The ONLY reason anyone cares about the WNBA is because of Caitlin Clark. They didn’t move last night’s game to Capital One Arena and sell out the place for the Mystics, lol.
Skip, she's not just a femalel Steph Curry. Because she's such a great shooter people tend to forget her court vision and passing skills. She led the NCAAW in assists in addition to scoring. She is actually a combo of Steph Curry and Magic Johnson. Put her in a Pat Riley or Mike D'Antoni fast break system and she'd average 30-10-10 a night.

Talk about Caitlin Clark is good because she represent much needed change in the WNBA. She's good at playing basketball, display professionalism and a good role model especially for the younger generations. Her qualities will elevate women playing basketball to a greater heights.

Right after this video came out, she drops 30 pts including seven 3s. Most of those threes were from deep, step backs, fading away/to the side. Other girls in the WNBA can shoot 3s also but CC’s just looks different.
I don’t watch sports in general let alone the WNBA and somehow Clark’s drawn my attention to watch her play.

Everyone, including the opposition, should enjoy this talent as it’s happening. Because, you may never see it again! Lastly, I am very confident that what she is accomplishing now, will be by far her worst statistical season of her career in the WNBA. With more experience (like with Jordan), far greater heights will be achieved. Go Fever!

she's not steph skip. i called her that when i first seen her early this past iowa season but she is more like a cross between stockton and jj reddick. she needs to develop her game more. that over use of the three is not a developed game.
She is a better , more complete player than Steph ever has been . Steph a whittle fella . These are facts . She is a large female guard . Steph no defense and no rebounding . CC actually blocks shots if you have been paying attention.

caitlin is closer to lonzo than steph in terms of offensive play style. the only comp to steph is the range and shot creation. but the super high pace transition full court passes, her run and gun pace and her playmaking in general are what stand out more to me than the shooting. she plays almost a hybrid of basketball and football and it's a very exciting aggressive style. in order to be like steph tho she needs a more complete scoring repertoire, especially around the rim. people forget that steph is probably second only to kyrie in terms of elite finishing as a guard. from what i've seen she has a solid right handed scoop layup, which is effective but also predictable and gets blocked often. she at least needs a reliable floater, and some semblance of a mid range game. also i've noticed even when going left she finishes with her right hand, in fact i've actually never seen her finish at the rim with her left. not to mention her off ball movement is very stagnant at times. she's definitely got a lot to add to her game before she's at full power, but to me she's extremely fun to watch. really looking forward to seeing how she develops.
