I like that Blue Horrors dissolve into two motes of yellow flame, much like the Pink Horrors dissolve into two blue particle effects. Sure, you aren't actually fighting Brimstone Horrors as enemies, but it's a nice nod to it.

@@BananasAndBees That’s why I said it wasn’t super accurate for the CSM, they’re just as mobile if not more so because of the chaos boosts, but yeah still one of the most fun 40k games, and I don’t like it when people get so annoyed about space marines dying in games, a lore accurate game normally isn’t much fun, it’s good when games take some liberties, like in darktide, the veteran and zealot be no where near as effective as the psyker and ogryn but it’s no fun if they actually balance it that way. That’s one of the reasons I think a plague marine boss fight would be cool in darktide, because sure an astra militarum veteran and the zealot should realistically get wrecked by any CSM in lore, they should also lose to the beasts of Nurgle or plague ogryns by that logic, it’d be boring if it was lore accurate.
@@Blacktoothoneil Here’s the thing about the Darktide rejects, they’re the exception, not the rule. They can get away with doing the crazy shit they do because we, the player, control them. Not simply because they’re a psyker, a veteran, a zealot, or an ogryn.
I really love this game's variety of Chaos, it's not just one god and each one (except maybe Slaanesh?) has enemies that do it justice (definitely not bias because of all the Nurgle love)

I would love to play as a Deathwatch Marine! Granted, they're Xeno killers so it wouldn't make much sense to pit them against daemons, but I would still love to rep my boys in black lol

With how much this is based off the table top i can just imagine this sessions. A player with a single marine left on the table just winning all the rolls and somehow avoiding damage to a very pissed chaos marine players displeasure as he just watches his field getting wiped by a single marine
Doom was a game with infinite Replay ability because of the amount of custom maps made. I wonder if Boltgun is comparable. Could we get enemy packs and a map/campaign maker? Could I make a Orks Game? A Tyranids Map pack? How moddable is Boltgun?
Bricky oughta use the Shotgun more, from my own playthrough, it's a great weapon against deamons, it pretty much one shots both kinds of Horrors and Screamers if you're up close and personal.
Imagine if they brought Grimskull back and explained it by some Grot just scraping the charred leftovers of his brain off the walls, putting them back into his head and getting him to a Mad Dok. That would be fun. And then he just randomly shows up in Spacemarine 2 like "I said I wasn't done with you yet, Space Mareeen!"
Ultrakill is very much worth playing. Imagine Quake and devil may cry had a baby and then did a few lines, and then had code implemented by an eccentric madman who adds crash bandicoot, MandaloreGaming, and some of the most interesting interactions between mechanics i've seen in a while.
If i recall correctl, Grimskul died by getting shot by a plasma pistol.. I dont think theres plot armor in fantasy that could bring you back from that one
Its crazy how your Boltgun keeps stunlocking the space marines, i'm playing exterminatus and they don't give a fuck about my bullets. oddly they seem to have the same amount of health tho.
So bricky didn't notice it but the omni buff make the shotgun do ricochet bullets,i think the effects are the shotgun do ricochet bullets and the bolter increase in strength maybe the heavy bolter is like incendiary bullets,now here is a spoiler bricky did a foreshadowing of a weapon haha a great crusade weapon i already know what weapon is
Only ones I know for sure is that the Machine Spirit bonus for the regular Bolter increases its ammo from 25 to 45, the Shotgun bullets ricochets, and the Vengence Launcher has its STR increased by 1 (going from 3 to 4).
The Heavy Bolter allows you to fire without slowing down. This includes sprinting so you can shoot a heavy bolter at full speed. And yes it is as awesome at it sounds.
Bricky would enjoy the It's Always Sunny On Terra channel here on UA-cam. It's basically the Always Sunny and Warhammer mashup extended bit he did here.
I watched the first episode and was a bit disappointed by the sound of the bolter. Something has been lost in the upload as the bolter sounds godly in the actual game

And yeah you don't see your character for most of the game, so while it would equate to just a color pallette change for the hands and chainsword, the main appeal comes from the ability to play as your favorite space marine chapters.
@@TriptuneRadio problem is with how skins work in games these days with seasonpasses or stores. Secondly again you don't really see the model or have cut scenes which means it doesn't really matter. Doom 2020 had skins but those were visible in cutscenes AND were unlocked through earned tokens in game

I just find the concept of the fact you can sprint and bunnyhop circles around your enemies, as a *Space Marine*, completely and utterly hilarious.
Kinda lore accurate at least with the human enemies though lmao, not so much for the CSM

Machine spirit gives the shotgun ricochet. Can shoot around corners.
And on the plasma gun it makes the plasma get a larger blast radius
And it increases the magazine size and fire rate of the boltgun
