- Episode 3 sees us in the Lyon area. We start off at Serezin which is the station just south of Sibelin Yard (the main freight yard in Lyon to the south).
I did then travel to Feyzin which is the station north of the yard. The station wasn't great so I only filmed 1 train there which I will release on another video.
I then travelled to the North of Lyon to 2 stations Albigny-Neuville and St Germain Au Mont D'or.
Superb action Ben, these videos are just getting better and better mate. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the next episode. Take care mate, regards, Colin.
Thanks Colin. I always look forward to your comment as I know you are a European Railway expert
I don't know about being an expert Ben but i do know quite a bit about Germany. Never actually tried France myself to be honest.
All the best mate, Colin.
@@colingarwood9971 I'm too scared to start doing Germany in case I never come home 😂
Magnificent Ben I caught 37418 earlier today in the new loram livery
Nice one 👍🏻
Great video Ben, you are right so far I agree, that each day god better and better, and with so many different livery's. Regards mike.
This day was great as the freight didn't disappoint. Thanks as always Mike
A thoroughly enjoyable video Ben, such a variety of freight and motive power. The make up of some freight trains looked like the modern equivalent of the local pickup goods. Another 66, looks like it must have been the longest train it has ever hauled.
The variety is something I love out there. I was pleasantly surprised to see more freight than expected as well. Thanks Mick
Fantastic Ben, loving the European leg of your world tour buddy . Awsome 66 footage
Thanks Pete. 3 more episodes to come 😁
1:03 it’s almost like a proper EWS class 66
That’s because it is
It's always great to see them abroad
Another great one mate, not done this part of France and it doesn’t look too bad at all for freight!
Thanks H. Yes I did my research and was pleasantly surprised with the freight levels around Lyon. Next year Miramas and Setè in South France are on the list as well as Villeneuve St George’s in the evening in Paris
Interesting to note that all containers were mainland Europe in origin and no overseas jobbies. enjoyed that.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes the freight is France was quite impressive
