Trackside France S1, E4 - Trains at Artenay & Boisseaux

Episode 4 is at 2 stations situated between Paris and Orleans on the classic mainline between Paris and Bordeaux/Toulouse. Plenty of loco hauled action although there were some quiet spells in the afternoon the evening picked up to be quite busy.

Brilliant footage Ben. Plenty of diesel hauled freight which was quite suprising, and that track nearest the platform was in need of the weed sprayer. Take care Mate, Colin.

Thanks Colin. Yes quite a few diesels which is good to see especially for Europe. I was surprised to see a train on that overgrown line 😂

Another terrific video in the French series. Mind the gap when alighting, there maybe wild animals lurking at the platform edge, and if they don't get you the cables across the platform will.🙄 Hope there is more to come Ben.

Fantastic stuff mate, those loco hauleds don’t have long left now so good to get some on record. I’ll watch the other videos from France soon! Also a good amount of freight variety caught, sadly when I visited I saw next to nothing.

The corail stock was the main reason for the trip. This line is still got quite a lot but all on borrowed time. The freight this day was just a bonus and proved decent in the evening

@HSTHoward yes I remember you mentioning this before. The Marseille - Bordeaux and Paris Austerlitz - Toulouse still have a while to go I think. Obviously the TER corail stock are still in some areas particularly around Lyon. The new Ouigo classique trains could be the saving grace for corail stock as they are very popular so they are looking to doing more services for other cities 🤞🏻

I guess there's been some track work somewhere not to far away. Love the weed plough on the front of the class 507 as it enters the platform. What on earth was that pink think ? Great video.

I was very shocked seeing a train on the closest track. At first I didn't even see a track there 😂

Is the class 507 you're talking about a Omnéo Premium Rémi?
And the pink train are the Ouigo Classic trains (the low-coast version of the Intercité)
