This system works really good if you are strictly a 4c shop, with optimization and In press it's even better. If you do alot of PMS changes with the right operator you can utilize this feature.
I ran 2 brand new2007 Heidelberg speedmaster with xl 105 feeder delivery and counsel fo almost 14yrs. Avg around 20 MR a day. 125 waster sheets with 150 overs. Really good system can't seem to find another place here in California with that kinda of production. Alot of shops run the press into the ground . Little to no maintenance will kill your production. 300milllion on both machines. 6hrs of maintenance every week.
Not happening in a real world printing environment. With Lack of maintenance being normal, this example of “best case scenario” would not happen 6 months after the installation. It also requires people ahead of the pressroom to really know and understand printing, which is rare…
