Love this! Isn't Colorado beautiful? We are also very spontaneous travelers & have certainly missed a spot or two (though I think we've made up for it in seizing last-minute opportunities!). Thanks for sharing - we just subscribed & are excited to follow along on your journey!
@@CreativesEnRoute it sure is beautiful! We definitely want a return visit! You’re so right about seizing opportunities that you can’t plan for! Thanks for subbing! We’ve subbed back! Will browse your videos once we’re back home - we’re on the road!
Hello! Just happened upon your video. First, just FYI, Salida is pronounced Sa-lie-da. I live in Pagosa Springs where you passed through. It’s a great place for hiking, rafting, tubing and more. There are 3 commercial hot springs, and other natural hot springs. The pass you went over was Wolf Creek Pass, topping out a little over 10,000feet. The ski area is known for the most annual snowfall, usually 300-400feet of snow. Durango is a great town, but does get very busy with tourists. In your video towards Cortez, on the left is Mesa Verde National Park, a very interesting ancient sight, and the whole 4 corners area has ancient dwellings all around. I’ve lived over 50 years in Colorado and still find so many places to explore.
@@MomGiveACare thank you for all the info! Colorado is the first state we want to go back to to explore in its entirety! So much beauty and history for a passing through road trip! You’re so fortunate to live there!
You are doing such very nice video editing. Great combo of driving shots with the multi-image montage.
@@pl5bnsf thank you so much! I’m glad you like it!
