Tapping class from Kanami! Incredibly tight playing class from everyone. A classic instrumental from the ladies and a great reaction, Velcro. PS We love rewinding!
This one isn't from 2020 Shibuya, it's from their 2018 Zepp Tokyo performance. They played this many times during their recent US tour and it is a VERY WELL LOVED song by the Ladies. Kanami is using one of delay pedals plus she is using trem picking, tapping and hammer ons and pull offs. Also this is one of the few songs that Kanami actually uses the trem/whammy bar on her guitar. And you don't need to apologize for rewinding or stopping. We want to hear your thoughts on the music.

There USED to be several performances from the 2017 Studio Coast concert on Yt, but they aren't currently. If you go looking for them however, you may be able to find them. The songs you would really want are Moratorium, Puzzle, Cross, Matchless Gum from that concert.

Kind of like Kanami at Aftershock Festival with her bonnet - said enough, threw it down and just let it all hang out! 😂. Great footage of that - I think it was during 5th song Unleash!!!! You should check that out for fun sometime.
Rewatched your first Band-Maid video and saw you asked about Miku singing by herself. She does do that on a number of songs but only one is up on their official channel. It is an acoustic from their 2021 Christmas acoustic streamed concert. "Sayonakidori" is the song. A couple of others which are regular electric that feature Miku are "Time" and "Rock in Me" but there are no videos up for them only the CD versions. "Rock in Me" is on "World Domination" and "Time" is on "Just Bring It."

It usually is a short section with an instrumental song, another sung by Miku (yes, she has her own songs, a bit more "poppy") and a bit of funny chit-chat before the return of Saiki. This ladies have everything thought of, they are true professionals There's a TON of B-M songs for you to enjoy, but if you wanna try something different, you should check out their acoustic versions on youtube. There's two of them from an acoustic show livestreamed at december 2021, great stuff! And since you asked, i'll throw another japanese bands that you may like: Glim Spanky (classic rock), Nemophila (metal), Lovebites (power metal), Gacharic Spin (hard to describe honestly... crazy powerpop? idk lol)

MISA MISA MISA!!!!! the counter melody Miku could CRUSH NOW but in 2018 when this was recorded Miku had only been playing for 3 Years (approx) so they were using a backing track.
Glad you really loved Onset- its very popular among all the fans :) It was my first BM song and instantly got me into them. Hope you keep doing more! Just remember to always do either official lives (which will have the most views) or the music videos for the songs that have them - not the newest video of a song - that will probably be a fan cam with terrible audio! Try maybe no god if you want to hear some of Misa's best work if you pay attention - she's going off the whole song. As for MVs- that are obviously to some of their best songs, that most fans will say - do the MV! to - Warning, blooming, Dice, daydreaming (for an epic power ballad), manners- and more! They have 2 other amazing instrumentals too- without holding back (white room MV - hard to find the full band video but its best) and 'From now on' their newest and best instrumental that just came out a few month ago. They have so many amazing songs and no bad ones!

Kanami Tono is the lead guitarist and main composer/arranger of their songs though Misa (bassist) and Akane Hirose (drummer) do help arrange their parts. Welcome to the greatest rock band in the world! It took me a couple songs to get used to their sound and the mostly Japanese lyrics but I quickly became obsessed.

at 5.23 you say you like the miku counter melody its actually kanami on a keyboard on the backing track. kanami has also for some time said she wants to be as strong as miku so she can strum as fast as the pigeon can.
@@VelcroReacts Miku is more than talented to do the melody but they like to use the backing tracks still as kanami likes to add in the layers and even thins like piano and trumpet. miku is the hardest working amongst the group as apart from the instrument play and her own lead vocal songs for the band as well as all the MC parts at the concerts. she works her socks off doing all the promotion stuff for the band as well as the interviews she also has her "Cluppo" side project. Miku also makes her appearances on any tv show she can get on she recently did really well on a poker tv tournament .
We all loved the Tiny Hat! MISA left it to Akane, but it's hard to rock it, especially for Akane, being on the drums. But, that Counterpoint is Kanami as well. You can hear Miku playing, but Kanami is also playing on the Backing Track that they're all playing to. Nearly everything on the Backing Tracks is almost all Kanami, Guitar, Synth and Effects. Akane might put in a gong or Miku and Saiki double their vocals, but all the rest is Kanami.

I was wondering when you were going to get to this one. It is really something special. Rewinding is compulsory enjoyment. Do it as often as you see fit. No-one will complain. Miku's crunching Zemitis MF guitar is a huge part of the Bandmaid sound in all of their songs in my opinion. It wouldn't be Bandmaid without it. Or Misa's bass. Or Akane's drums. Or Kanami's guitar. Or Saiki's vocals.
