Finally an actual review!
Everyone else just told us what it’s supposed to do and not what it can do.
Thanks mate, I am glad that you found my review useful. 👍
Great vid once again Robbie I found it very informative will definitely have to get one for myself keep up the great content 👍
Hi Reuben thanks so much mate.
Awesome fish finder mate great to have a new one👍
Great review mate, it looks like it does a great job
Thanks buddy. It works a treat. 👍
Another amazing video by the legendary Robbiefishing.
Haha thanks you so much Jake.
@@robbiefishing you inspired me and my mate to start our own channel
Imagine casting one of those into the wrong place getting snagged on some sticking up logs. Anyway excellent vid. Keep it up!
Haha that would really suck. Thanks heaps mate.
Was waiting for this 👍🏼
Thanks mate. After I stuffed up and forgot to take a rod last week? Haha
@@robbiefishing hahaha don't worry mate I have gone fishing and forgot my tackle box and bait haha
Still managed to get a bass that day my rod had a hook on it still from the last fishing trip and I managed to find a potato digger under a rock 👍🏼
Catch you on the next one mate
Cheers for showing off this great gadget I will be getting one very soon 👍🏼
Excellent video like normal, just one comment, i'm no sonar expert but my thoughts would be the lower 7° sonar angle would be used for deep water and the wider angles used in shallow water.
Thanks Adam, that was my thoughts too but I have a feeling it is backwards to what we think. I'm going to look forther into that.
I took one to Lake Moodemere last year in my kayak and had issues. Deeper told me that I was using the wrong beam angle. LOL
One day I’ll have to try and get on of these. Ripper video mate
Thanks mate, they sure are a cool gadget
Cool bit of gear 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks heaps Cam.
Mate I already watched this and commented from my main RandomPostsDaily,
But just wanted to stop by to say science news Australia aka scinews just brought out an article on the swamp yabbies you helped discover 👍🏼
Was a bit disappointed that they didn't give you a mention :(
DEEEPAAHHHH! I THOUGHT it was Broken Ck! DO they still catch ANYTHING in that old mud heap of a stream these days? I remember it didn't fish too well when I was a kid in the 70s!
Hi mate, what depth does the sonar cover or what's it's limit depth? Great review
Also what's the main differences between the models, id be looking at getting the best model available.
Yes Robbie back with a banger that is a cool little thing
I have a question for you mate how do you mash up clips on your vids
Thanks champ. I use a video editor called Movavi.
@@robbiefishing oh that sucks I want to do that but I don’t have a GoPro I am looking for a hero 9 and a tripod
Released some fish in the dam but haven't caught them in 3 months, might need to get one of these to check where they are...
Yowies prob fished them out by now!
You love the tech gear bro lol should have been on the enterprise.
Hahahahaha
What if your deep in the Colorado mountains and phone service don’t work? Does it still work????
Sure does mate. The wifi is a direct connection between your phone and the sonar, no phone or internet service required.
Cool
nice
Bagus video nya
I got one of these, they're great, but unfortunately the ball fell off, I think I had kinks in the line. Pro tip check your line before you cast out this great machine.
Oh WOW, did you get it back mate? I like to use 50lb braided line with a decent line clip.
@@robbiefishing yeah I got it back, water was shallow enough to just let me walk through, but 50lb braid and a good clip is a good idea.
Hey mate I’m going fishing today to catch some carp
Sounds awesome. Good luck buddy.
@@robbiefishing thanks Mate I going to make a video
Muddie CENTRAL!
the orange part of the thumbnail made me think he was pointing to a uh different webstie
LOL, no thats just his arm..👍💪
2nd/3rd I think lol
Haha well done mate.
The best part of this would have been to see if the fish show up and you didn’t even do it !!! Makes me wonder why you didn’t …??
Hi Dave, maybe there were no fish under the sonar? I like to use Deeper to find the structure, the deep holes etc...
I have found with most fish finders that if you turn the fish icons on, they will show everything as a fish. I prefer to turn that function off and read the sounder myself and decide for myself whether I think it is a fish or structure.
For species that swim in the open, like carp and trout the fish finder will show them easily, but for native fish like Murray cod and yellowbelky that live under the logs, I prefer to just find the logs if thay makes sense.
@@robbiefishing Carp? Ocean? BHUDDA help us! LOL!
@@robbiefishing So are you suggesting that this device isn’t great for actually identifying fish ?
I'd laugh if a cod whacked it
Take a break sir
What do you mean?
Maybe find a lake with actual fish
Hi mate, what depth does the sonar cover or what's it's limit depth? Great review
Thanks mate. I'm nit actually sure sorry, I would have to look it up. Being from freshwater most of the water is fish is shallow so there's been no need for me to look. I'm sure they will have the tech soecs listed on their website.
@@robbiefishing no worries mate, I'll have a look into it. I do some fresh water and salt water fishing and some times it can be over 200ft deep. Thanks for your time 🙌
