I know this is an old video but I seems to me that the problem with the string spacing is that the wound and sympathetic strings are switched. I would think the regular strings should all be in the regular pins and the sympathetic stings offset
Great Coverage.. I am looking for something similar with the two octave sets covering the mids.. Ry Cooder has a double G facing octaves and it empowers the often weak string.. I thought I noticed an unusual gap between strings esp near the bottom but as I watched you measure it occurred to me that perhaps it is clearance for the bass strings.. just a thought.. I appreciate your thoroughness..

Can’t you get the saddle replaced under warranty? Looks like a manufacturing / fit and finish issue.
