will always be a lingering fear like what if I turn out to be that few percentage of women who become victims of something heinous No matter how safe it feels there’s always that nervous feeling. Also I find Gujarati people a lot less orthodox. Most of them are not people pleaser’s, they love what they do so Instead of adjusting or worrying about what the community will say they make their community fit for what they like. My experiences in Gujarat so far has been great. Other cities of Gujarat that is fit in my opinion of liveability is Surat. The most chill, fun loving and at the same time the most socially aware people ever.

@patriarchy wins these women are not from military they are more of a volunteer group of women, Super strong one at that. The ones they are fighting will be human trash who I’m pretty sure they can beat. So stop sitting there and complaining when you won’t even be able to do half the things these ladies are doing. I wouldn’t mind a unit of men doing the same job either. Since It’s not about man and women. The main reason why this is so great is because of the cause they are fighting for. So stop making this about gender. Men get abused too and I am pretty sure these young ladies won’t turn their eyes away from them.

Another of those fake journalistic episodes by this channel which sells sensational dumps by using the notion of gender equality. Sissi*s(including the pretentious anchor with the witch hair...what is that btw😂😂 ) will remain sissi*s till they accept that the only way to stop violence is through gender sensitization investments early on in schooling by creating a combined girl boy co existence model through social engineering. This kind of rambo style naamkaran approach doesn't help anyone. Policing is meant to be harmony instilling based in a community not aggressive army based training which is meant for hostiles with weapons. I don't see a reason for a police constable to carry a weapon and wear a combat styled uniform unless there is a open threat situation clealry declared under disturbed areas act. Assam is no more under the threat of ULFA for the police to pursue such aggression infused training or under disturbed areas act. Much of the problems are cultural and societal. Empowering these women will only increase the already rampant moral policing situation in india leading to harassment of couples in the name of morality including extraction of bribes.
The kind of training being showcased shows how poorly planned the entire training program is by that fats* dgp of Assam police who is gloating on his achievement without realising the half baked plan of his. It's only meant to showcase him as progressive but its infact very superficial and not the actual solution to the problem of gender sensitivity within both genders. The real solution happens through gender familiarity and sensitization not aggressive posturing and exacerbation of conflict driven approaches between both genders by pitching one against the other.
All the mindkess stunts in the name of commando training which in any case is diluted and only commando in name here(I know what actually survival training means) may make the women seem invincible, imbibing a little hard headedness and confidence but the physical strength of men is not stoppable by aggressive behaviour from women. It will further worsen it for women caught in a already threatened situation. Self defence is very different to aggressive indoctrination.
These kind of pet projects are more for projection of the police officers incharge for their career and ambition rise rather than real meaning. And these shallow snowflake feminaaazzi journalists sell stories by using the trainee women as bait to lure increased clicks on UA-cam.
Tell real stories brut not superflous stories which are merely for fake projection and empty change. Another of those shallow minds who are incapable to find a lasting solution to real problems but instead focus on superficiality and pretentious self righteousnes

By the way u are comparing them with men , did they say anything bad to men.
Or any body is sending them in battle field .
And it's not because of physical strength women are not allowed in battle field because there is two reason period and pregnancy.
If u are saying that women don't have strength then go and talk with girls who are suffering from Secondary dysmenorrhea.
