Vocaloid means vocal synthesis software, SynthV is a vocal synthesis software
@@CrissCover no, the term "Vocaloid" only applies to the specific piece of software by Yamaha, which is of course Vocaloid. The term does not mean "vocal synthesis", it merely implies the idea of 1 singular brand name.
take this for an example: you have mountain dew, and you also have sodas. "soda" is a broad term for any and type of drink that would be counted as soda. meanwhile mountain dew is a singular drink with its own name. its like calling coke a mountain dew.
Now, yes SynthV and Vocaloid are both similar vocal synthesis software's, however to call SynthV "Vocaloid" is incorrect, since Vocaloid And Synthv are both different separate software's developed by different company.
The slow talking parts give me literal chills. It does sound like a machine trying to pull through.
I RLLY HOPE THIS COVER BLOWS UP the shaders you used for this were a very creative choice + she sounds incredible here! The tuning throughout, especially during the spoken parts, was perfect for the tone of this song!

The tuning in this is literally perfect, usually I’m able to distinguish between human and virtual voices really well, but with this, even though I’ve listened to Eleanor before, I literally couldn’t tell at certain points and probably wouldn’t have been able to if I didn’t know it was Eleanor

question, how to do the muffle like that?
For most of the muffled parts, I used bitcrusher (which really heavily compresses the audio quality) and either put it through a guitar amp plugin or some other distortion. I also added some reverb and put it through a "telephone" preset in EQ, which made it really hollow and treble-y. Pretty much any distortion effect alongside any weird EQing will distort it similarly, but I used built in VSTs in Studio One (Ampire, Pro EQ, Bitcrusher, and Redlight District).
