This was such a fun video to watch - I loved the occasional drone shot too. I could definitely tell you put a lot of love into the edit and it paid off, I felt like I was on an adventure just watching the trip unfold. Incredibly well-done!

It is a shame that you had to leave and miss the best parts of Yosemite. Half Dome, the valley, etc. I think a very common mistake that most people who are from other countries make is thinking once they reach an entrance to a National Park that they have arrived and it can all be seen in an hour or two. Almost all National Parks are remote vast wildernesses and take several days to a week to see once you get there. Also you need to make reservations a year in advance to either camp or stay at the many different lodging options in each park.

I spent 2 hours in the early hours of the morning in Vegas 30 years ago. It was fun but wouldn't do it now

I know the US is bigger than life, having experienced it myself but I am always surprised by how much bigger it is than I expect. Las Vegas, the skies, the desert landscape, all of it is so huge.

I agree, we would have skipped the Las Vegas Bling as well. Love your pic snippets in all your videos. In this one the endless road and open spaces and quiet seem so surreal. Like you're not there and posing in front of big backdrops. Thank you for taking us along and sharing your amazing experiences.

Hello! Just happened upon your video. First, just FYI, Salida is pronounced Sa-lie-da. I live in Pagosa Springs where you passed through. It’s a great place for hiking, rafting, tubing and more. There are 3 commercial hot springs, and other natural hot springs. The pass you went over was Wolf Creek Pass, topping out a little over 10,000feet. The ski area is known for the most annual snowfall, usually 300-400feet of snow. Durango is a great town, but does get very busy with tourists. In your video towards Cortez, on the left is Mesa Verde National Park, a very interesting ancient sight, and the whole 4 corners area has ancient dwellings all around. I’ve lived over 50 years in Colorado and still find so many places to explore.

Nice video,I lived in Mt Pleasant for 10 years,now in Frankfurt but man do I miss Rock Creek Park.The way the FREE incredible National Zoo is nestled in the park and if you know how to navigate the trails you can pop in and out of Georgetown and other spots in NW without ever leaving the Park Nothing like it in any other American city.Central Park in NYC has nothing on Rock Creek Park.Thanks for making me homesick!
