Hi Mummysworld, thank you so much for watching and for your question.
Both Montessori and Waldorf (Steiner) are truly lovely philosophies and share a lot in common, but are also different.Whereas Montessori is more focused on reality, Steiner emphasis is on imagination. Montessori is more individualistic approach.
If we were living in the US, I probably would have considered Waldorf, as there are many established schools there. Here, in the UK, I did my research for my son, and I didn't feel it would have suited his personality. When you choose a school (if you have options, of course), it is really important to start with your child's personality - each child is different and some children may benefit from one environment more than other. My friend, who is a Montessori qualified teacher and runs her own nursery, choose to send her child to Steiner and she is really fond of their system.

Hello! I can’t afford Montessori school for my toddler-which books do you absolutely recommend for a toddler? I would greatly appreciate any any any suggestions. 🙏🏻
I’m from Cartagena (living in US) and hope that you enjoyed the city! I’m happy you got to go; I miss it.
