- Everton impressed in spells but could not find a goal their play often deserved in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
Frank Lampard’s men were dominant in possession for the majority of the second half, without carving out a clear-cut chance to threaten Magpies keeper Nick Pope.
And the contest was decided just after the half-hour mark when Miguel Almiron curled a left-foot finish past Jordan Pickford from the edge of the penalty area.

I don't understand why Everton's line-up is always the same whether it's losing or winning and maybe only the front has been changed and that's not much, I don't know how long it will take so he realizes that there must be a change in the composition of the players.

Our attack is shambolic. 0 shots on target all game with an xG of 0.12.Disgrace, Gray needs dropping ASAP, has offered nothing for weeks and was lazy at times I thought, defence was pretty good it's just our attack that let's us down week in week out. We've got Palace at home next, that's an opportunity to grab 3 points that we need to take.
We have a everything but an attack it seems. Its still early season ish so I'm not giving up hope yet as some others do but we do need to sort this out sooner rather than later
