Tried one of these today and compared it with an e-site for. this device may have less bells and whistles but the picture quality was better I could actually see the screen in a simple and super easy to use the little bit of bulky and though the batteries aren't removable I feel like it is a better device altogether. The East site though is fancy doesn't seem to really be that practical the screens are too small and despite all the things that I can do and connect to just seems like a play thing that's overpriced or something that actually is supposed to work for low vision persons. So anyone looking at videos for things like this I'd recommend this device first and foremost above the others.
Hi Left Eye Guy, Probably it works! I'd like to share feedback on Acesight that the vision "go from 20/200 and 20/400 all the way down to 20/40, long distance vision!" You can read it at facebook.com/susan.w.huff/posts/4438693376155351 That device mentioned was Acesight instead of Acesight VR, but they are supposed to work similarly. So I guess it will probably work for you. An Acesight VR review by a person with left eye blind can be found at www.zoomax.com/review-and-testimonials/watching-football-game-in-a-stadium-wearing-acesight-vr/ The best way to figure it out is try one yourself. Please let our sales reach you out with the trial info. If you are interested, leave us a message via www.acesight.com/contact/?product=Acesight+VR, send an inquiry to info@acesight.com, or leave your email address here if it's ok to make it public. BTW we just came across your channel. Welcome to the community! There is a lot of great content on UA-cam about low vision and blindness, but it's never enough. More people joining together! We are looking forward to your new videos!
Hi Intisar Shah, you may ask about adding extra zoom lenses to the headset. People are able to wear optical glasses when wearing the Acesight VR (depends on the glasses lens thickness, of course). About the extra zoom lenses, we are not 100% sure as their specifications vary in a wide range. It will be helpful if you can elaborate the lenses type more. Thanks!
Hi Fuad, I'm afraid no. In fact, no similar wearable aids so far can help with driving. You can find more information at www.acesight.com/faq/faq-acesight-family/#drive
Hi there, I’ve seen you’ve asked about driving cars while being visually impaired, can I ask are you living in Australia? if so I can potentially assist you in obtaining your drivers license depending on your vision status. Please send me your email or Facebook if you have an account to discuss your options. Thank you!
Hi Naveed, please find the price at www.zoomaxusa.com/acesight-vr.html if you are in USA. If not, please let us know your email so that the sales manager can reach you out with the local quote. Thanks!
