The elemental breath that unlocks different parts of the world is a really good idea! It gives more replay value to the game and reason to return to old levels (like the new abilities concept in Spyro 2)
Same. But the thing is how it's accessible. Like I was thinking of the same thing for the flight and lava immunity in Reignited Trilogy but it's permanent Elemental breath.
I know many people don’t like backtracking, and for the most part I get it. But if levels are grand and fun enough, I love getting the chance to revisit them and uncover a previously locked part of the level. I hope to see some of that in a future Spyro.
Backtracking could be good. The problem is when its used in a unfair way just for increase the difficult artifficialy like Crash Bandicoot. In a Spyro game maybe can be done good.
@@sebastiankulche yeah In crash I always like being able to complete levels as I go, whereas in Spyro, I have no problem with being able to explore levels a second time. Especially if it’s done in a satisfying way. (Not like the alchemist mission)
Spyro 2 and 3 handled backtracking so well because it expanded upon the level. I loved going back to help or watch the hippo brothers sink under the goop lol
I would like to see more elder dragons, and maybe some grown up FEMALE dragons? The only other females in the trilogy were babies in Year of the Dragon
Agreed, we have had 3 since that weren’t hatchlings, Ember, Cynder and that Nanny dragon in A Hero’s Tail. So hopefully they decide to at least bring Ember and Cynder into the fold with the next game. That’s what I’d do anyways, at least.
What I'd like to see: Playable Bianca The introduction of a 'Classic' Cynder More spooky levels Multiple breath abilities (akin to Enter The Dragonfly/Hero's Tail/Legend Of Spyro) A Crash Bandicoot cameo/themed level
My 5 wishes 5. Mind blowing graphics 4. New level themes with interesting secrets hidden 3. A new villain with many cutscenes and interactions with the protagonists 2. A new game play dynamic that is fun and doesn’t distract from the platforming (kinda like the masks from crash 4) 1. A Spyro charm to the game with much witty and charming dialogue, cutscenes, and enemies.
Also forgot Season of Ice, 2: Season of Flame, Attack of the Rhynoks, A Heroes Tail, Shadow Legacy. _Yeah, pretty much a couple in the franchise. EotD was just a precursor to all those choices._ Even AotR had Wind breath, btw.
@@1ace1000 I loved the Wind Breath in Attack of the Rynocs. It started off pretty pathetic, only being used to maneuver on frozen objects across water, but would be upgraded to Tornado Breath, then later, gain a charged variant that would shoot out Lighting Tornados of Death!
I honestly don't get why TLoS gets so much hate, from the worldbuilding, lore, narrative/storytelling, character development, and plot perspectives it is MUCH better than the original trilogy, especially if one doesn't let nostalgia cloud their senses. I wouldn't mind if they did a reignited version of TLOS with some much needed improvements but its already great lore, characters, and plotline, not to mention proper combat with combos and extended flight sequences!
I'm not sure if that game was as widely advertised/ marketed as most of the other games that feature/star spyro. I am trying to get my hands on either a ps2 or xbox copy of that game. Preferentially ps2.
Well if I'm being honest after the Dumpster fire that was Enter The Dragonfly, a hero's tail... Just really didn't do much to get the bitter taste out of our mouths.
I believe that it was an okay game at best good, but I would not call it fun, it was a failed attempt at recapturing what made the original trilogy special, while regaining the lost momentum and fan base after the trash truck enter the dragon fly ruined the franchise for the next 20 years
Well I'm sorry if I offended you. But I'm just saying, EtD ruined what A hero's tail could've had. Spyro fans were real bitter about it. So that's probably why a hero's tail was forgotten.
What I hope for: Free Flight after you complete the game 100% Day/Night Cycles Cynder & Ignitus return Sgt. Byrd stages Ripto & Gnasty Gnorc team up Ratchet & Clank reference Bigger Dragon Shores to explore
You have a Good point Even though in Spyro year of the Dragon There were a load of adult male Dragons and they had Large amount of Dragon Eggs So where was they’re impact of female dragons Plus it takes a make dragon and a female dragon create Dragon Eggs So what happen to they’re Female Dragons ?
And while we’re on the Subject if new Dragons were to take place in Spyro 4 then they could teach Spyro more Dragon abilities to help make Spyro’s New games feel more Magical
I always wanted to see minigames that could be replayed with friends. To have players pick their favorite dragon and then play each other in skateboard racing, hockey, and fireball shooting games? Yes, please!
Totally agree. Honestly, the main thing I want from a new Spyro is beautiful new worlds that capture the same feeling of magic, wonder, and adventure that the first 3 games did, along with the classic collect-a-thon gameplay of course. Expanded breath powers with more uses would be great, too!
Things I want to see in spyro 4: 8. Elemental breath, and a multiple dragonflies be a part of spyro moveset in give him a abilities or something (like the masks in crash 4) 7. Make the levels bigger and more open and detailed and Distinct from each other 6. Keep the art style and characters design 5. I want to see most of the collectables make a return, the gems and the dragons and eggs, I want the eggs to be earned by doing missions and minigames. 4. More enjoyable minigames 3. The ps1 trilogy composer compose the music of course 2. Some old characters make a return like hunter and Bianca and moneybags and nasty norc (as the villain) 1. More involve story with some great writing and humor and make the characters more fleshed out
@@cameodamaneo Hush child, he also has a different tail, body height and voice, and they could potentially do a lot more with him if they put the effort in. Yes, my pfp makes me a little biased
I would love to hear your thoughts on incorporating some of the aspects from The Legend of Spyro series. I like how the these games had a bit more of a story to make you feel more connected to the game, but they also have more dragons/characters (male AND female) and the different abilities (ice, earth, electric, fear, etc)
I love the idea of elemental breaths. Not only does it follow up on what I keep saying about tie-ins to TLOS, but using different elements to traverse environments and uncover secrets sounds awesome. Also having each element change Spyro's skin and making it unlockable customization? Hell yes!
I would like to see the return of some characters from the reignited trilogy, Cynder being in the game, the alliance between Gnasty Gnorc and Ripto and brand new abilities for Spyro to use in different levels
In Hero’s Tail Spyro’s bubble breath was swapped for water, but all of the others remained.... BUT the question I have is how would we be introduced to the elemental breaths? Would we have power up gates like in Year of the Dragon? Would we see Bianca use a spell to give Spyro his new abilities like in ETD? Would we see elemental fairies like in Hero’s Tail? Or would Spyro have to react to a certain situation with his instincts activating the breath like in TLOS : New Beginning... and, second question, in the future (maybe not until Spyro 6 or higher) would we see him master the sky with unlimited flight, but stay the cute little but powerful dragon that he is in Reignited?
I want the game to have less emphasis on the minigames of 2 and 3, and more emphasis on platforming and exploration. Maybe an NPC from one level can have you fetch them an item in another level, making the levels more interconnected. Not exactly new for a platformer, but it would add a lot of depth to Spyro.
That could potentially introduce unwanted backtracking though, but I agree they should put much more focus on the platforming and exploration. Spyro 3 is actually my least favourite of the original three cause of the other characters, which basically play like large mini games IMO, which is disappointing because it has some great Spyro sections.
@@flammable7961 You raise a good point about backtracking. Spyro 2 was my favorite as a kid but my least favorite now. It introduced all those minigames and scaled way back on the platforming. And the minigames were mostly annoying. Spyro 3 managed to make the minigames somewhat more fun and brought the platforming back for a good balance. In that sense I think 3 is the *objectively best* but Spyro 1 is still my personal fave because of its atmosphere, art design, and overall sentimental value.
Dude... How could you mention elemental breaths and Not mention the "A new Begining trilogy"?? It's ok if you don't love that gameplay but the breaths were awesome Also give me Cynder on Spyro 4!!!
I've always thought about wanting another level or more levels like Gnasty's Loot where you have infinite flight, but you need to climb to a higher altitude to fly higher.
If they do bring back dragons, they could bring back a few old favorites like Bubba from the reignited trilogy while making new ones such as female dragons. Though I don't want it to be just dragons, since they could work in Elora, Hunter, or even Bianca. (I can't say the same for Shelia, Sgt Bird, Bentley, and Agent 9) The different breaths could be similar to Legend of Spyro, like his flame breath could burn down trees and foliage that get in his way or if he needs to heat up a stove in some mini-game.. Similar with Water but it helps to grow foliage and plants while the Water helps in defeating certain enemies like making them fill up with water that they go *POP*. Electricity is also good, as is with the return of Earth where he can push heavy blocks and boulders.
Things I would like to see in Spyro 4: -Red (from A Hero's Tail) become the main antagonist again -Ripto being playable (Why not? We got to play as Cortex and Bowser before) -Spyro reacting to hot and cold environments (kinda like what Mario does in Super Mario Odyssey) -A difficulty setting (Most people complained about Crash 4's difficulty, so an Easy, Medium, Hard, and Veteran mode would be nice) -Big open worlds (I don't expect New Spyro 4 to be massive like Skyrim and Red Dead 2, but maybe have each map be the size of a Super Mario Odyssey kingdom) -New power ups (They don't necessarily have to be breath elements but maybe new abilities like Spyro turning into a ball or having heat vision or maybe creating a massive shock wave with his head bash) -Bring back the light gems (I thought they were my favorite collectable in the series) -Make Cynder a playable character (I'm not a big fan of Legend of Spyro, but Cynder acting as Coco or as Player 2 would be nice) -Make Hunter playable (You can already tell that I love A Hero's Tail) -Bring back the Baloonist from Spyro 1 -Do NOT give Moneybags an Arab accent (I love A Hero's Tail to a certain extent) -Missions where Spyro needs to use Super Charge to win a race -NO Super guides (Those things were absolutly dumb when they introduced them in New Super Mario Bros Wii) -NO power up similar to the White Tanooki Suit from Mario 3D Land (We don't need a permanent invincible Spyro! You gotta have the man power to beat a Spyro game)
Or better, exclude Moneybags the bear in future Spyro video games including the brand new2021 Spyro 4 video game! Pretyy please and Thank you!It would be a pure breath of heavenly fresh air! ^-^
@@espino_productions6838 I got a better idea! Have inflatable punching bags modeled after Moneybags the greedy gem-grabbing grizzly bear for Our heroic purple dragon,Spyro and his heroic friends to hit all the levels in the brand new2021 Spyro 4 video game! 😆 Now that would be purely cathartic and stressful relieving if you ask me!
Being able to fly at will, would be appreciated. Either incorporate that into the challenge of the game, or make it unlockable at some point. It's really pointless in my opinion to play as a dragon with wings, that can only glide outside of the speedway levels.
I want to see Spyro and Elora been an official couple from now on. And I hope their romance continues, not like with Crash and the new Tawna where New Tawna only hits him on the head and then for the rest of the game never even talks with him once.
Considering they amplified Elora's crush on Spyro in reignited and erased the epilogue (where Spyro misses his chance) I have a feeling they're going to expand upon it even further.
The idea of them getting together makes me uncomfortable for some reason, maybe it’s the size and height difference (and probably age too!), I would rather he get together with Cynder if anyone at all
The one thing I would love to see is a Dragon Village hub, or maybe plural. You know these dragon designs we loved in reignited 1? Let's see them in their environment! We could see how they live, interact with each other, make quests for them, etc.
@@flammable7961 Oh, I admit I've never played A Hero's Tail, yet, although, I want to, eventually. But I doubt the dragons are the same characters as this version.
@@patsg1146 No, they’ve got some returning dragons, but they’re heavily changed design wise so yeah, they also have more dragons Spyros age, Ember and Flame (my pfp) who I would also like to see again
It would be cool if the game began or ended with spyro going through the door in the artisans home world. If it ended there, it could be fun for them to make reference to it through out the game since WE ALL WANT TO KNOW! But in all honesty, as long as they maintain the core of Spyro: gem collecting and exploring, I’ll be happy. If it’s anything like crash 4, I’ll be out of my mind excited.
1. Return of dragons like you said but make it the female dragons we never got to see in the original trilogy. 2. New elemental breaths wind earth fire and ice darkness and skins to go with them 3. Personal growth/character development for spyro. 4. Villains that are actually a believable threat let's not re-use the first 3 antagonists over and over please 5. Cynder's triumphant return to the series
That'll be a great idea by bringing the nostalgic content from the original trilogy of Spyro series for Spyro 4 as a brand new game of Spyro the Dragon series. 😉👍💎🔥🐲
@@flammable7961 Oh, I am just optimistic about hoping for Spyro with a brand new game will be confirmed in this year eventually. I mean, I wasn't trying to be annoying, I was just hoping for new Spyro game will be announced in this year. I just putted the emojis of a Dragon, a fire, and a gem in my comment about this is Spyro we're talking about it. No big deal.
I want to see more younger dragons like Spyro. It would help give more relation and answer the my questions of if or were there any young dragons that were around Spyro's age. I wouldn’t mind if they put Cynder, Flame (Red Spyro), or Ember. It would be really nice to see more characters at his age there.
Access to more/new elemental powers would be the sickest thing to add, to an upcoming Spyro game! Even after the 4th game succeeding the Reignited Trilogy! P.S.- I have a soft spot for love stories, so maybe the next should also delve further into the canon romances. Especially between Spyro and Elora I'd love to see how they grow as a couple!💗
Female dragons definitely would be interesting to see. It would kind of be nice to have similar character quests like with hunter, the professor, and Elora. You can team up with the dragons to complete the challenges, or play as another dragon and switch off as they did in Spyro 3 with Sheila, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, and Agent 9 the monkey. There is so much they can do with the dragon idea. I love your list!
I'd like to build off of the breath idea you brought up and combine it with your game idea. For one, if Cynder was in the games she could have or gain the breath weapons from the legend of Spyro trilogy that she used in the Dawn of the Dragon as for how Cynder would be able to switch out with Spyro mid world, it could be something as small as saying they are going to the world together, but only one of themis walking around and then having a button to switch the two around, while sparks can act as a shared "life gadge". i have other idea's but i think this comment is long enough for now.
The ability to have super versions of the breathes or even just super flame, permanently, hells maybe even that and "endless" flying as new hidden cheat codes
More playable characters is another suggestion, Year of the Dragon had 6 total playable characters, Our purple boy Spyro, Sheila the kangaroo, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley the Yeti, Agent 9, and even Sparx. Elora, Bianca, Cynder (if she makes it in the next game), and bringing back playable Hunter are suggestions for Spyro 4.
Elora the faun girl and Bianca the female rabbit sorceress are also deserve to be playable heroine characters in the brand new2021 Spyro 4 video game, as well as future Spyro video games too! ;D^-^
I think it would be cool if Spyro’s elemental breaths could add to his transversal options. For instance, using wind breath to soar upwards for a brief moment before chaining a glide.
Didn't Stewart Copeland said he moved on from movies and video games soundtracks as he consider himself as an orchestral and symphonic music composer now ? It was mentioned during the San Diego Comic Con explaining how Reignited was made before it got released
I know this probably won't happen, but I'd love to see the fairies from the first game come back. It was the cutest thing to see that one fairy kiss spyro on the nose to give him fairy fire! (plus all the others were adorable too!) I think it would be neat to have fairies give spyro all of his powerups, directions, save, and general help (plus they could add new fairies if they do elemental powers like ice, or wind etc.) That is one thing I don't like(all though i still love the games) about Spyro 2 & 3 is that all of his powerups are given through arches, which takes away from the magical element. I think fairies fit the aesthetic of the game better than arches.
- Spyro to have slightly bigger wings & yellow spines on his back - (Playable?) Ember, Cynder & Flame - Some sort of (free) flight sections - Red to return (or be referenced) - Multiple breaths and puzzles which utilise them
If the different elemental breaths do come back they should be permanent like in LoS and when you 100 percent the game you should get the dark element breath but that's just me
I agree with the selectable different breaths thing- that's something that was somewhat of a staple in the 3rd party Spyro games from Season of Flame onwards. Something I've wanted to see in a Spyro game is the collectable directly making Spyro stronger. Just an example, let's say the next collectable is "magic crystals". You can use the ones you've collected to power up your moves like breath, charge, heck even swimming, and there'd be obstacles in levels that you can't get past until you're strong enough, like giant rocks that need a strong enough charge attack to break, extra strong vines that need a stronger fire breath to burn or strong water currents that you need a stronger swim ability for. It would also help with bosses so the more you have collected, the stronger your attacks, so the easier the bosses.
Yes to all of these! In fact, for the last one, it would be cool if elemental guardian was the theme of the next game. With elements like ice, shadow, etc. Just no bubbles please!
Just wanted to say that being a British Columbian I couldn't be more proud to have high rise peaks and valleys that resemble the Magic Crafters realm, which would make Spyro's visit much more exciting to traverse. If he were here touring over out west right now and ended up in the Whistler/Pemberton Valley region I sure hope he decides to stay in this province cause I have to agree with you; the worlds look magnifitastically jawdropping from every angle. We need more dragon elder interactions as well. I'm smitten with every single one of them^^
As unpopular as the game was, I really enjoyed playing Enter the Dragonfly - and to a lesser extent - A Hero’s Tail. EtD/AHT has a lot of music that I still listen to when I want Spyro vibes, and I liked the later idea of gems being a currency rather than a strict collectible. I’d also like to possibly see playable characters return and have a lot more screen time in addition to / a mechanic like elemental breaths, but not necessarily locked to certain areas. Having Sgt. Byrd able to freely roam Enchanted Towers was actually pretty neat. I also low-key would love some sort of co-op mode in the future, not necessarily time trials or a handoff mode. There’s plenty of characters and being able to mix up gameplay from time to time would definitely boost my experience.
It's been 13 years since the last brand new Spyro game: The Legend of Spyro 3: Dawn of the Dragon (2008) on PS2 and PS3 the third and final game of The Legend of Spyro Trilogy (2006 to 2008) the reboot storyline of Spyro the Dragon series was released in 2008 for Spyro's 10th Anniversary before the spin-off game series of Spyro series: Skylanders: Spyro's adventure (2011) on PS3 the first game of Skylanders series (2011 to 2018) was released in 2011 and before a remake game of the original trilogy of Spyro the Dragon series: Spyro Reignited Trilogy (2018) with includes three games remastered: Spyro the Dragon (1998), Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage (1999) and Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (2000) on PS4 was released in 2018 for Spyro's 20th Anniversary. And now I am looking forward to see a revival brand new game of Spyro the Dragon series: "Spyro 4" a true sequel to Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (2000) in this year! But before Spyro 4 will be announced in this year, here are my top five things that I really want to see in Spyro 4. 😃 Number 5): Playable characters in the main story of Spyro 4: The two main characters of Spyro franchise: Spyro the Dragon himself as a main playable,... and Spyro's best friend: Sparx the Dragonfly,... Spyro's friends as playable characters like:.. Spyro's friend: Hunter the Cheetah by using his bow and arrows to shoot at the enemies just like from Spyro: A Hero's Tail (2004),... Spyro's other friend: Sgt. James Byrd the Military Penguin by flying and using his rocket launchers to shoot the enemies,... Spyro's possibly love interest: Elora the Faun by solving the puzzles with her smart intelligent in any mini game challenges instead of being fighter,... and Hunter's girlfriend: Bianca the Rabbit by using her magic wand to shoot at the enemies and solving puzzles. Number 4): Supporting characters: The five leaders of the Elder Dragons of the Dragon Realms,.... Spyro's friends: Sheila the Kangaroo, Bentley the Yeti, and Agent 9 the Space Monkey,... Zoe the Fairy by zapping Spyro and the rest of the playable characters to save their progress with her magic wand,.... the Baby Dragons,.... Professor the Scientist Mole by building or inventing the gadgets for Spyro,... Moneybags the Greedy Rich Bear by forcing Spyro to pay Moneybags with treasure gems,... and new dragons like:... the Chinese Dragons, the Japanese Dragons, the Female Dragons, and the Elemental Dragons. Number 3): Customization skins for Spyro himself. Phoenix Spyro skin,... Thunder Bolt Spyro skin,... Sea Serpent Spyro skin,... Winter Guardian Spyro skin,... Nature Spyro skin,... Space Spyro skin,... Dark Spyro skin,... Light Spyro skin,... and Classic Retro Spyro skin with PlayStation 1 graphic! Number 2): Spyro's Elemental Breath Abilities: Spyro's Fire Elemental Breath Ability,... Spyro's Electric Breath Ability,... Spyro's Water Breath Ability,... Spyro's Ice Breath Atbilaty,...Spyro's Air Breath Atbilaty,... Spyro's Earth Breath Ability,... and Spyro's Cosmic Breath Ability. And finally Number 1): New Story Plot of Spyro 4: About the story takes place after the events of Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (2000),... about the dragons will return to their original home: the Forgotten World since after Spyro defeated the Sorceress as the secret boss of Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (2000),... about how did Spyro's old arch-enemy: Ripto survive from the lava after the final boss fight from the previously events of Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! (1999) and team up with Spyro's other old arch-enemy from Spyro the Dragon (1998) the first game of Spyro series: Gnasty Gnorc as partners to get their revenge on Spyro for defeated them when it says "Gnasty Gnorc and Ripto hold a summit to discuss 'The Spyro Problem' ",.... about a mysterious new villain as main antagonist of Spyro 4 the who force Gnasty Gnorc and Ripto to work for him to help him to capture all of the dragons and take over all of magical worlds, and it is up to our heroic purple Dragon Spyro and his yellow Dragonfly companion Sparx to stop them and save the day. 🙂 That's my five top things with my thoughts and ideas for Spyro 4. I don't know yet, but I still can't wait for news and rumors about our favorite purple Dragon Spyro with a revival brand new game of Spyro the Dragon series: "Spyro 4" on PS4 or maybe on PS5 to be announced by Activision in this year eventually! If they could make it happen, I'll be so surprised and very excited about this! I am really a HUGE FAN of Spyro the Dragon series! Spyro is one of my favorite childhood PlayStation games! 😁🤞💎🔥🐲 What about you guys? Would you be excited if we get some news and rumors about a brand new Spyro game: "Spyro 4" to be announced in this year too? And what do you guys think about my thoughts and ideas for Spyro 4 as a brand new game of Spyro the Dragon series? 🙂
@@slytorres5685 Well, like I said before, I don't know yet if Cynder is gonna be in Spyro 4. Because she's not part in original storyline of Spyro series. She's only appeared in The Legend of Spyro Trilogy the reboot storyline of Spyro series. I mean, I don't really hate Cynder, I really DO LOVE Cynder because she's one of my favorite fan favorites of Spyro the Dragon franchise along with Spyro himself, Sparx, Hunter, Bianca, Elora, and the four Dragon Guardians. And Cynder is Spyro's the main love interest in The Legend of Spyro Trilogy. But like I said, I am not really sure that Cynder will be in Spyro 4. Because I kind of agree with @The KingdomWayFinder, because Cynder is not part of the original storyline of Spyro the Dragon series, Cynder is only appeared in The Legend of Spyro Trilogy the reboot storyline of Spyro the Dragon series, and especially Skylanders series the spin-off game series and the second reboot storyline of Spyro the Dragon series. But I wouldn't mind that Cynder will be in Spyro 4 as a character, but I don't know yet. But in depends. But we're gonna have to wait and see. Who knows? OK? 🤔🤷♂️ Unless, maybe Cynder would be a cameo as a Hidden Easter egg reference from The Legend of Spyro Trilogy for Spyro 4. And unless maybe there's gonna be a new young female dragon Dragon with same age as Spyro's age as a brand new character of Spyro series for Spyro 4. I don't know yet either. Who knows? 🙂🤷♂️
Yes to all of this! Although I would personally like to see the inclusion of Cynder & other female dragons in the next game. Seeing as TFB originally considered adding those said dragons to the Reignited Trilogy. Assumingly, they didn't have enough time so it didn't happen.
My wishlist would probably be: -More threatening enemies (the ones in the og are just kinda there to get hit with few exceptions) -More time based optional challanges that force you to push the controls/movement of this game to the limit. -More playable characters. -Skins
I just want the beauty and environments of Dawn of the dragon. That game was my ABSOLUTE favourite - I remember playing it when I had chickenpox at 9 years old haha! I loved being able to fly around and get lost in forests and meadows as Spyro/Cynder, so relaxing. c':
I agree with everything you said, and also, have a choice to play between Spyro and Cinder just like Crash and Coco, and have other playable characters too, and make Gnasty Gnorc as the first final boss and make Ripto the real final boss and you can play as him like Cortex in Its About Time
The main things I'd like to see are the Crystal Dragons making a return, and seeing a variety of new breaths incorporated into the gameplay! Seeing some female dragons would be awesome too! Oh and Shooter, I'm loving your editing on these videos! The meme placement is also just so good! Keep up the awesome work! ^^
5. Female dragons and maybe even non-binary dragons too alongside male dragons and they stick around and not disappear. One thing I don't like about the games is how the worlds begin to feel empty when NPCs disappear after collecting stuff or fulfilling certain tasks. 4. Obviously, the worlds need to be beautiful but why not take it a step further? Have a surreal world inspired by the likes of Vincent Van Gogh or Salvador Dali. A world akin to the ink-style cel-shaded graphics in Okami or most Suda51 games. Maybe even a dark and oppressive horror-style level akin to some of the Fatal Frame locations like the Himuro Mansion or the Manor of Sleep? 3. While I agree on Stewart Copeland on making new music, I think there should be a variety of composers working on different levels to provide new experiences. The first few levels start with the familiar Copeland-tunes but then there are tracks that create new experiences for the players. I'm talking about Grant Kirkhope, Jesper Kyd, Yoko Shimomura, Mick Gordon, Masashi Hamauzu, Jake Kaufman and various indie composers who are making names for themselves. The possibilities are endless. 2. That's the one thing I disagree on... mostly. While having Spyro in different costumes would be cool, various power-ups gave Spyro different colours and patterns so maybe new and practical abilities that happen to change Spyro's appearance would be cool. 1. Yes, yes! Like Dante's Devil Trigger forms have variations in Devil May Cry 3 depending on which Devil Arm is equipped. Why just limit it to breath? Instead of a breath, Spyro could summon flying swords or use Sparx to fire projectiles like the Pods in NieR Automata.
I'm looking forward to Spyro 4 sometime later this year, hopefully. If it's Toys for Bob gonna developing the lead, I'll bet they will make insanely hard, not as hard for Crash 4 but you know how they do with their games.
I love the thumbnail artXD! Spyro the Dragon is like : "I would loveto see all again in my brand new video game in the Dragon worlds all five of them! :DOr it is six worlds ? Um,.I have honestly no idea!"🤔🤨😆🤗 LoL! ^-^
0:30 technically it’s been 17 years since Spyro had a new adventure, with A Hero’s Tail released in 2004. The Legend of Spyro was a reboot and was its own thing and was something different and wasn’t like the original trilogy. The Reignited Trilogy obviously went back to the original trilogy to continue that timeline of the original Spyro.
@@flammable7961 yes technically that was the final game in the original continuity in the Spyro series but A Hero’s Tail was the last Spyro game released for consoles in the original trilogy.
I'd like to see Cynder but I don't have my hopes up. Other than that, I want interactable dragons in the home world, female dragons, elemental breaths, if possible free flight even if it's an endgame reward. Spyro, maybe have him grow a bit. If we have minigames, they could be in the overworld and unlock as you progress through the main levels, that way, the main levels remain plataformers. But what I want the most is for it to be available in PC at launch.
It would seem that in dragon society, at least in spyro's universe, the males are the designated caretakers of the young. I would like to see what role the female dragons have that is so important that you never see them beyond their childhood stages. I would also like to see some callbacks to every other game in the franchise. Like levels inspired directly by the ones in those games. There's plenty of designs and concept material to work with, especially in the GBA Trilogy. If I could see levels inspired by Candy Lane, Gypsy Road, Winter Mesa, Moon Fondue, etc, I would squee eternally. It would be great to see old characters return, like The Professor's nephew, Blink, and the other young dragons, Flame, Ember, and Cynder. Maybe even make some new main characters. It worked wonders for CTRNF.
Things id like to see them fix in Spyro 4: 1. The awful animation of "charging" underwater. 2. The yucky blue filter when underwater. 2. The jump height and the landing animation after a jump. There were too many jumps where one press was big enough to jump 1.8 the height needed for one step but not enough for two steps. And hed *plop* like gravity suddenly became 10x harder. 3. Bring back his cute tail wiggle as he flies. Just like original trilogy
They gotta keep his head bash, climbing and swimming abilities though. The dragons were awesome, I will agree. Have them give Spyro abilities that they learnt and pass it down to them to Spyro as a sign of maturity. As for locations, I’d love to see levels made after a prehistoric jungle, a steampunk city, a Thailand-themed temple, an Australian outback, a city modelled after New York, or Los Angeles, a Native American themed village, a greek palace, a railway yard, an Antarctic wasteland, a space station, and an alternate dimension with evil versions of the dragons you encountered previously.
While I understand the love of the dragon collectibles, from a developer viewpoint they are a terrible collectible, simply because of how big they are. You want to put them on a ledge? You have to make that ledge pretty big, placing restrictions on level design. Plus, they cannot believably be stored in your back pocket, so if Spyro 4 has side challenges (like every OG Spyro game besides 1 does), they couldn’t be given to Spyro directly. The reward for beating the challenge would have to be something like unlocking the location where the dragon is, which again puts limits on level design (plus it asks the player to suspend their disbelief about how so many dragons ended up in those impossible to reach locations, and why that random guy was the only one who knew how get in, and why they didn’t let you in until you helped them, etc.). If dragons were to become the next collectible, there would have to be a second collectible for Spyro to find randomly around the world and to be the reward for the challenges.
Maybe there could be one dragon per level at the very end, as well as a second collectable scattered throughout, maybe then the dragon could come back to the home world to help you reach the next home world like in Spyro 3
For the Legend of Spyro fight mechanics, different breaths and those really powerful overwhelming attacks that would explode outwards to all come back, to be able to fly freely, as flying is what a Dragon is known for after all and for Spyro to become bigger and stronger. I would also love it for Cynder to come back as she has an epic design, especially in her adult form and I love her personality and just for more female representation without relying too heavily on stereotypes, as their voice is enough to make the distinction.
8:00 That would be interesting. Spyro 2/3 had backtracking anyway in place through Moneybags and either learning new abilities or freeing new playable characters respectively. It would make sense if Spyro 4 continued that tradition. Maybe Moneybags wasn't interesting in being a Haiku poet after all.
I would love different breath attacks like Ice breath but do something with them besides just being different. Like maybe we can upgrade them like we have a standard Fire breath but we can upgrade it to where when we hold the Circle button and then Spyro shoots a fireball
for me, I really wanna see a Reignited version of some of Spyro's friends from other games/universes. Cynder, Flame, Ignitus, Volteer, Terrador, Volteer, and Cyril being my top ones
Well, to be fair, I did sense some energy ,elements and inspriational influences of the spectacular 2016 Disney animated film Zootopia in the brand new2020 phenomenonal popular, successful influential and bestselling Crash Bandicoot 4:It's About Time video game,so I wouldn't blame Canadian Guy for comparing a Spyro video game to Disney /Pixar animated movies!😆😁😇🤗🌌❤💙💛
I'd like to see Spyro's whole circle of friends from Spyro 2 and YotD return: Elora, Hunter, The Professor, Zoe, Bianca, Sheila, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, and Agent 9. Even better if most or all of them are playable, even just in specific levels or missions. Moneybags has gotta come back too of course. Maybe this time he can offer costumes for sale? That way, he can turn a handsome profit without interfering with Spyro and his friends in hopes of avoiding their wrath. I loved the Orbs in Spyro 2 as a collectible, so I have a suggestion regarding the return of dragons as collectibles: What if freeing the dragons is your primary objective, and completing sidequests or playing minigames for them is your secondary objective? Say you have a dragon fisherman who you free. He then asks you to help him catch some fish since he isn't as spry and nimble as he used to be. If you catch enough, he'll give you an Orb or some other trinket as a reward (it was a terrible lure anyway). Ember could also work like this; when Spyro releases her, she's of course grateful and wants to offer him a reward, but first needs his help finding her jewelry which has been stolen by thieves while she was trapped. If Spyro tracks down the thieves and gets Ember's jewelry back, she'll reward him with an Orb since Spyro won't accept her initial offer of a date (due to, you know, being busy saving the Dragon Realms again and all that). The Dragon Hatchlings could work a bit like Jinjos from Banjo-Kazooie. You can find several in a given level, and gathering them all nets you an Orb or other reward, most likely from whoever was supposed to be babysitting them (again, Ember could come into the picture here). The elemental breath concept really goes as far back as Spyro 2 with the Superfreeze power up. I'd be cool with adding more elemental breath powerups to Spyro, though I feel like they should be limited time akin to Superfreeze or level specific like the ice breath in Frozen Altars. In a previous video, you pitched the idea of Spyro 4 introducing several new warlocks as peers of sorts to Ripto. What if those warlocks each specialized in a particular element? Ripto is obviously the fiery one, so maybe the other warlocks are ice, lightning, wind, etc.?
You know considering that crash 4 it's about time was inspired by crash twinsanity and the wrath of cortex I'm wondering if spyro 4 will take inspiration from a hero's tale and enter the dragonfly.
My hopes for Spyro 4: it exists.
Me too! I am hoping for Spyro 4 as a brand new game of Spyro series will be confirmed in this year too! 😃
It’s kinda obvious by this point.
Same here too 🦊
Yes
The elemental breath that unlocks different parts of the world is a really good idea!
It gives more replay value to the game and reason to return to old levels (like the new abilities concept in Spyro 2)
I personally like the idea of elemental breaths, but am against the backtracking part, I like to get all the collectibles in one hit
Same. But the thing is how it's accessible. Like I was thinking of the same thing for the flight and lava immunity in Reignited Trilogy but it's permanent Elemental breath.
That mixed with breath of the wilds style open world would be insane.
I know many people don’t like backtracking, and for the most part I get it. But if levels are grand and fun enough, I love getting the chance to revisit them and uncover a previously locked part of the level. I hope to see some of that in a future Spyro.
Same.
Backtracking is a pain in Crash, but for Spyro, I don’t mind it at all.
Pretty sure the dragon’s were asexual
@@SMABackup ...
I'd love to see Cynder & Ember come back
Agreed, we have had 3 since that weren’t hatchlings, Ember, Cynder and that Nanny dragon in A Hero’s Tail. So hopefully they decide to at least bring Ember and Cynder into the fold with the next game. That’s what I’d do anyways, at least.
Makes you think, where did all of those eggs come from?
I loved the home worlds in Spyro 2. The peaceful music. And I've always loved the names.
Ah yes, the unique and interesting names like *SUNNY BEACH*

What I'd like to see:
Playable Bianca
The introduction of a 'Classic' Cynder
More spooky levels
Multiple breath abilities (akin to Enter The Dragonfly/Hero's Tail/Legend Of Spyro)
A Crash Bandicoot cameo/themed level
I like your thinking
Personally don't care for playable Bianca bit
Maybe also hachlings from Spyro 3, interacting with the child dragons too, not just elder dragons. But those what you told, would be awesome!
that's actually a really good idea
I'd find it very amusing if the baby dragons in their toddler stage ended up being slightly bigger than Spyro, cementing the idea that he's a runt.
God, I love the Spyro thunbnails, so cute.
I just hope they stick more to the spyro 2 and 3 gameplay style with all its side missions and mini games rather than the pure platforming of spyro 1
I wouldnt mind a blend of both. 2 and 3 have entirely too many mini games, sometimes you just want to adventure especially in big worlds.
It would be hilarious if the inhabitants throw dragon statues at you as a reward for helping them.
My 5 wishes
5. Mind blowing graphics
4. New level themes with interesting secrets hidden
3. A new villain with many cutscenes and interactions with the protagonists
2. A new game play dynamic that is fun and doesn’t distract from the platforming (kinda like the masks from crash 4)
1. A Spyro charm to the game with much witty and charming dialogue, cutscenes, and enemies.
I think seeing some new beautiful worlds is one of the things I mostly want to see along with many other things
CGE: elemental breath as seen in enter the garbagebin.............wind, darkness, crystal etc etc...
TLoS: Am I a joke to you?!
@@BitWoof Tho some compares it to TLoTR
Are we gonna pretend that a hero’s tail doesn’t exist? I feel like less people know that that game actually exist
I believe that it was an okay game at best good, but I would not call it fun, it was a failed attempt at recapturing what made the original trilogy special, while regaining the lost momentum and fan base after the trash truck enter the dragon fly ruined the franchise for the next 20 years
It wasn't a bad game, Enter the Dragonfly caused really low sells and basically ruined Hero's Tail indirectly. That's why I think EtD was the worst
Well I'm sorry if I offended you. But I'm just saying, EtD ruined what A hero's tail could've had. Spyro fans were real bitter about it. So that's probably why a hero's tail was forgotten.
Another great video. I definitely think the elemental breaths would especially be a great addition to Spyro 4!
An introduction of a official Classic Cynder.
What I hope for:
Free Flight after you complete the game 100%
Day/Night Cycles
Cynder & Ignitus return
Sgt. Byrd stages
Ripto & Gnasty Gnorc team up
Ratchet & Clank reference
Bigger Dragon Shores to explore
I’d like to see some female dragons.
I know. It would explain where them eggs came from unless.....they don't need females
Thats was e621 is for.
Yes ,please bring in female dragons of all spectrums in future Spyro video games ! :D
@@angelmedina2762 Ahhh... A person of culture, I see!
You have a Good point
Even though in Spyro year of the Dragon
There were a load of adult male Dragons and they had Large amount of Dragon Eggs
So where was they’re impact of female dragons
Plus it takes a make dragon and a female dragon create Dragon Eggs
So what happen to they’re Female Dragons ?
And while we’re on the Subject if new Dragons were to take place in Spyro 4 then they could teach Spyro more Dragon abilities to help make Spyro’s New games feel more Magical
I always wanted to see minigames that could be replayed with friends. To have players pick their favorite dragon and then play each other in skateboard racing, hockey, and fireball shooting games? Yes, please!
honestly just coop in general would be great, we need more coop games especially couch coop ones
I also want to see dragons come back maybe some female dragons in the mix. I like the idea you brought up with them roaming around the world(s).
Totally agree. Honestly, the main thing I want from a new Spyro is beautiful new worlds that capture the same feeling of magic, wonder, and adventure that the first 3 games did, along with the classic collect-a-thon gameplay of course. Expanded breath powers with more uses would be great, too!
Things I want to see in spyro 4:
8. Elemental breath, and a multiple dragonflies be a part of spyro moveset in give him a abilities or something (like the masks in crash 4)
7. Make the levels bigger and more open and detailed and Distinct from each other
6. Keep the art style and characters design
5. I want to see most of the collectables make a return, the gems and the dragons and eggs, I want the eggs to be earned by doing missions and minigames.
4. More enjoyable minigames
3. The ps1 trilogy composer compose the music of course
2. Some old characters make a return like hunter and Bianca and moneybags and nasty norc (as the villain)
1. More involve story with some great writing and humor and make the characters more fleshed out
Ember, Flame and Cynder. Either as playable characters or just NPCs.
101% agree with this one lol
So much yes! Heavily desired.
Why Flame? He's just a reskin of Spyro with a bigger nose.

What/WHO would I wanna see in Spyro 4?
🤔
CYNDER
I would like to see Cynder in Spyro 4 maybe as a playable character like agent 9 with her own levels
shout out to the editor who made me laugh several times watching this. great job mate!
The editor here, glad you enjoyed the video!
@@loreofthedragon The “what?” clip after whatever he said was pretty funny
I love the idea of elemental breaths. Not only does it follow up on what I keep saying about tie-ins to TLOS, but using different elements to traverse environments and uncover secrets sounds awesome. Also having each element change Spyro's skin and making it unlockable customization? Hell yes!
I would like to see the return of some characters from the reignited trilogy, Cynder being in the game, the alliance between Gnasty Gnorc and Ripto and brand new abilities for Spyro to use in different levels
I would like to see Crush & Gulp returns maybe as playable characters, betray Ripto and turn them back to good side.
I personally never want to see infinite flight, that would ruin the platforming which is a pretty core part of the game
i think have spyro get a little bigger would be nice, probably not as big as the elder dragons but maybe at most 2X-2.5X his current size
7:31 Yeah, you totally said the name of the game right.
I just call it Yeouch
@@TheDiamondSea I struggle to rank them, sometimes I enjoy 3 more and sometimes I enjoy 2 more, 1 is always in the middle, but high middle
They did that in attack of the rhynocs on GBA and I always loved finding stuff in levels to take back to earlier levels. Hope it happens!
@@lokephoenix1039 Yeah that game did good, backtracking can be done well it’s just difficult
Well spyro a heros tail does have those elemental breaths.
I want Elora and Bianca playable! Also that we have a new villain besides Ripto.
Dude... How could you mention elemental breaths and Not mention the "A new Begining trilogy"?? It's ok if you don't love that gameplay but the breaths were awesome
Also give me Cynder on Spyro 4!!!
(I can't say the same for Shelia, Sgt Bird, Bentley, and Agent 9)
The different breaths could be similar to Legend of Spyro, like his flame breath could burn down trees and foliage that get in his way or if he needs to heat up a stove in some mini-game.. Similar with Water but it helps to grow foliage and plants while the Water helps in defeating certain enemies like making them fill up with water that they go *POP*. Electricity is also good, as is with the return of Earth where he can push heavy blocks and boulders.
Best thumbnail yet😂😂
Things I would like to see in Spyro 4:
-Red (from A Hero's Tail) become the main antagonist again
-Ripto being playable (Why not? We got to play as Cortex and Bowser before)
-Spyro reacting to hot and cold environments (kinda like what Mario does in Super Mario Odyssey)
-A difficulty setting (Most people complained about Crash 4's difficulty, so an Easy, Medium, Hard, and Veteran mode would be nice)
-Big open worlds (I don't expect New Spyro 4 to be massive like Skyrim and Red Dead 2, but maybe have each map be the size of a Super Mario Odyssey kingdom)
-New power ups (They don't necessarily have to be breath elements but maybe new abilities like Spyro turning into a ball or having heat vision or maybe creating a massive shock wave with his head bash)
-Bring back the light gems (I thought they were my favorite collectable in the series)
-Make Cynder a playable character (I'm not a big fan of Legend of Spyro, but Cynder acting as Coco or as Player 2 would be nice)
-Make Hunter playable (You can already tell that I love A Hero's Tail)
-Bring back the Baloonist from Spyro 1
-Do NOT give Moneybags an Arab accent (I love A Hero's Tail to a certain extent)
-Missions where Spyro needs to use Super Charge to win a race
-NO Super guides (Those things were absolutly dumb when they introduced them in New Super Mario Bros Wii)
-NO power up similar to the White Tanooki Suit from Mario 3D Land (We don't need a permanent invincible Spyro! You gotta have the man power to beat a Spyro game)
Or better, exclude Moneybags the bear in future Spyro video games including the brand new2021 Spyro 4 video game! Pretyy please and Thank you!It would be a pure breath of heavenly fresh air! ^-^
@@booksmartthealicorn3219 If they do bring him back, we better have the option to beat him up at the end. Just like we did in Spyro 3

You forgot the most important thing: MOAR GEMS!!! More hidden, more hard to get, more backtracking (shut up), maybe types of chests, etc.
“Edited by lore of the dragon!” That guy is amazing! I love his channel! Very good analysis’s overall.
Soooo take from a hero’s tail essentially, yeah I’d like that too

It would be cool if the game began or ended with spyro going through the door in the artisans home world. If it ended there, it could be fun for them to make reference to it through out the game since WE ALL WANT TO KNOW!
You mean A new Cynder as a brand newcomer in Spyro 4?
Elora the faun girl and Bianca the female rabbit sorceress are also deserve to be playable heroine characters in the brand new2021 Spyro 4 video game, as well as future Spyro video games too! ;D^-^
@@booksmartthealicorn3219 Yes, they didn’t get that treatment yet in the games.
- Spyro to have slightly bigger wings & yellow spines on his back
- (Playable?) Ember, Cynder & Flame
- Some sort of (free) flight sections
- Red to return (or be referenced)
- Multiple breaths and puzzles which utilise them
If the different elemental breaths do come back they should be permanent like in LoS and when you 100 percent the game you should get the dark element breath but that's just me
I agree with the selectable different breaths thing- that's something that was somewhat of a staple in the 3rd party Spyro games from Season of Flame onwards.
Number 5): Playable characters in the main story of Spyro 4:
The two main characters of Spyro franchise: Spyro the Dragon himself as a main playable,... and Spyro's best friend: Sparx the Dragonfly,...
Number 4): Supporting characters:
The five leaders of the Elder Dragons of the Dragon Realms,....
Number 2): Spyro's Elemental Breath Abilities:
Spyro's Fire Elemental Breath Ability,... Spyro's Electric Breath Ability,... Spyro's Water Breath Ability,... Spyro's Ice Breath Atbilaty,...Spyro's Air Breath Atbilaty,... Spyro's Earth Breath Ability,... and Spyro's Cosmic Breath Ability.
And finally Number 1): New Story Plot of Spyro 4:
About the story takes place after the events of Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (2000),... about the dragons will return to their original home: the Forgotten World since after Spyro defeated the Sorceress as the secret boss of Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (2000),... about how did Spyro's old arch-enemy: Ripto survive from the lava after the final boss fight from the previously events of Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! 🙂
That's my five top things with my thoughts and ideas for Spyro 4.
What about you guys? Would you be excited if we get some news and rumors about a brand new Spyro game: "Spyro 4" to be announced in this year too?
And what do you guys think about my thoughts and ideas for Spyro 4 as a brand new game of Spyro the Dragon series? 🙂
You forgot a new Cynder where you can switch Spyro to Cynder similar to Crash and Coco in Crash 4
Who knows? OK? 🤔🤷♂️
Unless, maybe Cynder would be a cameo as a Hidden Easter egg reference from The Legend of Spyro Trilogy for Spyro 4.
Okay, Lore of the Dragon’s edits are freaking GOLD! I love the work that the other fellas have done, don’t get me wrong!
Awesome video for your 5 top ideas for the brand new2021 upcoming Spyro 4 video game, Candiaian Guy! ;DI love it!
My wishlist would probably be:
-More threatening enemies (the ones in the og are just kinda there to get hit with few exceptions)
-More time based optional challanges that force you to push the controls/movement of this game to the limit.
Probably not, Crash is much more difficulty focused, hence what they did with Crash 4. Spyro is a slower, exploration and collecting based platformer
I just really want a new spyro that feel the same as reignited. Obviously with new things, and its not a bad list at all CGE.
Imo Spyro 3 has the best music in all the games. Midnight Mountain is my jam
I love the thumbnail artXD! Spyro the Dragon is like : "I would loveto see all again in my brand new video game in the Dragon worlds all five of them! :DOr it is six worlds ? Um,.I have honestly no idea!"🤔🤨😆🤗 LoL! ^-^
I would like them to Canonized Cynder as Spyro's Rival.
What about (do I dare say it?) Shadow legacy
@@flammable7961 yes technically that was the final game in the original continuity in the Spyro series but A Hero’s Tail was the last Spyro game released for consoles in the original trilogy.
@@Andres-TM true
Ice guardian Spyro reminds me of Velkhana from monster hunter
The Canadian joke is hilarious, I love TimHortons!
I'd would like to see Cynder make a return in the next spyro game or at the very least have a Cynder easter egg in the next spyro game
A New Cynder’s first appearance in Spyro 4 you meant?
I REALLY want to play Spyro with my friends. Wish you could play it co-op
Things id like to see them fix in Spyro 4:
@@flammable7961 yeah that’s what I was thinking too
Not to mention that the Elementals were basically Biff Tannen, Gunnery Sergeant Hartmann, the Joker, and Wakko Warner.
Can't wait for spyro 4
Me too! I am SO looking forward for that! 😁
God after a year of hell a Spyro 4 announcement is just what I need. I pray for it to happen. Also yes - bring back Stewart Copeland!!!
I just think that thumbnail is hilarious :D
I would love different breath attacks like Ice breath but do something with them besides just being different. Like maybe we can upgrade them like we have a standard Fire breath but we can upgrade it to where when we hold the Circle button and then Spyro shoots a fireball
for me, I really wanna see a Reignited version of some of Spyro's friends from other games/universes. Cynder, Flame, Ignitus, Volteer, Terrador, Volteer, and Cyril being my top ones
"It looked like a Pixar movie made into a bloody videogame."
*Every good actual Pixar movie game says hi lol*
Well, to be fair, I did sense some energy ,elements and inspriational influences of the spectacular 2016 Disney animated film Zootopia in the brand new2020 phenomenonal popular, successful influential and bestselling Crash Bandicoot 4:It's About Time video game,so I wouldn't blame Canadian Guy for comparing a Spyro video game to Disney /Pixar animated movies!😆😁😇🤗🌌❤💙💛
I will definitely will love to see Spyro having elemental breaths in Spyro 4 but please please don't bring back the bubble breath..
Right Bubble Breath is only for when you catch Dragonflies only
I know right?
I disagree, they should remove every other breathe, including flame, and just have bubble breath, that would make the game much more fun IMO
@@flammable7961 You're joking! All the other elemental dragon breath powers are more stronger and usful than bubble breathXD! 😆🤗
@@booksmartthealicorn3219 Yep, I was joking
