Im happy that Italeri did the fuselage in sections rather than just 1 left and 1 right...otherwise by the time you get to the opposite end from where you started to glue would be dry and you would need a LOT of clamps to hold it together
I used to be an enthusiastic model builder myself, but often don't have the time for professional reasons anymore.Italeri's assembly instructions are a little confusing when it comes to assembling the fuselage. But both are great airplane models. Bye Hans.
@@The_Male_Modeller l did.....i it should bebme thanking you for the video.....seriously thinking of getting one but i have no idea where to put it due to space restrictions and its size.....even at 1/72: these things are HUGE
@@jaws848 haha, yeah they are a beast. Maybe get Academy's 1/144scale one? I've heard really good things. I've not built one myself but they're about the size of a 1/72 Lancaster. A lot more manageable!

Haha yep. It should make up to a nice kit indeed. Simpler than the Revell kit with less options to have doors open and flaps down etc but a nice addition to a collection for people with enough room for one. They are big!
@@The_Male_Modeller Actually since there is detail in the upper wing for the flap bays to be seen when the flaps are open. The thing about B-52 flaps is that fully deployed they actually stop at the rearward edge of the wing and drop almost straight down pretty much defying any sort of logic about flap design yet they work that way on the real B-52's.

Hi! The Italeri kit is actually an old AMT kit repop. Still a decent'ish kit though!

The Monogram tooling is much more accurate in basic shape.
