How does the number of dogs competing affect the points? Are the winners of all classes judged together for best of dog/bitch? Can a dog going to best of breed be a very young puppy vs an older dog? Or does best of breed is only dogs older than a certain age? For best of puppies, are puppies of all ages all together?
No, Reserve is the runner up to the winner of that gender in the classes, but only winners take home points, unless the kennel club finds that the dog that took winners was entered in the wrong class, for example was in the 6-9 month puppy class but aged out two days before the dog show, and should of been in the 9-12 month class, then Reserve would be given the point that the winner got and the winner will have that point taken off his record.
Awesome! Thank you!

So if you wanted more points towards becoming a champion, would you be incentivized to get more dogs to compete that day?
❤
Wait so how does a dog win in "the classes"? Is it appearance? or does it depend on Novelty Classes?
Does the Reserve dog get points if they beat any dogs?
