Batocera Advanced Sinden Light Gun Settings

This is a quick tutorial on how to choose your settings properly on batocera for Sinden Light guns.
Different consoles and emulators will populate different setting options. Check your settings for each light gun game prior to launching.
Currently on batocera v38 PS2 games are playing on the emulator mentioned and in order to pass the calibration screen, you need to push the front right button to have the crosshair show. Once the crosshair shows, you must press the left back button while aiming at the crosshair to bypass.

I recently built a cabinet using game room solutions for the cab and a mini PC with Batocera v.37 as I love my 80's video games. I had never done anything close to this and honestly had no idea what I was doing. I watched tons of videos to learn. It's been done for several months and is playable however, I had issues with controls and buttons not working in some games. I just couldn't find any videos that helped. I stumbled on your videos by accident and am so happy that I did. I was able to fix all of my issues quickly thanks to your videos. I was bummed out and frustrated but, now I play my favorite game, Arkanoid, and can actually use my spinner now. Plan on adding Sinden's soon. Great job and many, many thanks.

You can start by going to the menu. If you have sinden plugged in, you’ll see “Sinden light gun settings” populate under controllers. Set your border to thin. Then you can go back and set game aspect ratio to “full”. Now you’ll only have a thin border on a full stretch screen.

hello I just got this magnificent sinden with a batocera image I just have a problem I don't have the viewfinder on the screen on the games PlayStation 1 PlayStation 2 and Wii have you found a tip thank you in advance

Within the Sinden Lightgun Software, are all your "Button Assignment" settings default? I'm trying to get this working on a Pi5 running Batocera
