- This is an unreleased track that I recorded directly from the game and then edited lightly (level, fade in/out) using Audacity. There are two variations of this theme playing in the game:
- one version consisting only of the synth track
- the other one combines the synth track with strings
This is the first one. I've uploaded the second one here: • The Witcher 3: Wild Hu...
I really like this version. It reminds me of the 'Prophecy Theme' by Brian Eno in the Dune OST. - Розваги

The synth really conveys an early 2000's feeling. I love it so so much.

One of the most beautiful uses of the synth I've ever heard. This is truly a game with one of the greatest soundtracks of all time. This particular Melody is so immersive. It gives me a sense of comfort, melancholy and a peace and loneliness that I can't really describe
There are so much feelings of longing in those key changes like the one at 1:40, so beautiful and melancholic...

I'm so glad this exists as a guitar backing track. I love playing this theme on acoustic. Beautiful medieval feel to it. Easily the best song in the game, yet oddly missing from the official soundtrack.

Sorry, this is all you will get from me. ;) As explained elsewhere, I just recorded the music from within the game using Audacity (on Windows), so you can easily try it yourself. Just visit de game settings to mute everything except the music, then record it. I don't know any other method.

@@muathk100 It's been a while, but if I remember correctly it's played in the general area of Ard Skellig (when not in a town), during the night.
@@muathk100 I mostly remember this music in one of the ard skellig villages where there was a coflict between elderly and young people. you take a contract to solve the tree monster thing problem

I also love the only synth version alot, was difficult to find on web due to unreleased version. Still interested if someone provide lossless wav with spek verified. The audio version of this track I find on web is of very low quality when I crosschecked it on spek(very low spectrum).If studio provides me it's lossless version with full spek, I am still interested to pay for it.

Could you also upload the version of "Wolven Storm" which plays in the Blood and Wine DLC? I think its played in a tavern and starts with the classical guitar only
Sorry, probably not. It's been years since I played this game and it would take a lot of time just to get to this point of the game again. If you want to do it yourself (on PC), it's not complicated: launch the game, find the part where the music plays, go to the audio settings of the game and mute everything except for the music, and use a program to record the sound on your computer (I used Audacity, which is free and relatively easy to use). The music usually loops, so you can record a bit more than necessary and then do some light editing to keep only the party you want, maybe with some fade in/out (also in Audacity). That's how I did it. If there are other ways to do it, I don't know them.
@@s427 I forget sometimes that you can literally just record music in a game by itself and it doesn't just get released somewhere by the official studios who made them
