Hi! I’m a Christ follower and homesteader in East Texas. Is this going to be a “pay to join” membership sort of thing? Also, if I may make a suggestion, perhaps you might put out a “statement of faith” or “core beliefs” sort of thing as I’m sure many fellow believers will want to make sure they’re not associating with any sort of “religious cult.” I’m just saying that some may get the wrong impression of what you’re trying to accomplish. Also, in case you weren’t aware, there is a resource for homesteaders seeking community in East Texas called East Texas Homestead Co-op. Though it is secular based, there are many Christ followers in the group. They are well organized and offer informative classes and “work and learns” where they gather together to help fellow homesteaders achieve their goals. I understand your desire to create something similar with the freedom to talk about homesteading from a faith-based perspective, which is valid and I love the idea, myself, as I talk about my Creator constantly and want Him involved in every aspect of my life! But I wanted to share the resource for anyone wanting to find people in their area and take affordable classes, as well as help out their fellow man while being a witness to others about what Christ has done for us.
